Vega Night Boots - Garey in San Diego CA

Pros: Handsome boot, comfortable fit, okay for walking some distance while wearing.
Cons: I wish half sizes were available
These are a nice looking boot, easy to take off and put on with the velcro closing. The soles stay put on the foot pegs and they don't slip when putting them down at a stop. They make your feet feel secure with the high top design and I think they'd be a very good long distance choice for touring. They say Bike Night because of the reflective strips across the ankle but of course they work well in the daytime. You can walk in these, the outer sole is soft and comfortable on the pavement. However, I wouldn't want to spend the day in them or attempt a very long distance type of hike. So, if you are commuting to work or school for instance I think you'd want a set of walk around shoes once you arrive.I wish they came in half sizes. I am normally a 10 12 size and these were ordered in an 11. They fit but are a trifle over large, which means I can bring them to a more comfortable fitment with a padded sport sock for instance. So, if you are a half size go to the next size up to get the best fit. I'd recommend these as they are at a good price point and appear to be well built.

Cons: Lining seams ripped.
Have owned 6 months, but have only used a few times and the lining on both boots is coming apart at the back seam at the top of the boot.
