Well built suit - IndyRob IN
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Tons of pockets, good quality
Cons: Hard to fit, needs protection for neck and chin during cold weather
Purchased this suit as an alternative to my TourMaster full winter suit for a more versatile riding suit for early SpringSummer riding. I normally purchase a large I am 6'00 and 170 but when the Large arrived it was WAY too big, so sent it back for a Medium, which fits my arms and chest much better but is a little too short. I prefer a slightly snug fit so kept the Medium. Unfortunately the impact point armor and hinge points at the knees and elbows seem too high. I have used the suit for several 35-45 degree rides and except for my neck and chin it does a nice job of keeping you warm with all the linings in place. Have not had a chance to try it in warmer weather yet. Wish it had a pull up chin guard.
Great suit. I have used mine quite extensively. It has all kinds of doodads like the neck muffler which extend riding just a few degrees colder or the large shoulder vents which allow you to ride on a slightly warmer day.
I wear an XL shirt and 40" waist pants. I tried the 3XL and it was just too big. I also tried the XXL and it is about right, but if I had them all to try on at the same time, I might be in an XL. IMO, the limiting factor is knee pad looseness. The arms and legs are nice and long. I am 6"2".
The suit has enough adjustment to pull things in pretty tight. In my XXL, the sleeves are still a bit loose, but pulled in to the 3rd snap makes them ok, without insulation. 2nd snap with liner.
Everything has been considered, as far as I'm concerned. I think this will be my 3 day suit for my short tour next week.
Hopefully they can help you find the right item and make the best buying decision.

Jacket ok, pants no... - 5050 TX
Recommended by Reviewer: No
Pros: Fairly warm jacket keeps you dry.
Cons: cheaply made. poor design. pants are not waterproof.
The jacket is fine... I wear a liner that I have from another jacket under this one and I'm good down to 33 degrees... or even more possibly... but 33 degrees is my cut off point for riding, any lower in temp and my tires don't get hot enough, you understand, I have yet to have any water seepage with the jacket, and I've ridden in some fairly heavy downpours... the pants, are a disappointment. they aren't even very warm.the leg zipper gets caught in the gusseting material all the time... I've had seepage of water in certain areas.. thighs, crotch, balls just sat in cold water on one ride... I've tossed the pants and gave up on em.. had to buy another pair of pants which are another disappointment as well... don't even try to put these pants on over your boots... gotta take the boots off first. I've learned my lesson now.. I'm not buying any more suits until I can get enough money scraped together to afford something that will do the job... not sure why they named this the Law Enforcement officer rainsuit, I can't imagine any motorcycle cops wearing this or anything like it while on duty...
