I've had these for eight years. They have survived three falls. They have some holes now and the rain liner started wearing out two years ago. I only really got good and wet with them in bad down pours for 60 mile rides. They could use a couple more belt loops. Overall, I like them. I am buying a new pair. Can't beat the price.
I purchased these pants in May 2008. I love them. I have put them to the test for rain. Pretty good, though I do get a little damp in the butt with extreme heavy rain. They are comfortable and have no rips or tears. I wear them a lot, especially in cool and cols weather over pants.
IMHO, these can't be beat for the money. They don't zip to a jacket, but for 20 or so, you can have the zipper portion sewn on. My Quest pants arrived a few days before a 200 mile ride in the rain and they kept me dry.
