good fit, decent price but I need a size larger - Tony D.   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: great flexibility, has some venting, well placed armoring
Cons: not enough ventingpoor vent location, one larger size needed

if they had one size larger I'd have been happier. they do run large however. I'm 6' 4 and 300 pounds. after wearing these a few times the waist has stretched a bit so they fit better. my previous riding pants didn't have the flex panels around the knees and back so this was an awesome upgrade from what I had. there is one vent in the top of each thigh that does help a bit at speed but I can't help but think if there were a second vent around mid calf it'd work even better. the armored points are well placed although the ones in the knees will seem low if you're just standing. I haven't ridden with them in cold weather yet but they feel heavy enough to me that I'd bet they would be warm enough without any additional layering needed.

Perfect - Karen   VA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Light weight, good fit, great price
Cons: Run a little large, ordered a size down.

I've been looking for a pair of protective riding jeans that would be comfortable in all weather and on long distance rides - 2,000 miles. I found all that and more in these jeans.

Speed and Strength Rust and Redemption Armored Moto Jeans - spenx   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: adjustable knee armor, slim fit, sturdy stitching & quality, well placed stretch panels
Cons: slim fit, Kevlar panel only in seat area.

I've been looking for a pair of riding jeans that would be comfortable, protective and yet stylish. In my opinion, this could be the best jeans to fit my bill with a sub 200 budget. Otherwise it'll be a pair of Ugly Bros for me which cost upwards of 300.Adequately heavy denim quality and most stitching are double if not triple stitched. Nice dark indigo blue with nice fading. Comes with CE approved knee armors that fit into deep knee pockets which can be easily removed without having to take off the jeans. Nice stretch panels above the knee and lower back with Kevlar panel in the seat area.Fit wise, I find that its more of a slim fit than a straight cut. Although the waist line runs true to my size, the thigh & knee area are a little too tight for my comfort or for anyone with more beefy legs. Went up one size and they fit great around the legs but that also means i'll have to use a belt now. As we all know, having a nice snug fit keeps the armor in place for proper protection and not have it riding up on your thighs in a spill. No decent rider would wear a baggy race suit for comfort and yet have the armor shift out of place during a slide, yesDespite being listed as having kevlar in the seat and knee area, I don't see any behind the knee area unless its sewn under the front of the knee pocket. Velcro strips on the knee armor and within the knee pocket hold the armor in place and allows for adjustability. Kevlar panel in the seat covers down past the buttocks but stops at the side seams. I guess its adequate but would have been perfect if it extends forward to cover the front of the hip bones as well.Overall, its very well priced for a pair of quality riding jeans.

Comfortable Motorcycle Jeans - Si   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Comfortable with Kevlar
Cons: Much more faded at the top than picture

The black pair I got is much more faded and white-washed at the top than shown in the pictures online. Also they have been pre-worn more than my preference. Fading is a bit exaggerated and doesn't look very good in my opinion. Other than that, they appear to be well made and are comfortable with Kevlar protection.

Overall good product - Spitfire151   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Good construction and look.
    Cons: A bit baggy.

The jeans appear well constructed and are comfortable to wear. They run a bit big and are good for over armorother pants.

Comfortable Riding Jeans - KATHY B   NC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Comfortable fit, good protection
    Cons: Runs a size small

I have really enjoyed wearing these jeans while riding. They have a good fit and don't stretch out until they are too baggy. I ordered them the first time in my normal size and they were just a little too tight can you say muffin top. I exchanged those for the next size up and have been happy with those.

Summer, Sport Bike fit - FlaferalKat   FL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: breathable, comfy, not too baggy, waist spot on see review
Cons: Odd and long fit for me with the leg length, armor

So after reading all kinds of reviews about waist measuring vs regular jeans, I measured a pair of my 32's, and found them to be 34. So I ordered these in a 3436. Spot on waist, but This is the first pair of pants I thought about sending back for being to long The 36's measured out to be 36 12, and then add 1.5s for the flex area when seated. The armor sits to the inside of the knee, but attaching it to the outer 12 of the velcro strip sets it straighter. The fabric is really light weight and they start to get a bit cold below about 75'F of course I'm used to Florida weather. I don't trust the denim for a get-off, and I don't want to find out how well the kevlar works. I wore these on 3 different bikes-A Honda CB500F, Ducati Multisrada, and a Victory Vision-tour. They fit me best with the tighter seated leg angle of the Honda. On the Victory forward controls, the stretch panelarmor do nothing as it and armor pocket just slide onto my thigh. I only wear them on my CB500F, and roll the bottoms up a couple inches. I kept the pants because I'm concerned that if I ordered a shorter length the armor pocket and kevlar knee patch would sit to high to be of use.

    Pros: Nice design
    Cons: fit is awful.

Jean is narrow, maybe cut for juniors. It fits weird in the bum.

Strike 2 - Mike   Recommended by Reviewer: No
    Pros: No idea
    Cons: no waist button- twice

I ordered one pair of these jeans, came with no waist button not even in the bag- just plain didn't sew one on returned for a second pair, which ALSO came with no waist button. Kevlar jeans should protect me in a wreck, if they cant be trusted to sew on the button to fasten the waist band, how do I know the seams wont blow out if I wreck NO THANKS
