Information and Details about the Stop and Go Tubeless Puncture Pilot
made by Stop and Go
Ideally all tubeless tires should be repaired from the inside/out. In case you don't already know, most, if not all motorcycle, scooter, and ATV dealers will not repair your damaged tire. So if you want to be self-sufficient on the road or in the wilderness, you need the Stop & Go - Tubeless Puncture Pilot. This kit allows you to make an on the wheel repair to your tubeless tire and re-inflate it on the spot. It includes the award winning Pocket Tire Plugger with its (15) mushroom shaped rubber plugs and the very compact Mini-Air Compressor.

This all fits into a durable zippered canvas case that measure only 7" x 4" x 3" and weighs only 1.7 lbs. The mushroom plugs measure 5/16" diameter shaft x 3/4" in length. They work on all tubeless tires while the Mini-Air Compressors are intended for use on motorcycles, scooters, mowers, small tractors, golf cars, and ATV's. Some other features include: 12 Volt Compressor unit with built in Gauge & LED Light, 66" Power Cord that fits Battery Tender connectors, 12" alligator extension clips & 36" extension lighter adapter, 4" tire valve hose with sports needle & inflatable adapter.

Great Kit - Buddy   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Packaged nicely, looks complete
Cons: Might need to carry a pair of pliers with you to remove whatever.

This product takes up very little room in your saddlebags and the case it comes in is great. Can't really review the item until you have to use it and I hope that never happens. Will update if and when I have a flat.

Peace Of Mind - Foglifter   IN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Small, comprehensive
    Cons: None

I'd seen this type mushroom plug used once and had to have a kit like it. Hands down better than the noodle type plug I went with the kit with the pump over the CO2 because I have had experience with the cartridges and for the weight, the pump seemed a better option. It would use at least four CO2's to inflate. Yea, the pump.I have roadside assistance with AMA but if I can take care of something like a flat myself, I willWell worth the price for the peace of mind knowing you have something like this in your luggage or saddlebag.

Cheap insurance - Rick   FL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Compact size, good quality
    Cons: none

This is one of those purchases I have needed for years but never got around to it until now. It looks like a quality unit that will be priceless if I ever need it. Definitely want to look over the instructions and be familiar with the tool operation before attempting to use it.

good to have in a pinch - lisa in nj   NJ Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: most of what you need
Cons: kit does not include pliers

I have not had the chance to use it, yet.If you order this kit make sure you have everything you need to make it work for you when the moment comes. Just don't throw it into your case. You'll need pliers and maybe an extra cutting tool incase the one supplied breaks. That said, it's a great kit to have.

Tire Repair Kit - Rudy Fl   FL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Compact
    Cons: none

I have not had to use it, but it gives the comfort that I can do a repair if needed to continue my trips. The kit is compact and is easily stored on my bike.

Trip saver - PNW rider   WA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Small kit, fits in a small handlebar bag. Easy to use.
    Cons: No real cons

Practice once before you need it. One tip, keep tightening the inserter until the threaded probe is jammed by the pin that pushes the plug in

HOG 17 - HOG 17   WA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: [None]
    Cons: [None]

Has everything you need, just hope you don't have to use it too much.

looks good - 4corsa   NJ Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: convenient connection to Battery Tender cables
    Cons: [None]

haven't had to use it yet thankfully, but read the directions and tested the compressor - all very clear, and confident it would take no more than 20 minutes to repair a typical puncture and get back on the road. Great invention, especially since I have the battery tender cables set up on all my bikes.

Nice. Very nice. - JTJersey   NJ Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Compact, powerful and convenient.
Cons: Figuring out the plug tools took a bit of concentration.

Plugs into my Triumphs battery tender port and easily inflated the tires. Haven't had a flat to try out the plug kit and hope to never need it, but the unit is well made and tucks away nicely in my compact leather saddle bags leaving me room for other stuff. I feel much more comfortable having it with me when I'm way out of town. Get one. You'll like it.

Nice motorcycle tire repair kit - Tom   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: peace of mind knowing i have it along
    Cons: [None]

Used it on a trip about 2 months ago. Got a flat and was able to repair. Once I got home i ordered a new rear tire to be safe. This kit seems like it has everything i need to trips and for the price i could not image not having it now.

Repair Kit - Alan C   NC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: compact size, good directions
Cons: plug can be tricky to load in the installation tool, does not include the pliers needed to seat the plug

I purchased this after seeing some folks using one on a trip to the mountains. I just bought a Super Duke that needed tires and had a slow leak from a staple in the rear tire - perfect time to practice using the kit before getting the new tires mounted. The kit is easy to use, and the plug kept the tire inflated for three days before getting the tires replaced. I was quite impressed with how quickly the little air compressor filled the tire. I wouldn't use the plug as a permanent repair, but i think it will get you from the side of the road to a shop for a new tire with no problems. You will need a set of pliers not included in the kit to properly seat the plug, so I threw a small multi-tool in the kit. The kit is small enough to throw into a tank bag with no problems.

good to have in a bind. - zewerw   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: compact, convenient, good to have in a bind
Cons: cheaply made. gauge is off.

If you're going to be out in the boonies exploring this is a really good tool to have along. Just make sure yours works before you go off on that long trip. I just used mine to inflate my tires as they were low. I've had this kit for awhile now and never used it, so I thought I should test it out. It worked ok. however, the psi gauge is crap. doesn't give an accurate reading at all, so you will need to have a good gauge to make sure you inflate properly. at one point the compressor did not want to come on, I kept pushing the button on it and it wouldn't respond then suddenly it did when I started to remove the hose from the connection. go figure... all the tools appear to be made well enough to hold up for a few uses, except the compressor, it looks and feels like a cheaply made item that will break at anytime. but, the whole kit is a good idea to have when going on long trips out in areas that do not have many places to fix tires. You don't need this in city riding, unless you are just a DIY kind of person.
