"Received these for my birthday I had my husband order a size down as indicated by previous reviewers and after talking to your awesome customer service team I was super nervous until they came as I NEVER by pants without trying them on. I am 5'3, slightly curvy, and carry my height in my torso. Often jeans that fit in the seat , will gap in the waist or are way too long even if I can get all the above to fit .Out of the box these kevlar riding jeans fit better than most jeans I've purchased in the store. They have plenty of stretch and coverage in the back so you don't show off your assets in traffic Miraculously.. they accomplish this WITHOUT looking like mom jeans or safety kevlar jeans The length I ordered a regular was perfect . The Bell kevlar jeans covered my boots to the right length while riding and looked fine walking around. I'll be ordering the black color as soon as I can. and P.S. I shouted about you on my facebook page to all my two wheeling friends. Thank you thank you thank you This product ROCKS" - Jetty

Sliders Bella Women's Riding Jeans - mark   WA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: good quality, very comfortable, heavy duty
Cons: Took over 8 months for delivery in size 8 regular & they would not put them on backorder.

Excellent product but delivery was horrific. Took over 8 months and every month that I called to get a new delivery date I was given erronious information. Each month they changed the delivery date and pushed it back. I could not talk to the ordering department nor would they give me a phone number for corporate headquarters. Very poor communication and customer service.

Slider Jeans - Mary Rose   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Great fit and protection
Cons: None that I can see

I love the comfort and fit of these jeans I feel protected and they are not heavy feeling on. Order a size smaller than you normally wear tho as they run large. I wear a 4 and ordered the 2 and they fit very nice. I have ordered several pairs of these and love them

Comfortable Jeans for Women - FireChick   IN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Comfortable, stylish, good length
Cons: Runs 1 size too big

These are my first pair of Motorcycle jeans. They are very comfortable. They do run a full size too big. I wear size 10 jeans, and I ordered a size 8 and they fit fine. I'll know more about the comfort level once summer gets here, but so far they are great jeans for the price. I ordered both colors, but the blue pair was on back order for 6 weeks, so I cancelled them. The black pair looks good. Can't go wrong with these for the price and the protection.

Sliders Jeans - MaryRose   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Love the fit buy a size smaller than you usually do in jeans
    Cons: [None]

These jeans are awesome they provide the protection you need out on the road with the comfort of wearing a great pair of jeans They run large so buy a pair that is one size smaller than you normally do. They are super durable, wash up like a dream and are super comfortable. I go on trips that last 2 to 4 weeks and get some good riding in with them. They are durable and always look nice. BUY THEM

Great - Elleen   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes

    Cons: [None]

Followed everyone else's advice on the sizing. Worked like a charm. Everything is perfect. Thank you. Will be ordering other items as well.

I like them - DebDeb   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Comfortable and well made.
Cons: Highest armor insert setting too low for my short legs.

Even though I need to add another velcro strip to raise the knee armor, I'd highly recommend these pants to any Lady rider or pillion out there.

Womens Sliders Riding Jeans - Guzzi   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Very comfortable fabric both on and off the bike.
Cons: Sizing is definitely challenging but at least they run big so you feel happy about the size you need to pick

I read all the reviews before ordering these riding pants and decided to be safe and order a 6 and an 8 just to see which one fit better. I actually could fit in both pants but chose to keep the size 8 so I would be able to put a layer underneath during the cold weather months. They definitely have a very nice stretch to the fabric and the black color is great for matching up with moto jackets that also have black on them. I definitely was hesitant to purchase while doing my research because the price of these pants are a lot lower than a lot of riding jeans out there - I am so glad that I took a chance because they are great jeans for a really great price

Bella jeans - Tillie   OR Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Quality heavy fabric & construction front & back rise perfect for riding adequate ease in hips & thighs.
Cons: Waist could be shaped more.

Love these jeans and am sure they will last a long time. Look good too.

great pant - tina   AZ Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: great pans fit great...
Cons: cant find anymore of them...

I like this pants. they are comfortable. I wear them all the time. wish I could find some more of them

Sliders Bella Womens Motorcycle Riding Jeans - Caye   AZ Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: I'm a fan Love the jeans
Cons: Seams of the knee padding rub my knees a little when I'm in the saddle.

The jeans are great Heavy duty but not overly heavy feeling. Everything said in prior reviews about the size is correct. if you are a solid size 8, buy a size 6 and they will fit you perfect, even after a washingOnly con for me is that the seams for the knee padding hit my knees in a funny spot so I have to pull up my pant legs just a bit once I'm in the saddle. Luck of the leg length. Great pair of pants for extra padding without having to wear full riding gear. Highly recommend

She likes them - Doc   VT Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Better protection and look good on her
    Cons: none so far

Got these for my wife. She liked them right out of the box and uses them whenever she rides. Can't ask for more than that We will be adding the optional knee armor soon though, why go without it

Bought a 2nd pair - Leslie G   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Kevlar, look like normal jeans
Cons: big in the waist, sizes are way off

Just purchased my 2nd pair of these jeans in black first pair was blue. The sizes are really funky, but good for the ego For some reason the black jeans run even larger than the blue. I usually wear an 8 long and had previously purchased these in black 6L and they were HUGE. I sent them back and re-ordered in a size 4L and 2L. The size 2L fit like a dream, just a little bit big in the waist but that is the norm for me. They stretch a lot and are very comfy to ride in. Take the time to order several sizes and once you get some to fit you won't be disappointed.

Love these jeans - Wingrider   ME Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Comfortable, stylish, rugged
    Cons: [None]

I bought these jeans for our recent trip to PEI after reading other reviews. It was the right choice After getting a finger caught in a wood splitter this summer I began to think about what could happen if my hubby and I ever went down with the bike. I never had to test these jeans on our trip but I felt that much more secure on a long ride. If you like to ride in jeans these pants are for you

Women's jeans that fit full figured women finally - C.S.Drums10   LA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Fits
    Cons: none really

I am a full figured woman who is outside most of the protective motorcycle pants sizing but found these to fit and cover my assets appropriately when I am leaning forward on a bike. For once a true sizing and company that recognizes that larger women in Height and size want to be protected.

Great Jeans - Deb   MD Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great construction, quality materials, good fit
    Cons: None so far

I purchased these several weeks ago. I ride almost every day. The fit is good. Ordered one size down based on other reviews and the fit is fine. Normally wear a 10, ordered an 8, just loose enough to be comfortable on the bike. Have ridden in 90 plus degree weather for the last few days, in heavy traffic. They were no hotter than regular jeans. Ordering was easy on the website. Delivery was very fast. I plan to order another pair soon. I would recommend t

Great Value - Mel   OR Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Roomy, comfortable, price
    Cons: [None]

I've been wearing these for about a month now, both on short rides and a few all-day rides, and I've been very pleased. Fit on them is pretty roomy, I suggest buying at your normal jean size, possibly down one depending on your shape.

Perfect for road trips - D. H.   AZ Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Comfortable, stylish
Cons: Sizes run big, warm for hot weather riding

Bought 3 pair and kept only the smallest size in black, which was a 2 versus the 6 I would normally wear. Returning the other two pair was painless. Bought the long length which is perfect sitting in the saddle I'm 5'5. Wore these on our recent 4k road trip through all types of weather and had zero complaints. My husband also has a pair of Sliders he bought last year and they still look great. My only concern is wearing during hot weather riding. Our summer temps in AZ can reach 120. Of course, a little sweat is a small price to pay for the protection.

Great, comfortable jeans - Paulette   MA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Soft denim, nice color, wear well
Cons: Need belt to cinch waist

I ride as a passenger on my husband's bike. These jeans are super comfortable, true to size. They have exceeded my expectations. I did need a belt to cinch up waist a bit. I wore them for riding in JulyAug. The Kevlar did make them a little heavier and warmer than regular jeans but the protection they provide make these worth it. These are my go - to riding jeans.

Perfect, just what I was looking for. - Glenda   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Four side sewn in Kevlar, soft on the skin, sizing chart helped a lot.
    Cons: Absolutely none

I was worried about the fit since they are not true to standard size. I am 5'3 and 135lb. My inseam is 26 and waist is 32. I ordered a pair of 6 short and they fit great. I will need a belt, but I expected that. They are not tight but not too loose. Just enough bag in them to move without bunching or pulling. I got the knee pads and with them in they still feel great, not tight around the knees. When I bend at the knees they are right where they should be. I can't wait to go riding in them.

Just starting out - Michele   SD Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: These jeans are awesome and very comfortable to ride in.
    Cons: [None]

They are accurate when they say you have ti order a smaller size. My fit perfect and are very flexible for getting on and off of the bike. They look like normal jeans and are fashionable.

Great jeans, good value and fit - PBM   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great fit, reasonable price, look good
    Cons: None really

Ordered these awhile back. Just received they were on back order. They are super cute and comfortable. I am 5'4 and 150 lbs...the 8 reg fits me perfect. I like the fact that on the surface from the front, you really can't tell they have built in protection in them...other jeans I have bought had seams in odd places. These didn't. The denim is soft and has some give, which I is great...not at all mom jeans. Will be my go-to pants to ride.

Riding pants - Dave   RI Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Well made, substantial material, comfortable
    Cons: Sizes run large

This is a quality product. Well worth the price. Sizes do run large so you may want to drop a size.

Bella Sliders - Scrambler Girl   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: comfortable fit for long and short rides, wash and wear well
    Cons: [None]

These run big. I'm slightly curvy 5'5 130 lbs and usually wear a size 8 in Levis. After reading these reviews I decided to size down. I ordered the Bella in Black size 6 regular. I have to tighten up a belt and they are still comfortable to ride in. I will keep them for layering when its colder out but I'm going to also get a size 4 Regular when they get back in stock. Knee pads hit the right spot. Length is nice with boots. The waist sits just high enough that when you lean in things arent popping out the backside. Love them

Excellent jeans, plan on buying more - Firewoman   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Fabric isn't rough and very well made.
Cons: Figuring out to put in the knee armor was a challenge.

I wore my Bella jeans today for the first time. I had expected them to be somewhat stiff but they were nice and soft and the material isn't rough feeling at all. They look just like regular jeans and I got several compliments on them. I did order one size down as recommended in other reviews and they fit great. I'm planning on buying a second pair. They only thing I believe they should change is that some instructions should be included for inserting the knee armor. I've never had jeans before with armor and that was a bit of a challenge.

Blue sliders jeans - Michelle   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Comfy
    Cons: None

Usually wear a 14.... Bought the size 10...great fit. My waistline tends to run much larger than the legs....and these fit well. I'm 5'7 with short legs and the regular fit fine.

Buying a second pair - Very good pants   VA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Comfortable, soft, well made
Cons: none once you get size needed

These are really excellent riding pants. Well made, soft and comfortable-not at all stiff. Bought one size down and still loose enough to wear with thermals underneath in the winter. Now I'm buying another pair, another size down, to wear in the summer. Spent 14 hours in the saddle on a recent ride to Michigan and had no discomfort, no rubbing or problems whatsoever. I'm very happy with these riding jeans and especially happy that CA has taken care of the slower than average delivery history. I ordered and the next day they were en route to me. Super

Happy - Pamela   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Look great and comfortable
    Cons: none

I just received my Sliders Bella women's jeans today. I am petite and hard to fit, and usually have to buy teen or junior pants to fit me. I never buy clothes online I always have to try them on. So with some trepidation, I ordered the 2 short jeans. I am just under 5'1, 112 pounds, 27 waist, 28-12 inseam. I opened the box and thought, uh-oh, they look kind of big. I tried them on, and I was so pleased to see how well they fit. They are a little loose, but not baggy, and really soft and comfortable. Haven't worn them riding yet, just wanted to say thank you to Sliders Bella jeans and Competition Accessories, I am really happy I also bought the knee guards, haven't tried those on yet, but I think well worth it for another 12 to protect your knees.

Love them - A me   NC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Lightweight, stretchy, comfortable cut, breathable
Cons: Sizes are off from conventional measures

I truly love the fit of these jeans. They are soft and feel close to my regular pair. No one noticed or seemed to anyway as there were no comments about my riding apparel. The stretchy fit without being baggy conformed to my body needs. They seemed to breathe well on an 80 degree day without more sweating that in my typical jeans. Though I never hope to test them, it is reassuring to know that I can wear protective riding gear and still remain comfortable on and off the bike. I'd buy another pairOrder two sizes smaller than your usual size. Be aware that they company does not pay for return shipping.

Sliders Bella Motorcycle JeansBlue - Sue   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Very comfortable, good quality, great value
    Cons: Runs large

This is my personal experience with Sliders Bella I LOVE these jeans They are a super comfortable and very stretchy heavy denim that look, feel and wear like normal jeans. The sizing as most everyone has mentioned is way off, running quite large, so it took me 3 tries before I got my correct size but now I'll know exactly what to order for future purchases. I am 57 yrs old, 5' 3, usually wear a size 12 and wasn't blessed with an ample booty. I'm too old to be wearing baggy boyfriend jeans - and prefer them to be fitted so in these jeans I ended up needing to go down 3 sizes to a size 6, they are that stretchy. If you do have an ample bottom you may prefer to go down 2 sizes. Also, I like my jeans to be a bit on the longer side and these pants seem to run short. The average length fits fine but hike up a little too much for my liking when wearing my heeled boots. In future I would purchase the tall length and hem one inch. All that being said I would and will purchase these jeans again in the future.

Super Sstisfied - Lioness57   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Protection in all the right places, fit well, not heavy or baggy
    Cons: None

Have been shopping around for my first pair of riding pants. I am a novice rider and plan on being geared up every time I ride. Came across this website and these kevlar jeans. the price looked right. After reading the reviews I decided to take a chance and purchase. I was skeptical buying pants in particular without trying them on. They arrived in two days.. Tried then on right away and they are perfect for what they're for. I am 55, almost 120 lbs and generally where 2 or 4 regular in regular jeans . I ordered the 4 regular. The waist is a tiny bit loose in the back but a belt makes them just right, plus there's room to comfortably tuck in tops. As well good coverage AND flattering in the rear. I can't wait to try these on my Harley Money well spent and these will be my go-to riding jeans for quite some time

Great Riding Jeans - Laura H   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes

Love, love, love Slders Bella Riding Jeans - they look and feel great, super comfortable when riding. I feel really safe knowing they will help protect many layers of skin should the need arise. Happy to say I can't tell you first hand that they work I can tell you they are the only pants I'll wear when riding

Looks like normal jeans - The Rebel 13   LA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Looks like normal jeans.
    Cons: Runs large

I wear Levis 505 size 8 regular, not a snug fit. Ordered the size 8 Long, they could be pulled up and down without unbuttoning or zipping. Returned for the 6 Long. There is a bit of elastic in the waste band that will have give, no binding at the waste. The 6 Long is still a bit loose but very comfortable. The waste is high, mom jeans high. Unless you plan to tuck your shirt in, it should not matter. Overall very pleased with the jeans, not stiff, have a soft feel. Would buy again.

Love them - Jane from Southern Illinois   IL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Not too heavy, but good reinforcement, fit great, great price, love the 3 lengths option
    Cons: none

I normally wear a Size 2 or 3 Junior and was hesitant to order based on other reviews of sizing. These fit me perfectly. I'm 5'3 and weigh 109 pounds. I'm not very hippy so some things tend to be baggy and these do fit quite nicely through the hips, rear end and legs so I don't look huge when wearing them. I only have a 29 inseam but purchased the regular length as I wanted them to cover my boots to my ankles when I ride my sport bikes in a crouch. The leg openings are sized just large enough to go over my riding boots, but not to drag down over the heel when I'm standing. They also have a high enough rise to not let your underwear hang out when seated or riding. Love them

Women Motorcycle Jeans - Sandy E.   NY Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: yes
    Cons: [None]

These jeans are very comfortable and work for me. Did find they run large and ordered a second pair one size smaller. The legs are proportioned correctly to accommodate wearing my knee-high motorcycle boots beneath my jeans. Like the looks of the blue jeans but have placed my order for a black pair for travel. Jeans are not baggy but fit well and and have enough room to move. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I am sooo thrilled with the Jeans They have a flattering fit while not feeling overly heavy. Order your correct size.... I almost ordered the next size up because of experience with trying on other pants... and I am so glad I didn'tThe cut is great and I will be ordering another pair

Perfect Fit - Tall Lady Rider   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Heavy Denim & Stylish Cut
Cons: Hubby prefers I wear leather

These are great riding jeans. It is amazing to find a ladies tall size that really fits and doesn't look frumpy. I read other reviews first and ordered one size smaller than my usual. It was perfect. Finally riding where the knee guards line up with my knees

Fit - Newrider   NE Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: comfortable, stylish
    Cons: little big in waist

I am 5'4 and weight 110 pounds. I read previous reviews and ordered the smallest size 2 that was available because they run a little large. The size 2 is still roomy, however that will allow me to add a layer of warmth for fall riding.

Most Comfortable Kevlar Jeans - resa   GA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Fit and Feel
    Cons: run a little big

I have tried a couple of other brands and one had the cut for a much younger figure, the other is stiff and heavy and neither came in a short length. I am a middle aged, petite wife who rides as her husbands passenger. I require us to wear all the gear all the time no exceptions I like that these actually are cut so they fit me well and they come in a short length. I normally wear a 10 petite jeans and the 8 in these fit well. they are cut a little higher in the back waist so they don't leave a gap and they have just enough stretch to make them comfortable on the bike and not get out of shape. I actually enjoyed wearing them instead of complaining that I couldn't wait to get out of these jeans. My other gear pants are olympia airglides that have been altered or joe rocket cleo mesh overpants that are way to long that I normally wear over shorts or leggings depending on the weather. These Kevlar jeans are a great alternative especially on fall nights when we are heading to out to dinner.

Love Love Love them - TC Biker   MI Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Loose fit, long enoght, light weight
Cons: have to wear a belt to keep them up

Love Love these pants, they are not my long distance riding pants. Now have 2 pair and will probably buy more later. They fit well, and are real comfortable to sit in for long distances.

Womens and Mens Sliders - Eileen   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: good quality, comfortable, durable, machine washed well wo shrinking
Cons: different style from mens and womens and different shades of blue

We got these just before our 3130 mile road trip from San Diego to WA and back down the coast. The style was a little different between the mens and the womans, maybe because of the Bella and the color blues were different. My husband usually wears 3430, but the 3230 was perfect for him. I've recently been losing wt and had been down to a size 14 which was too large and had to get the size 12. The bella jeans are a tad short wasted for me, I have a tummy and usually get waists up above my navel. These fall a bit below, but they're not gabbing in the back. We were both comfortable I noticed the thickness kept my legs warmer on the colder riding, but not uncomfortable during the hot times. We were happy we got these.

Happy Customer - andree   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: comfortable protection
    Cons: none

Love these jeans. They fit great, the stretch makes them very comfortable with my legs bent, the waist is low at the front and high at the back to stop droughts. kudos to the designer. I ordered the blue which is a dark indigo and looks great when I get where I'm going.I am 5' 7 140 pounds. 30 waist, 38 hips and a 32 inside leg. I bought the size 6 long. they fit snuggly but comfortably and they are long enough when I am on the bike.I did not want the hassle of getting in and out of outer gear. But I wasn't willing to wear regular clothes. having previously slid down the road on my knee without protection. I would have loved some kevlar between my knee and the asphalt at that time. These jeans fit the bill and the price is good too. I feel good knowing I am wrapped in kevlar.

Great fit womens kevlar jeans - Kathy   MS Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Not hot
    Cons: Size

They are like wearing regular jeans, not as hot as I thought they would be. I like them better than the armor pants I have. The size you have to play with I read several reviews some say a size smaller some say two size smaller, I say if your normal size is a little lose go two size smaller, because after a little while these stretch. But best riding pants ever.

Pros: Well made and comfortable, kevlar jeans
Cons: They are sized a bit big so order 1 size down

My wife doesn't like to wear bulky riding pants and I want her as safe as possible these pants are a good compromise I liked them enoughthat I ordered a pair of jeans and a pair of cargo pants for myself as well.

Awesome fit, but order smaller - LindaH   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Long enough No waist gap
    Cons: Run huge

First Ladies, thank you all for telling me to order down. These jeans don't run big, they run huge. The guy on the phone had no idea, so compacc, you may want to give your operators a heads-up.Some stats I'm 52 and basically talking mom jeans for comparison. I'm 5'9, 168 lbs, 32 inseam, curvy fit, solid legs i.e. not particularly slim. My current size in regular jeans is awkward, a bit loose in a 12 tall, but way too tight in a 10 tall, major muffin top. I ended up ordering both the size10 and size 8 long Sliders for comparison. The 10's had a major waist gap and were too big all around. The 8's are perfect A little long, but will allow for a little shrinkage and a low heeled boot. LOVE the high waist back--I ride my own, thank you very much, so I appreciate anything that blocks those sneaky breezes in the fall.Color I was happy to find out the blue color is actually a very nice dark wash, not the brighter blue shown online. Also ordered the knee armor. I have CE armor already, but the Sliders armor flexes, so I think it will be more comfortable for long rides. I might order the jeans in black too, but the picture online shows a really faded wash. Does anyone have any input on the black color The blue was way darker, so I'm hoping the black is too. Thanks

Pros: great fit. soft not too heavy
    Cons: [None]

I had a larger pair...lost some weight and ordered the 4 short. I am 5ft tall 125#s and they are just a little loose. Very comfy I did have to cut down my small knee armour to get it in the right place.

These are great riding pants, comfortable. These do run big, I ordered a size smaller & still have to tug on them to keep them up. I got the blue & I am going to order a black pair in 2 sizes smaller. I won't ride without them. Sliders Kevlar Womens Jeans

Pros: Thick, fit well, good kevlar coverage
    Cons: Run big

Really like the way they fit, make sure to order at least one size down from your regular size. I like the coverage of the kevlar. They are very comfy, will be hot during the summer months's hot I got the knee protectors too and a little fiddly but I'm sure once I use them more the more I will get used to putting them and taking them out..

Order small - Sliders Bella Womens Motorcycle Riding Jeans   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Nicely fitted around real curves.
    Cons: sizes run very large

I love these jeans, though it was frustrating to find the correct fitting--maybe should include measurements for correct sizing. I usually wear a size 8 R. I initially ordered an 8 and 10 R, because I like my pants a little looser. Both were BIG, so I exchanged for a 6 R--still way too roomy I ended up ordering a 4 L and keeping my fingers crossed. Well, they fit all the curves just right, not too tight, not too loose can fit my forearms into waist to straighten my long tshirts around my hips and the length is perfect I'm 5'6, 130 lbs These jeans are not fancy, but have very well placed protection in the knees that is not obvious to anyone but the wearer. Worth the wait Exchanging items was very simple and fast, but order at least two sizes smaller than you're accustomed to. And go for long if you're over 5'5.

incredible jeans - Jim from Edmonds   WA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: thick generously located Kevlar linings and thick denim, wonderfully priced.
Cons: none that I can tell

I am so glad to have found these specific jeans and they are incredible. The Kevlar lining areas are very generous in their locations, the denim is quite thick yet cool enough for our Washington weather and also the price is amazing for the item you purchase. I was so envious when my wife received hers I wanted a pair for myself and just this week I finally ordered mine. Cannot wait to get my pair and try them on and wear them riding. They will be a lighter yet appropriately protected gear for the summer riding as I ordered the CA armor. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you

    Pros: very comfortable
    Cons: [None]

I'm normally about a size 8 or 10, so I ordered the 10 to make sure they were roomy enough to fo over layers. The 10's were way too big. I ended up exchanging them for the size 6. Those are still big enough to fit layers under the jeans. Overall, i'm really glad I got them. High quality, comfortable and they look fine too.

great fit for me - SBCeleste   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: great fit, I feel safer wearing these
Cons: a little hotter than regular jeans

The fit was great for me. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a smaller size. An 8 short fits me perfectly. Typically I am between a 10-12 in jeans at 5'3 150 lbs. I carry most of my weight in the hips and these worked great for me. Wish I was really an 8 lol

Great Around Town Pants - GM   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Comfortable, fit great, knee armor pockets
    Cons: So far none.

Bought a pair last year for around town riding. Since adopting an All the Gear All the Time ATGAT philosophy, I realized I was no longer hopping on the bike to run errands, go out to grab a bite to eat, visiting friends, etc. Hopping in the car was easier than donning riding pants. These jeans were my solution to get back on the bike more frequently. While I know they may not protect me as well as leather or heavyweight textile, I know they will do a much better job than regular jeans. The women's fit and the knee armor pockets are the reasons I chose Bella's.

Nice jeans to keep me safe - J.M.   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Nice stretchy material
    Cons: Sizes run large

These are my first pair of Kevlar jeans, so I have nothing to compare them to. They appear to be very well-made, and I suspect they will last a long time. It did take two tries to get the right size. I was afraid to listen to other reviewers and order down a size because I'm a bit curvy. But, I should have heeded the warnings of other reviewers. These jeans definitely run slightly large. They have a nice rise to keep the backside well-covered, but they aren't too high in the waist. They're just right

Very Comfy Kevlar riding jeans - Vicki   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Very Comfortable, Great Protection
    Cons: [None]

These Bella Women's Riding Jeans are sooo comfortable and has a stretchy jean material for a great fit. Based on other reviews which helped greatly, I ordered one size smaller to my normal jean size...and it fit great. It was still a little large around the waist, but that is what a belt is for. Men and women have complemented the look of these jeans. I definitely recommend these jeans and well purchase again.

Womens Bella Sliders - Joe   NC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good Fit, Not Too Loose
    Cons: Run big

I ordered the Bella Sliders for my wife with trepidation because I never have had success with clothing for her. She loved the jeans She wears a 4 or 6 depending on the pants so I ordered a 4 and they were just right. They run long too but are perfect for boots.

NiceRidingPants - wendyj   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Comfy, great for thick-waisted women, great long length
Cons: Wish the bottoms flared out a bit more, but really no cons

I am normally size 16, and very barrell-shaped menopause-age. I bought a size 12 because I have fairly thin legs in comparison with my waist. The 12s were perfect for me. They stay up on thier own, and I can wear them all day at the office, when I choose to ride the motorcycle to work. I do not use the knee pads. I wear fairly tall boots under the jeans. I do wish the leg opening was more boot cut, but the pants do fit over the boots and I like the long-length version. I'm tall - 33 inseam. The tall version was perfect. I do plan to purchase another pair of these in the near future so I don't have to keep wearing the same pair of pants every day eew.

Nice quality denim and good fit. A must for riding without chaps when its too hot. Same level of quality as mens sliders. Good value.

Love 'em - Eva   NM Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Comfortable, good fit for petite sized, value
    Cons: none I can see

I am 5' short, 120lbs - ordered a 4 regular. Didn't get the 'short' because I like my jeans a little bit longer to ride over my boots plus a little. I originally ordered the 4 short and for some reason they were a little tight for my comfort. Got the 6 short and they were way too big so I took my chance with the 4 regular and they fit perfect. The Kevlar that you need to order separately - very reasonably priced can be placed properly even for my stature which is not an easy find for me. There's still a little room at the waist but not to where it makes much a difference and it makes it that much more comfortable as a rider. I wore them for the 1st time on a 250 mile ride yesterday and I was a happy camper I think I'm going to get another pair in black. They are very stretchy and heavy for good protection. Not sure how they'll be in the summer. Although it took some trial and error to get the right fit, it was well worth it.

    Pros: FIT like a dream
    Cons: none.

Received these for my birthday I had my husband order a size down as indicated by previous reviewers and after talking to your awesome customer service team I was super nervous until they came as I NEVER by pants without trying them on. I am 5'3, slightly curvy, and carry my height in my torso. Often jeans that fit in the seat , will gap in the waist or are way too long even if I can get all the above to fit .Out of the box these jeans fit better than most jeans I've purchased in the store. They have plenty of stretch and coverage in the back so you don't show off your assets in traffic Miraculously.. they accomplish this WITHOUT looking like mom jeans or safety jeans The length I ordered a regular was perfect . The jeans covered my boots to the right length while riding and looked fine walking around. I'll be ordering the black color as soon as I can. and P.S. I shouted about you on my facebook page to all my two wheeling friends. Thank you thank you thank you This product ROCKS

Sliders Bella riding jeans - Cathy   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Very good construction, staff very helpful.
    Cons: Only have even sizes.

Loved the product but only even number sizes. Size 8 to big, size 6 to tight. Will have to buy a size 8 and get them tailored to fit right.

Love them - Cindy   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Comfortable fit.
Cons: A little scratchy inside legs.

I finally found a pair of motorcycle jeans that fit, are comfortable and look like regular jeans. I bought the black that have a washed look. I wear long underwear with them so that scratchiness in the leg doesn't bother me. I might have to put a cloth piece to cover that little area inside when I'm not wearing long underwear. Feels like scratchy Velcro where a reinforcement patch is on both legs. Overall, great jeans, size 2 feel great due to a little stretch in the fabric. Will probably buy another pair and would recommend them but some might want to buy one size larger.

These Kevlar Jeans are worth it. - lisa in nj   NJ Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: available in short lengths. good construction. good for cooler weather.
    Cons: they do run big.

I only had two chances to wear these. Both rides were short, though. What I noticed rightaway is that they are quite heavy and coupled with a slack waist they will go south on you. I read the reviews before I bought the pants, but decided to order in my size, anyway because I prefer too loose to too tight. With the colder weather coming on here in nj there is plenty of room for piling on extra layers. If you're riding in warm weather I think ordering a size down is a good idea. The short lenght seams a little long at first, but it works out perfectly once you're geared up and on the bike. They are very comfortable on the bike.Go ahead and order your self a pair of Kevlar Jeans.

Best kevlar jeans I've found - mamalama70   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: LOTS of Kevlar, perfect length, very comfy.
    Cons: None

These are super comfortable and have more Kevlar than any other jeans in this price range, that I've found. They look like basic jeans, and are fine to wear off bike. Because they have some stretch, they don't lose their shape while riding, so they don't look all droopy if you need to walk around in them. Some people say they had to go down two sizes, but I only went down one size and they fit great. If you're curvy then you may want to do the same. The waist is a bit loose, but I think that's more comfortable on long rides anyway. I'm 5'10 and the length on the longs fit perfectly. These are definitely my go to riding pants.

    Pros: comfort, protection
    Cons: [None]

I purchased these jeans after having them recommended to me by others on a motorcycle forum. I purchased a pair somewhat skeptical that I was ordering the correct size - but listen to others - I ordered a size smaller than I normally do and they fit well - just be aware that the waist runs larger than other jeans to allow for comfort when sitting on the bike. I will be ordering another pair for sure. Thanks for a great product and I will be back to shop here again

Women's Bella Slider Jeans - Bill   TN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: good look and feel
Cons: sizing is a bit tricky

Ordered the blue jean sliders for my wife. Got one size smaller after reading the reviews indicating they ran large. And the blue jeans were a good fit, looked great and proved to be a comfortable day long pant on our trips. My wife liked them so much we ordered another pair in black. But they were true to size and, since we ordered one size smaller, they were an uncomfortable fit. She had already washed them so we decided not to return them for a larger size. I would buy these jeans again and recommend them to others- just make sure the fit is correct before throwing them in the washer.

So glad I bought these - mamalama70   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Protection, fit, style, overall value.
    Cons: None

I received these last week, and wanted to wear them a few times before I reviewed them. They're heavier than regular jeans, and there is a LOT of Kevlar in them. But you can't feel the Kevlar against your skin at all, because it's covered with a very soft fabric. The fit is very comfortable, and they don't bind or pinch while in the riding position. Because they're so stretchy, they snap back into shape and don't look all stretched out when you get off the bike. I've seen a lot of reviews saying to order them 2 sizes smaller, but I only ordered one size down and the fit was perfect. If you have fuller thighs and a rounder backside you may want to do the same. The waist is a little bit loose, but I actually think it's better that way, as it prevents them from feeling like they're cutting into your stomach on long rides. I ordered longs, and they were just the right length for me, at 5'10 tall. My husband liked the way they fit and looked so much that he's ordering a pair of the men's version for himself now. Finally, I also opted to get the knee armor. I rode twice without it in place and three times with in place. The armor didn't feel uncomfortable at all, and I was actually more relaxed, because I felt more protected. These are GREAT looking and fitting jeans and I highly recommend them.

Great Jeans Run big... - Lauren   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good quality, nice style and fit
    Cons: Run large

All the reviews say that these run large... And they do. I ordered the same size as I wear in Levi's... And they fit, but are definately a little bit bigger in the waist than my regular jeans... Everywhere else fits fine. They look good, I will just have to wear a belt to be safe . I am keeping them in this size so I can layer under them in the colder weather... But I will probably get a smaller size for the summer. The denim is VERY stretchy... More so that regular stretch jean. The optional knee armor is great, and was cheap Fits in the jeans nicely, and is hardly noticeable when worn.

My husband bought a pair of sliders and encouraged me to get some. His looked OK but I was hoping some for me might fit a little nicer. I was tickled that Sliders were in my size 4, but I held off on excitement till they arrived. They are made of a real nice stretchy material. They fit like a glove and look good too. I really like the way they have a slight rise in the back so that when I am on the back of the bike I'm not slowing traffic, if you get my drift. I love riding in these jeans too, they are very comfortable and look nice enough to not be noticed when off the bike. Highly recommend these pants but hope I never need the protection they provide. My wife bought these a few months ago and has ridden in them quite a bit. She says they're very comfortable and we both like the protection. They look very different from usual women's MC jeans and aren't bulky. You probably wouldn't notice they're reinforced with Kevlar at all unless you looked very hard. Top notch service at Comp Acc as usual. Fast shipping.

Great jeans - Mo   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Soft, stretchy, comfortable
    Cons: [None]

I just bought a pair of these jeans right before a three day motorcycle ride. I wore these jeans all three days, and they're super comfortable. The stretchy material is nice and allows you to throw your leg over the bike easily. They're also pretty wind resistant, I was suprised at how little wind got through the material. As far as sizing goes, I too the advice from the other reviewers and ordered a size down since I like a more fitted jean. They were just a touch snug, but stretched out a tad and are now perfect. But, if I wanted to add the knee armor, I wouldnt have room. Just FYI. As far as crash tested, I hope to say I will never find out. They've got to be better than the regular jeans I I used to wear though.

Order these in one smaller size than you normally would. I've tried all kinds of pricey, uncomfortable Kevlar jeans and its unbelievable how awesome these are. Wore them 5 hours and didn't think about them once except how comfortable they are and how normal they look. Great blue shade. Getting black also. My boyfriend got the men's after hearing me rave.

Great jeans at a great price - Paula   MA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: wonderfully comfortable, nice blue color
Cons: little large in the waist -- works fine with a belt

Simply the best deal out there for a womens kevlar motorcycle jean. The fabric is stretchy enough so you get a fit that is comfortable without being baggy or boxy. They are a relaxed fit and work well for curves --but with the choice in lengths I expect that you can find a good fit too if you have a slim figure. I'm 5'9, 160 lbs and wear a 10 Long. These would be too long for regular wear but are perfect for riding. The waist is a little big so I wear a belt with them.

Flexible, good for cool weather - Alison   MD Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Flexible, not itchy, good rise to back
Cons: Hot and heavy in temps over 80

I searched hi and low for an affordable womens Kevlar jean. The others sat way too low on the hips for me. I am 50 ish, a solid size 12, 5'6, and full figured. I do not want to look like I am trying to be 25 again. So I ordered a size 12 long and they were wayyyyyy too long. I returned them for a regular and the length was perfect. I wore them on a 2000 mile trip thru ontario and back to Maryland so I was able to test in hot and cool temps. First, I should have ordered a size 10. They are cut very large. I would not have believed it as it has been years since I wore a 10 But yes, order a size or 2 down. The return for a different length was quick and easy. The jeans are vey comfortable in temps under 80 but get warm and heavy after that. I still wore them to hike around off the bike and managed ok. While not super feminine, they are better that most while still providing protection. The material is flexible and makes the leg swing easy getting on and off bike. The Kevlar does not itch, and the back rises well enough up the back to keep your dignity I would order again The black looks great.

They are a really good quality item and very comfortable. After reading some of the reviews before ordering mine I did order a size smaller. They're stretchy and soft and have good kevlar coverage. They sit a little higher than regular women's jeans, which I like because I want everything covered in case of a crash and I don't want my hiney hanging out. Overall, no complaints. Love these jeans I am a size 4....with occasional need for a size 6 in some pants.....and the size 4 fit beautifully while still being comfortable. Good stretch The protective knee pads fit well inside the jeans. The only downside is that you need to play around the the positioning of them to keep the flexible joint section from rubbing against your kneecap and causing discomfort. I also wear stretchy leggings under the jeans to help with any rubbing. Overall I'm pleased with them. Just needed to get the positioning right.

Stretch denim with Kevlar. I was a bit hesitant as stretch jeans tend to bag out on me. These jeans are comfortable. I'm thick waisted and have slender hips. I have a hard time fitting jeans as Im also short. These jeans fit They run big. I'm 5'4 and wear a 1012. I bought a 10. They are bit too big but not so much to return them but not enough to buy an 8. I do appreciate that the waist sits on my waist and not on my hips. I'll put on a belt and ride comfortably down the road. I am buying another pair

Pros: comfortable fit, true to size, wash up nice
Cons: a bit of a pain to insert the pads

I have the other brand of Kevlar jeans and was not happy with fit or function real big, real heavy and no place for knee pads. Hesitant to buy these thinking I might get the same but much to my surprise they are great. I wear them on all my short rides saving the full out gear from my long touring rides. I would recommend these jeans as a great addition to your riding ensembles.

Bought these for the wife. She disliked all of the traditional textile armored pants as they were too bulky. These at least add some protection and I like to option to add some knee armor. She's 5'3 and a usually wears a size 4. I ordered the size 4 regular length and they fit perfectly. Would recommend for the casual riderpassenger.

Pros: Fit Curvy figure, higher waist, stretch fabric, nice wash, good fit overall
Cons: Waist a bit larger so belt was needed for the gap

Comfort and Quality - Lisa G.   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good quality, soft and comfortable
Cons: No 34 inseam available armour sits a bit too high even in lowest position

Size-wise, I am a small 6 or large 4. I was aware these jeans run a little large, but the size 4 long was on back-order. So I figured I'd take a chance and order the size 2 long. They arrived very quickly, in just 3 days. The very first impression as I took them out of the bag is how SOFT they are, including the Kevlar. It even felt like the Kevlar wasn't even in the areas of the pants as advertised, but believe me, it is there When I unfolded them, I thought there was no way I'd be able to fit into them, let alone with the armour in the knees. But they have amazing stretch and though they fit snug, they are extremely comfortable with no areas at all of binding. I do wish a 34 inseam was available, as these are a bit short on me, but should be okay with boots. Also, I guess because of my longer legs, the armour, when placed in the lowest position in the pants, hits a bit higher than I need. Overall, I feel the quality and fit are great. If you like a snug fit and want to avoid the baggy look, you can likely order 2 sizes smaller than your usual. They hit just below the waist with no gaps. I'd love to see these in a light faded denim color and would defintely order another pair. I do not intend to crash-test them

Love at first fitting - Wendy   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Soft stretch denim. High ride up back. Much cooler than my textiles pants
Cons: Run large- the size chart here isn't accurate. What ever you think you wear go one down- the long length is a little long but better than a shotty hem job..

These are great kevlar motorcycle pants I have been riding around in the men's style for 2 years or more HA So glad there are woman's jeans now - Now my friends won't bust my chops. Listen to the reviews go one size down and remember the long length is a little long... Happy riding

Better fit than Draggin' Jeans, better price - Mrstarzan   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Perfect weight of denim and kevlar, knee armor pockets, sits only slightly below waist
Cons: Sizing runs large, check to make sure armor pockets sewn with entrance at bottom not top

My husband and son wear Draggin' Jeans because they are so well made. I, however, cannot get the right fit with them Draggin' jeans, even in women's. These jeans are similarly made but have a much better fit to the female shape. I am 5'7, 155lbs. and I had to get a size 6, Long. Regular probably would have been fine but I do like the fact that there is plenty of length when I sit on my bike. I normally wear a size 10 average length in Levi's.My only complaint is that the pocket for the knee armor on one of the legs was sewn upside down. This made putting in the armor on that leg difficult mostly due to the fact that the mesh overlay prevented easy access. I didn't realize this until the day I needed to have the armor in, so I didn't return them. I think I may just cut an access point at the bottom of the pocket, since there are three velcro strips on each end for optimal placement. I don't always use the armor and the mesh is quite nice. The velcro strips are heavy duty so when your knee is flexed, without the armor, you can see that they are there. Not a big deal to me though. The waist sits just slightly below my waist and provides plenty of coverage when leaned over the bike. I find them to be very comfortable and plan to pick up another pair.

Pros: Come in 3 lengths. Adjustable pocket for knee armor. Great fit.
    Cons: None so far.

I'm really short 5'1, with short inseam. Tried many riding pants & most way too long with knee guard down near my shin somewhere. I bought these in the short length and bought the optional knee guard inserts. They fit perfectly and I like that there are 3 different placements for the knee armor. They do run about one size larger but that could be good for layering. I loved them so much I bought a second pair one size smaller and they are very flattering and comfortable. I hope they come out with some cargos for the ladies with the same benefits. Finally Thank you

Very pleased with these Womens Kevlar Jeans - Tracy   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Flexible but substantial. Kevlar Coverages
    Cons: None so far

I'm 5 feet tall, apple shaped and normally wear a 16 short. I ordered a 14 short and they are almost too roomy. The waist sits high on me even in the short which means that women who are not as vertically challenged as me should still have good butt coverage, even on a sport bike, in these jeans. The length is enough so that on my bike with legs up, the jeans still come to the tops of my boots, which I like. Overall, I like these jeans and will likely order another pair but go for yet another size down.

Pros: Short length great for vertically challenged women. Very comfy.
    Cons: None so far

I am only 5' 1 and have a difficult time finding armored riding pants that don't need alteration in relocating the knee protection andor length. These pants are perfect length and the adjustable knee armor pocket is terrific. The Kevlar reinforced area is soft, not stiff like other Kevlar pants I've tried on. They sit true to your waist so you won't have a breeze as with some of the lower cut pants. I would order one size down unless you are going to wear a lot of layers. In Florida I hardly ever need layers. I plan on ordering a second pair and just change out the knee armor. I'm hoping to see other styles for the ladies like cargo & maybe a vented pant for hot weather.

Good fit, true to size - Hollie   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good Fit, True to size, nice color, kevlar protection
Cons: only 1 color, can feel knee armor pockets

Overall they are very nice. The denim is a nice stretch denim with a kevlar backing. The jeans really move well with me and allow me to sit and move without binding. The 6 regular fits me good. I think they might be a little on the shorter side. I am usually between a short and a regular length. The 6 regular was just a little long, but with boots they would work just fine. The short is a little too short for me, but most shorts are.

Go 2 sizes smaller - JT   GA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Protective lining exactly where you need it.
Cons: Runs 2 sizes too large.

Wear a 12 Get an 8.Due to lining, these jeans weigh heavier than regular jeans. So if packing for trip, keep that in mind.Wore in 90 degree weather as bike passenger. Lining did NOT create any extra heat, which was a good thing.Like that the waistband is cut on a slant to give your back a little more coverage so your shirttail stays tucked in when you're leaning forward.I would definitely consider buying these Slider jeans again and have recommended them to friends.

Awesome, but huge - jyankie   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: lightweight, great protection, nice armor, lots of stretch
Cons: sized quite large, not the most fashionable color

I LOVE these pants. They're actually cut for a WOMAN'S figure, not a stick I have no gap in the waistband, even when I hunker down flat on my bike. They're great for riding in hot weather. They're very stretchy and thin, but still quite protective. Think Old Navy quality denim, not Levis. The armor is really nice and it is adjustable, which is really cool. However, these things are huge. I'm 5'2, 135 lbs, street size 6 in regular jeans, with a thick butt and hips. I ordered a size 4 other reviewers said they run one size too big. After I wear them for five minutes, they're sagging. In hindsight, I should have ordered a size 2. And trust me, I am nowhere close to a size 2. With that being said, I plan on saving these for spring and fall riding, because I could easily get a pair of leggings or thermals underneath them for added warmth.Overall, these are really great quality for a REALLY great price.

Pros: Bella Jeans are so comfy Very well made. Completely satisfied.
Cons: It took a few tries to get the right size.

Order one to two sizes smaller than usual size. This was true for me. I am 4'11 130 lbs, normally wear an 8 petite. Size 6 short Sliders Bella Jeans fit with plenty of room for an under layer if needed. Size 8 was very close to the same as 6, and the six are loose, but a size 4 was much too small The fabric difference between black and blue denim might make a difference in fit. I chose the blue and am happy with my purchase.

    Cons: not true to size

I can't wait to start riding this spring and wear these jeans So far, we've not had very nice weather yet in North Dakota so I have not worn them yet. These jeans are a good value compared to other kevlar jeans and have a nice fit to them. I have a short waist and they aren't too high or too skimpy for a woman in her 50's. I would recommend ordering at least a size down. I did but ended up ordering two sizes down, but I have been losing weight. They seem comfortable and have some stretch too them and hopefully will not stretch out too much. I hope I never have to test the kevlar but it is reassuring to know that I can ride in attractive jeans and have some protection.

    Pros: Excellent price comfortable fit
Cons: A bit scratchy in the inside knee area just fine elsewhere

Based on other reviews, I bought one size down from my normal 8 short to size 6 short. Fit is comfortably loose. I am 5'4 and 130 lbs -- not too plump and not too thin Might have gone to 4 short but was afraid it would be a bit too tight for the riding position. At age 68, comfort comes first. The material is not stiff and seems substantially better than regular jeans for road rash hope to never find out about this. The black is more dark greyblack and I like this better than true black. Fits nicely over riding boots -- rather stylish overall. Price was excellent and I definitely recommend it.

looks good, but too big - Sarah   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: more kevlar that most pants, stretchy material, pockets for knee pads
    Cons: weird sizing

I just got these jeans in the mail today and, although I probably shouldn't be too surprised, they are WAY too big, I did read all the reviews and notices that said these pants run large, and heeding those warnings, I ordered one size smaller than I thought I would need. I am 5'8 and about 215 lbs. I have thick thighs and calves, but not a particularly big booty. My waist measures about 40 - 41 inches, and the widest part of my hips are 47.5 inches. According to the size chart, I should have bought a size 16 or 18. I ordered a size 14, expecting them to be a little loose. I like to have a little wiggle room while on the bike, and I figured it would be nice to have the option to add a layer underneath, but when I put them on, there's just no way they will work. The crotch is mega baggy and I have at least an inch of space, without even utilizing the stretch of the jeans. I also noticed that the velcro in the knee padding closure was a bit scratchy. Overall, I think these jeans look good, and have a great amount of protection. They're at a nice price point, and I'm super stoked that they come in a big range of sizes. That being said, like everyone else keeps saying - SIZE DOWN a lot. I have a pair of regular jeans that are size 14, but mostly I wear a size 16. I will be re-ordering these in a size 10, and expect them to be fitting, but still a little loose.

3 years and still great - Jan T   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: protection, short length, comfort, price, price, price
    Cons: needs alteration

I've been wearing my sliders for over 3 years. At 5'1, 109 lbs, wear a size 2 petite or 2425 jeans, ordered the Sliders Bella in size 2 short. Added my own knee armor for extra protection in the adjustable pockets. I needed to sew a couple of darts on the back waistband to take it in a couple of inches. They also run one or two size larger in the hips. I could wear leggings under but since I live in Hawaii, that will never happen. Styled in traditional two front pocket that are deep enough for my entire hand to fit in, a coin pocket, and two back pockets, belt loops, sturdy metal zipper, metal rivet button closure, more of a high waist safer in a crash. The length is perfect for my height. The fabric is stretch, heavy denim. Makes getting a leg over easy. The high impact areas are lined with a yellow color soft kevlar. Very comfortable, breathes decent. Can't beat the price and fast shipping. It is such a good purchase, I'm ready to order another pair.

Good jeans - Hilray   FL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Good styling and fit
Cons: Denim a little on the thin side

Bought these jeans primarily because there was a special offer of them with knee pads. All about my pads and hate when gear does not come with them standard.Bought a size larger in 8 so I could layer Freeze-outs underneath in cold temps. I feel like a 6, my normal size, would have been perfect but not good for layers. I am 5'6, 150 lbs., 38 hips 34 waist size 6-8 depending on maker. Without the layers, the look is more loose and relaxed. These are normal women's cut straight-leg jeans, not too tight in the leg or too loose in the waist. They fit over my boot. The denim is not as thick as I would have liked but with the knee pads, kevlar, and layers I feel protected.

Ordered a size 4 long, was very concerned about fit when I pulled them out of the box. Fit was great in legs and for length when seated. Waist is very large and long, I am small and short in the waist. The pants have washed up very nice and have remained soft. I have worn them with and without leggings low 30's in the morning to mid 70's in afternoon, and are comfy either way. If I want to walk around a bunch in them I have to wear a belt or I'm constantly pulling them up. I love the large deep pockets.

Look like real jeans - Leslie G   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Look like real jeans
    Cons: Run large

I read a review on these jeans on WRN and decided to give them a try. Reviews say they run large and they sure do Order at least one size down, if not two. They also run large in the waist for me but that was solved by sewing two darts in the back of the jeans. I'm 5' 8 and ordered long length, still not long enough but the hem is generous and can be taken down, which I did. Even though I had to tailor the jeans, I'm very happy with them. Very comfy, look good and I like knowing I've got some Kevlar hidden in the jeans. If the jeans had fit out of the box I'd give them 5 stars.

Good quality but too big - Tracie R   OR Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: They are very comfortable
Cons: They are like a size larger than stated

If you normally wear a size 12, I would for sure order a size 10. These are very oversized, but are very comfortable when riding. I do find that the mesh lining that holds the knee pads are very sharp and stick you, I went through and cut all of the corners to prevent them from poking me all the time. But I would recommend them.

Bella Slider Jeans OK - Peggy Clutch   MN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Comfortable, not showy, still look good when not on the bike, stretchy. Good boot cut.
Cons: Perhaps a little TOO stretchy, sizing is terribly awry

Essentially I like these jeans. I like feeling protected while still looking like blue jeans. There are usable pockets, and the fabric is soft after a couple washings. I could wear tights or thin long underwear or bike shorts under these easily.Things to look out for1. Sizing. This TRULY stinks. I wear a women's size 16 usually, but more often men's jeans size 3630. Following the recommendation of other reviewers, I sized down to a 14. Too big, reordered a 12. Still VERY roomy, and after a couple of wears , the stretch fabric got a bit more baggy. I might try a 10 next time.... 2. Don't order these if you are totally against wearing a belt. They do sag a bit as the day goes on. 3. Be sure to wash them several times. The blue ones are a deep indigo dye, and it rubbed off onto skin and boots for a bit longer than I expected. 4. I thought the boot cut was just right - not too flappy, and nicely tight to the cowboy boots I ride in.

I'm 5'2 and weight 145. I carry my weight evenly. I usually wear a woman's 10 stretch jean. Because of the reviews I ordered a 6 regular. They fit pretty nicely. They are a little big at the top of the waist and because the jeans don't come clear up to your actually waist I will be using a belt. Next time I will order a long as I like my jeans long and these come just to the top of my boots with hardly any crease. Plan on adding a decorative bottom that should solve the length problem for me. Otherwise nice pair of riding jeans and still look good off the bike.

Really Nice - Sliders Bella Jeans   VA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Buttery soft fabric, very comfortable and looks like casual street jeans
    Cons: Wayyyy too big

Appears very well made, stitching looks solid. Kevlar in all the right places, adds a little weight but not as much as some pants I've tried. Weight will work to your advantage in wintertime and probably tolerable in all but the most humid summer places. Save yourself some time and order 1-2 sizes smaller. Seriously oversized. The fabric has stretch so don't be afraid to go 2 sizes smaller. Only real negative is on the inside the knee area are several lines of additional stitching which normally would be no problem but they used a very stiff plastic feeling thread that picks and stabs the skin. The pants are worth the little extra effort I'll make to cover that stitching. Otherwise, very happy with the pants.

Would of been a 5 star but, the waist is way to big. I have curves and not straight like a guy. So with some alterations I made the fit just right. Do love the feel and knowing I'm protected. But other than that they are great jean for riding my Gixxer.

Nice pants - Bob   VA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Fit, quality, price
    Cons: Should have armor

I'd give these 4.5 stars. My wife loved them right out of the Christmas box. She was astonished they were so comfortable. She has 44 inch hips and a 38 inch waist, and a size 12 fits her perfectly. So, yeah these run waaaaay large. The length may need taking up, but that's no biggie.Theese are better made than my Draggin' brand jeans--which cost almost twice as much . The Kevlar in the Sliders is softer, too. Having gone down wearing my Draggin' jeans, I know that the rough Kevlar will give you some rash even as it protects you from the asphalt. The Sliders are also lined, so there should be less friction on on your bod.Now about that armor. The ad says it's available separately. Good luck finding it. And from the was way the knee armor pockets if you can call them that are made, I can't see how any armor at all could be put in them. And there is no provision for hip armor. That's too bad.

They are quite high waisted and wide in the leg. A far cry from her skinny jeans. Perhaps older gals with a more mature figure will appreciate them more

Size discrepancy between colors - LilRedPony   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good fit for women with hourglass shape. They offer long length
Cons: Watch out for inconsistent sizing

Ordered my first pair of these in blue in size 10. Really big, but I kept them thinking I can layer if necessary. Ordered another blue pair in size 8 and they fit as described--relaxed, but not baggy. Saw they were on sale, so decided I could use a black pair as well. I ordered the size 8 again, in black. When they arrived, I was surprised at how much smaller they were than the blue pair in 8. I even turned both pairs inside out and laid the black pair on top of the blue size 8 to compare them--the black pair in size 8 was clearly a size smaller than the blue size 8. So, the black pair are snug, not relaxed, and I can't get the knee armor in them, but I kept them, because they actually look good fitted, too. I am 5'10, so I also appreciate the long length option. I've worn both pair quite a bit, and definitely recommend them, just be prepared to order multiple sizes for fit, or be prepared to exchange, because the sizing is not consistent.

Cons: sizes seem to run inconsistent, too short

I bought a size smaller than I normally wear after reading reviews that stated this pants ran wasn't large. In fact, it was spot on with all my other pants I'm 5'6 and weigh 128lb. Normally wear size 4 pants. Size 2 for some of the larger fitting brands like GapOld Navy Maybe they run large for the big sizes but my size 2 jeans were no bigger than all my other size 2 pants.Actually, if it weren't for the stretchelasticity, I woudn't have been able to fit into these jeans. Right now, I've got the mom jean look going cuz they're a tad tighter than I'd like. I really like that it's a timeless fit. Not skinny, not bootcut, but more like an all around timeless style of straight leg.I did not send them in for an exchange despite the size being kinda small because figure I'll lose 5 lbs and fit into them by the time fallwinter rolls around. Right now for summer weather, these are simply too warm. What I did notice was that these pants run kinda short. I don't have particularly long legs but these fit like regular jeans as far as length. I wanted them to be longer, considering they were motorcycle pants since I didn't want the hem to hit the top of my boots when i put my feet on the bike pegs.So remember, buy your normal pants size if you're ordering the smaller sizes and order a longer length. regular, if you're a petite and long if you're average sized

Pros: Extremely well made, they don't look dorky. Run big
    Cons: Run big

I really like the idea of having these jeans for hot weather. I am a rider that prefers to be in full riding gear in the event of an accident. I have seen too many friends with road rash. Now when it is really hot out I can just wear these jeans. These run big which is in my pros and cons. I love that I get to wear 2 sizes smaller than normal...but I now have to wait for the smaller size and worry they will not get here b4 my trip they are back ordered..

Bella jeans - womens - madame mim   CO Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: very comfortable. breathable, not noisy or binding
Cons: if you dont add armour sizing can be an issue.

For protective riding gear these were great. Took a four day ride and was as comfy in these as in regular Levis. The thing I really liked was having the comfort of Jeans, peace of mind with added protection and no swishing when I walked To add to that was the bonus that when I added my rain gear they kept me warmer than my Levis. If you are not going to add armour at the hips and knees you should start with 2 sizes smaller than you usually wear. I went with 1size smaller and was pulling them up whenever we were walking around. Also be sure to turn inside out and trim threads at knee pockets or they will tickle your legs. I just order another pair, this time going one more size smaller.

Great Fit - SheRides52   MT Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Comfortable
Cons: A little warm on a hot day, but better than leathers

These fit like actual jeans, not like the men's baggy version. They are a great alternative to leathers, especially in nice weather. Lightweight and unrestrictive. I don't know how much they would save you from road rash, but I'm sure they offer more protection than cotton jeans.

Liking the Sliders - Jean of Western Mass   MA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: comfortable fit, room to move but not sloppygood protection, pockets nice and big
    Cons: none

I am liking that I can feel safe in these jeans yet they are not bulky and heavy.I bought my actual size and the fit is fine, loose enough for feeling comfortable, but not stupidly sloppy looking. I bought the black and intend to get the blue also as these will be fabulous for our long trips. I especially like that these are long enough to come down over my boots and don't ride up. Thanks for such a great product

Bella Sliders are Great - Cindy   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Fit and Comfort.
Cons: Sizes aren't consistent. Takes awhile for the order to come.

I ordered a size 2 pair in black that fit very nice and are very comfortable with just the right amount of stretch. The length is perfect and I can wear them like regular jeans. I liked them so much I ordered a size 2 pair in blue. They took a little while to come and I'm slightly disappointed with this pair. They are a little too big in the waist and are a little larger overall so I will have to wear a belt. If the return shipping were free, I would send them back. I would still order them again because of the first pair being perfect.

Bella Jeans - JD   ID Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Fit well, comfy
    Cons: None yet

Really like these jeans. Had to go a couple sizes smaller than I normally wear but that's ok. They stretch and are comfortable. They look good, too

Bella women's kevlar jeans - Sandi   AZ Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great value, good workmanship, knee armor can be purchased inexpensively
Cons: Very high rise---ultra mom jeans

These are very comfortable kevlar jeans that make great riding pants but are lacking in the style arena because of an exceedingly high rise. The description indicated that the rise was higher in the back the the only way I'll wear these is with a shirt or hoodie that is not tucked in. Otherwise they are a great value, well-made, and have a lot of protection. If the next batch would be about 3 lower in the rise I'd buy up about 3-4 pair BTW, I don't have a particularly short waist. I'm 5'7 and proportionately built. I purchased a size 2 which is what I typically wear in a regular jean. The jeans were big and I'd have ordered a size 0 if it was available. So I'd recommend sizing down one size.

Women's Sliders - Duc Doc   SC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Fit well, comfortable
    Cons: Came without a button

The jeans came without a button I have read where other purchasers have also received their sliders without a waist button. This creates an you send them back and hope the replacement has a button, or do you sew one on and hope it doesn't fall off since the waist button routinely takes a bit of tension Otherwise the jeans are fine.

Comfortable protection - Mountain Mama   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Comfortable, tough, durable
Cons: Run very large, and a bit short

I love these jeans - the kevlar seemed a bit stiff out of the box, but after 1 washing it softened-up very nicely. Even on a late August ride through Monument Valley Utah, they were not too hot -- amazing for heavy, sturdy denim with protective panels. The biggest problem is the size. I usually wear a size 12 without room to spare, so I ordered a 12 to be sure they were roomy enough. Well, they are huge, and I had to wear a belt to keep them from literally falling off. Also, the average inseam is a bit short for riding -- it's perfect for standing around, but too short in riding position, which leaves the ankle exposed. So I suggest ordering a size smaller than you usually wear, and order a long inseam if you want better leg coverage while riding.

Very Comfortable Jeans - IzzyBear   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: [None]
    Cons: [None]

I loved how these fit, I love the length and how incredibly soft they are inside. When I'm sitting on my cruiser I don't have any discomfort and a belt helps at the waist for the little bit of looseness but that's because I needed a size to fit my behind. Follow other reviews about the sizing. I really LOVE these jeans. They do get a little wrinkled after going through the wash, but hanging up or smoothing them out as soon as you get them out of the dryer takes care of it. I feel safer riding, and comfortable enough to walk around

Cut for a man, but good quality - Patricia G.   KY Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: I'm tall and these were nice and long.
Cons: The cut is for a man--low waist and not cut in as women's jeans are. But a belt fixes that. The button fell off. It's a stud, so I superglued it on. The kevlar gets itchy and uncomfortable in the butt area after only a few minutes.

I've always worn heavy duty riding pants padded, etc, but decided I wanted something for commuting and shorter rides. I'm satisfied with them and wore them on a 6 day trip due to hot weather. The manufacturers should consider cutting the waist for a woman's proportions and putting a better button on it. These are good protective jeans if road rash is your concern, and they look like regular jeans. I deducted a star for the waist and the button. Otherwise, they're worth the price.

Best so far - Brandi   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Sturdy, fits reasonably well
    Cons: Sizing is quite odd

I'm a larger woman. I usually wear a size 14. Most jeans I've tried were scaled down men's sizes, or perhaps designed for a tiny woman with no thighs or butt. While I'd rather that these had more in back, these pants cover most day-to-day tasks with the aid of a belt. If I had a sport bike, there would be some serious crack issues. Fortunately, I ride a scooter so I don't strain the coverage of these pants past their ability. They tried a little too hard to make sure the jeans were comfortable on the bike. I had to buy the pants two sizes down - size 10 instead of my normal 14. If I had a different riding position, I might want just one size down instead of two, but they're still greatly over-sized vs the norm. I wear the jeans to work, so the pants need to fit all day rather than good enough for an hour or two at the bar. The knee armor pockets are terrible. It takes several tries to get the velcro to line up such that it's not poking through, and just isn't worth the effort to redo after washing. Plus, the armor completely ruins the casual look as soon as you get off of the bike. Instead, I use a pair of Icon Stryker greaves over the jeans - takes 10 seconds to put on, and just take them off when you reach your destination. The oddities are easy enough to ignore or correct, and these actually go on over my thighs unlike everything else I've tried. I bought a couple pairs. Would give 5 stars if they had just a little more butt and a larger strike zone of the soft side of the velcro.

kevlar pants - cdusty   NM Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: lightweight, comfortable, well-made, nice-looking
Cons: only go to size 18, large size only comes in blue

I ordered these with fingers crossed they would fit. When they came in, they were a bit snug - could have used one size larger, but otherwise they are wonderful. Beats wearing chaps when riding in 100 degree weather. It would be really nice if these came in larger sizes and the larger sizes came in black as well as denim. The price is reasonable for protective jeans - and they look good I would buy another pair if they came in size 20.

Sliders Bella Womens Motorcycle Riding Jeans with Kevlar - Mary   KS Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: soft and look like regular jeans.
    Cons: [None]

hopefully never have to test how they work in an accident. But I like them. Everyone thinks I am wearing regular jeans. they are a little heavier because of the kevlar. I bought down a size after reading reviews but they were too tight. Returned for my regular size and although they are a little large around the waist, with a belt they are fine.

Worth Every Penny - JLR   NJ Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Soft, comfortable, warm on slighly chilly nights, able to wear heated gear underneath, good fit in thighs and legs, perfect length
    Cons: [None]

I am 5'4 and 175 lbs. I bought a size 16 which is my normal size and had to make two little tucks in the back waistband for the waist to fit without gapping. This was not a big deal as the legs on these jeans fit perfectT I found that when ordering other kevlar jeans purchased a size to fit my waist, the legs were huge and etremely unflattering. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Kevlar pants - Jim McClain   OH Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Look pretty good and protect you assets.
Cons: Run large and a bit Baggie.

Got them after a bit of a wait but they looked pretty good. They are however Baggie and not the fit that I thought. They will save your ass if you go down.

Great basic jeans with lots of protection - Katie   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: thick denim, lots of Kevlar, adjustable pockets for knee armor, comes in 3 lengths
Cons: relaxed fit sizes a bit big

The price is right and I feel well protected in these kevlar jeans, they are also comfortable for riding. The fit is loose. LOVE that they come in different lengths, I am too lazy for alterations. The pockets for knee armor are great and they let you adjust the position for the right fit.

Women's gear - Lynnielama   CO Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Comfortable and sturdy
Cons: not cut for a womens curves

This is the second pair I've owned. My husband bouhght a pair and they fit him like they were made for him. With both pairs I've gotten I have had to get 2 sizes smaller than I wear to get a somewhat decent fit - even if adding armour. They are cut like men's jeans in other words straight - no curve for a woman It is frustrating trying to find women's kevlar jeans in the first place and then when they are cut for a man it's even more so.That being said, as long as I get the smaller size they fit adequately, wear well and are comfortable. I would recommend them to other women with the size clarification.

Women's Sliders - Judy   WA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Good quality and comfortable
    Cons: Sizes run big

Good product. Ordered my normal size and it was way too big. Returned them 15 postage and tried to order the next size smaller and they were not available for 2 months Poor planning on purchasing department. Have had this problem in the past with some of their clothing. Bottom line very good product lousy delivery times.

just ok - LillyG   MA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: they have some kevlar
Cons: NOT cut for a woman. HUGE gap in the waist in the back, reminds me of the days before jeans were cut for a woman, I even double checked because I thought I had received men's by midtake. I'll wear them on the bike but I can't walk around with these unless I wear a belt or sew the back. Disappointed.

I'll continue my quest for jeans that are actually cut for women. Guess I'll just have to shell out more .

quality - amelia   IL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Made of good quality, heavy denim
    Cons: Doesn't fit properly

Though I was excited receiving these jeans, I am disappointed that they don't fit properly. They are heavy quality material, with the Kevlar inside, which is what I wanted. Material color was good, the regular length was good for my 5'4 frame. Price was reasonable, considering similar products. Shipping was reasonable. The stretchiness of the material was good in a way, in another, it made the jeans stretch considerably after a 1 time use. Making them even larger & wanting to fall off, having to constantly pull them up.Like many clothing products, these are made in an Asian country. Thus, they do not fit an American woman's body. They would fit a fence post just fine straight up & down. If you have any curves at all, you may want to reconsider these.

nice quality but too long - karen   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Quality is good
Cons: Wish they were a little lower, feel like mom jeans

I am returning these because the length is too long. I called because I was confused with the length listings. He told me a tall is 32, I think its more like 34 so I am going to exchange these for a average length. The quality is good, but they are a little too high kind of like mom jeans...but Ill exchange them. I have tried several different riding jeans and cant seem to find any that are mid rise .

L means average - Beth   Recommended by Reviewer: No
    Pros: Feel comfortable
Cons: Length is far from long. I would recommend them for women 5'6 and shorter

I was really hoping the length on these would be longer. I'm 5'8 and a solid size 4, but a lot of leg. I thought just maybe the 32 would work, but to get them to go past my shorty boot top, the crotch hangs down a good 6 inches. I did try them on and sat on my bike. They are very soft and move easily. I thought the Kevlar protection was nice, but after one washing, they'll be capris. Wish a manufacturer would understand that LONG does not mean 32 - How about getting us an X-Long in 34 I'd exchange them for men's 28 x 34's, but they don't make them either. Sending them back.

Too Tricky to Fit - MaximusRide   OR Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Excellent Quality, Price
    Cons: Very tricky to fit

I bought the same pair of Bella Sliders three times - a 14, a 16, and an 18.I generally wear women's 14 in jeans, but going by the sizing chart for these, my waist measure put me into an 18, so that's the size I bought the first time. I learned immediately, however, that when others have reviewed these jeans as really large, they were right. The 18s I bought were HUGE In fact, they were so big, I returned them for a pair two sizes smaller. I got the 14s and had to hold my breath to button them up... Too small Back they went again, and this time I opted for the in between size 16. Unfortunately, after trying on pair number three, I was terribly disappointed. Like the size 18s, these were also much too large. It seems that I must somehow fit between a 14 and a 16, but of course Bella Sliders don't come in a size 15I decided to hang on to the 16s even though I have to belt them very tightly indeed to keep them up. The actual quality of the jeans is very nice. They aren't bulky, the material is a very nice weight, the color I got was a good blue, and the tall length was a perfect fit for my height I'm 5'10. My only negative with the quality is the flimsy netting used for the knee armor pocket. If I had been able to get the jeans to fit me properly, I would have purchased several more pair. As it is, I'll stick with just the one pair and hope to find a better fit with another styledesigner some other time.Despite my fitting issues, I'd still recommend the jeans for their quality If, like me, your figure isn't terribly curvy I don't have much in the way of hips, then these jeans may not be the best fit for you.

Sizing is an issue - Fran   NC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: First and foremost, the service I received from Competition Accessories was outstanding. It was greatly appreciated. Jeans are very good quality.
    Cons: Fit

I wear a size 14-16 in womens. Based on the reviews that stated the jeans ran large, I ordered a size 14. The size 14 fit like a second skin. I could zip them, but would not have been comfortable riding in them. I returned them for a size 16 and those fall off of me unless a wear a belt to keep them up. Had to go with the bigger pants for comfort and safety, but certainly not for looks.

Need odd sizes - Archangel   CO Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: High Quality and well made
Cons: Need odd sizes 7,9, etc

Returned both pairs since the size 10 were way too big or and the size 8's way too small. Too bad since the pants seemed real nice.

Better than regular jeans, but not a substitute for real riding pants - Ryan   Recommended by Reviewer: No
Pros: soft fabric, large Kevlar area, accepts knee armor, stretchy, better protection than normal jeans
Cons: mom jeans look, basic blue jean wash, cotton fabric grips seat and rides up, not a replacement for real riding pants

I purchased the Sliders Bella riding jeans and accompanying knee armor as a low-cost replacement for the regular jeans I have been wearing while riding. I was looking for a casual riding pant that would protect me, but also be acceptable to wear for a quick ride to dinner or to meet friends.Since I purchased the Sliders jeans, I also bought a new sport bike with a micro suede seat. The grippy seat fabric causes the jeans' cotton fabric to ride up and I am constantly re-adjusting the knee armor and pulling down the leg of the jean over my boot. This is a big concern as the knee armor is frequently not protecting my knee, thus is completely ineffective. In addition, the pant leg barely fits over my boots Puma and is too large to tuck in.Off the bike, the Sliders Bella jeans do me few favors. The jeans are a heavy blue wash think original blue jeans color and big all around think huge Mom jeans butt. Though I understand the jeans are higher in the back to give extra coverage while riding, the huge behind it gives me is a little embarrassing. The massive front pockets are the small silver lining. Do Sliders Bella jeans offer more protection than regular fashion jeans Yes. Should you save the 80 and put it toward purchasing a real riding pant Yes.

Not a curvy fit - Alison   MD Recommended by Reviewer: No
    Pros: well made
    Cons: poor fit

I am 5'4, 130 lbs and normally wear a size 10 or 12 curvy jean. I was hoping the Sliders would fit so that I could put knee armor directly into the pants rather than wearing separate knee armor under my jeans like I do now. Unfortunately, although the hips fit fine, the waist was about 6 inches too big. I was unsure how to choose the stars because there didn't seem to be any construction quality issues, they just didn't fit me. Competition Accessories promptly refunded my money when I returned the jeans.

Not sized correctly - MSgtK   VA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Soft
    Cons: Size 18 is a w 26 at least

Call the company before ordering and make them measure the waist before ordering. I am a 22 but the 18 was entirely too big in the waist and hips. Fit in the thighs and legs though. I bought the blue ones

Bad sizing - Ungaba   Recommended by Reviewer: No
    Pros: Good material
    Cons: Bad sizing

I ordered these in an 8 long - the length was perfect, but the waist was too big. So I exchanged them for a 6 long. Waist was perfect, but the length was a good inch and a half shorter, making them unwearable. A size long should have a 33 or 34 inch inseam, no matter what the waist size. The only saving grace to these jeans is that they have a large hem, so I was able to let them down...but what a pain.On the upside, Competition Accessories has been great to work with. I'd order from them again, but probably not this brand of apparel.

Quality Not Equal, No Protection Assumed - Regular CIty Commuter   Recommended by Reviewer: No
Pros: Fits in waist and thighs and has good length
    Cons: Doesn't feel like protection

My husband and I each ordered a pair of Sliders his -n- hers. I was a taken aback by how thin mine were but they did have a place for my knee armor and the length was good, so I wore them for a three-mile ride. The legs bunched up at the knee so the seam was a hard knot between me and the tank--painful after a few blocks. Later I picked up my husband's Men's Sliders and couldn't believe how much heavier they were than mine we're basically the same sized people, so the pants should weigh about the same, right. His are made of heavy denim mine are about the same as a pair of Lee Jeans. His Kevlar feels like it might offer slide protection mine feels like triple-thick bathing suit polyester very stretchy and mesh-like and I assume that in a slide it will melt. My advice--order the men's version of the product and alter it

Bag City - Wingleader   Recommended by Reviewer: No
    Pros: protection without geekoidness

Product has some pluses but styles have changed and baggy or relaxed fit it not cool. And no, they do not have to be baggy to be comfortable in the biking positions. Almost everyone I ride with feels the same way. In fact, many of us end up spending bucks to have them modified. We keep hoping the manufacturers with wise up, and we also keep hoping that the retailers will tell them to wise up.

Jean Fit - CHLNC   MI Recommended by Reviewer: No
Pros: Appear to have been well made
Cons: Cut for a man's figure

I didn't keep these pants. Just like Irish Spring soap - these were made for a man. They were not designed for a woman's figure - straight from the hips up, with no reduction for waist measurement. While they appear to have been well made, and the price was great, I would never have worn them because they didn't fit. As such, I returned them.

Poor Workmanship - Nikkio   OH Recommended by Reviewer: No
Pros: The pockets for the knee armor were well done.
Cons: Chintzy materials and they were poorly sewn.

Right out of the package I could see one leg hemmed shorter than the other. The hems themselves were uneven. The stretch denim material was flimsy. I have stretch denim Wranglers with heavier material. The Kevlar material was also flimsy, it reminded me of cheap flannel. For a pair of Motorcycle Riding Jeans these don't offer any more protection than my Wranglers at half the price. The waist band was too big for the top of the jeans. The seamstress who made the waist band fit on these jeans should get an award as there was no buckling in the seam. However, because the waist band was too big the jeans would not stay up especially in the riding position. The pockets for the armor were well done and well placed. Except for the waist, the fit was good. I returned these.
