Boots at a Bargain Price - Dr. A. Tillman GA
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good quality and styling.
Cons: A little tight on the right foot.
I was in need of a new pair of riding boots, and I was searching for a particular fit and style. Several boots caught my attention, but most lacked a certain flair I desired in a riding boot. My first criteria was a boot which reached just above my ankle for support. while some models offer shin protection, I have found this to be somewhat cumbersome for normal riding. Second, I wanted a more unconventional style similar to a racing boot, but shorter. Many of the boots I looked at were more like work boots than riding boots. In short, I was searching for a boot that I would be proud to wear, yet comfortable while I was riding, and for those moments when I would be off the bike to walk around and enjoy the scenery. This boot had all I wanted, and at a price that is easily affordable. The only downside is the boot is a slightly tighter fit on the right foot due to successive foot surgeries This is not the fault of the manufacturer I believe this will correct itself as the material stretches to accommodate my slightly wider right foot. I am pleased with the purchase, and plan to order another pair as these boots wear out over time. They are a handsome pair of boots and are excellent quality, and should provide many years of service. I highly recommend C.A. customers consider this product when making a purchase.
Great boot for the price. Sizing seems to be right on for me, I wear a 12 and it fits well.
Comfortable to walk around in, sturdy enough to protect much better than sneakers.

Pros: Good foot protection, comfortable to walk in.
Cons: Poor construction, terrible grip traction from sole
I have had these boots now for 3 seasons. I have two complaints, the outter tongue that velcros over the laces started falling apart within a month or two of owning them, the stiching came out, it still functions but is a hassle. The biggest issue with the boot is in relation to the grip from the sole. If you stop on any loose stone, gravel, etc. the boot will slip. I have had a handful of close calls nearly dropping my bike stopped because of my foot slipping. The ankle protection seems very good though, not too hot in the summer but feet get cold during cooler weather. I would not buy these again.
