Information and Details about the Sliders All Season 2 Motorcycle Pants
made by Sliders
Sliders All-Season 2 Mesh pants are a great solution for all-weather riding. The external shell of the pants is made with a moto-ballistic mesh, allowing air to pass right through, resulting in a comfortable ride even through those hot summer months. Inside the Sliders All Season 2 pants is a two stage liner system. The first stage is a windproof barrier, which is great at effectively blocking the wind in cooler conditions. Getting really cold out? Install the quilted thermal liner in conjunction with the waterproof liner, and the Sliders All Season 2 pants will keep you nice and warm. Available in short, regular, and tall lengths, we are sure to have a pair that will fit you great.

The Sliders All-Season Pants also feature a ton of adjustments. They have waist stretch panels and waist adjustment belts, and height adjustable knee armor for a custom fit. For protection, Sliders Aramid gear uses 100% genuine Aramid over the critical impact areas in the knees, hips, and seat of the pants. Aramid is weight for weight five times stronger than steel and a must in high performance applications from spacecraft to automobiles, from skis to motorcycle apparel, boots and gloves. With height adjustable CE rated knee armor and foam hip pads for impact protection, the Sliders Gear All-Season pants are a bargain, and available exclusively at Competition Accessories. Be sure to check out the Sliders All-Season 2 Jacket for the full setup.

Note: The wind/waterproof liner is not full coverage as there is an opening in the fly area. As a result it is not 100% waterproof.

all season pants - mike   CT Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: fit
    Cons: [None]

At 5'6 these fit me well . Anxious to try them out this spring

Fantastic Pants - Martha   NC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Great airflow, very comfortable.
Cons: Little snug with all the liners

I bought these pants because I was tired of changing twice a day as a commuter. They are wonderful overpants. The multiple inseam lengths is a breath of fresh air since motorcycle manufacturers seem to think that all women are one height. They were extremely comfortable out of the box and I could not be happier with this product. Amazing bang for the buck

Great for hot weather - Dale   WA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Easy to get on and off
Cons: can get sweaty with liner in

I purchased these pants after the vent zipper on my previous Sliders pants quit working. The first pair I ordered was a small since I wear 32 waist jeans. They were too tight over my jeans. I returned them and ordered medium and all was good. Compacc got them to me just in time for my 10-day riding trip on the Idaho Backcountry Discovery Route. I used these pants in temps between 40-105F wearing quick dry convertible pants underneath. They performed awesome When temperatures got hot the ventilation kept me much more comfortable than my previous non-mesh pants. With the liner in riding in lower temps was better. I didn't use the quilted liner. The liners cut the wind down but don't breathe at all. You will need to remove the pants to put in or take out the liner but it is possible to do so without removing your boots. The pockets are mesh too so don't leave anything you don't want exposed to the elements in them. Not sure how convenient it will be during the winter months with all the side zips using both liners. Overall a well made product for a great price

Excellent Value - Fireball   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Easy to take on and off
    Cons: none

I am 6' 4' 225 lbs and normally wear 38 waist Levi's. The Sliders I bought with a 40 waist fit perfectly over my pants. Easy to take on and off, they're like having a jacket for your legs. The extra liners accommodate all weather conditions. They do not seem to hinder my movement on the motorcycle and can soon forget you're wearing them. I ride a BMW RT-1200 with no Chicken Strips.

Great Product didn't fit me - Doug   OH Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: excellent value, hassle free service on trying them for size
    Cons: none

excellent value - great product for the price. Although I didn't ride with them, just trying them on it was obvious the mesh flows a good amount of air and the liners would make the pants suitable for a wide variety of weather conditions. While I have only had one unplanned dismount in my 33 years of riding, I have no doubts they would protect a rider well too. I am 59 years old and wear either a 40x34 or 42x34 relaxed fit jean, depending on the manufacturer. I intend to wear the pants over my jeans or shorts. The sizing information at the website and product reviews were much appreciated and pretty accurate because of the hassle free returns policy at CA, I thought I would try the XL tall and 2XL tall. Length was good, but both sizes were too snug for my body around the waist with the liners in and the rise was a little shorter than I would prefer. 30 years ago they would have fit me well - Unfortunately, at the time I ordered, they were out of stock in 3XL tall so I returned both pairs and ordered a larger size of the Fieldsheer High Temp Mesh that were on closeout sale. The Fieldsheer did not have the insulated liner but I am not sure how much I would use it anyway. The free shipping and hassle free returns policy made the whole purchase experience as pleasant as possible . I am very satisfied and will definitely buy gear from CA again.

Sliders All Season 2 Motorcycle Pants - John   MA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Great in cold weather
    Cons: None so far

I live in Massachusetts, so I was looking for something that could change with the weather here.If you know the area, weather, changes constantly. I used these the first time the other day, 37 degrees. actual outside temp. This pant worked awesome. I went from city to expressway then to country roads speeds 35 to 75. The cold and wind chill is no match for these pants. Kept me warm and comfortable throughout my 2 hour plus ride. Sizing. I'm 5' 10 230 pounds. My normal pant size is 36 waist 31 length. I ordered large regular 38 waist 32 length. They fit perfect. With the quilted liner they are snug. Not uncomfortable more like that special someone wrapped around you snug. I am using these as over pants. Hope this helps someone with sizing. These pants are easy on and off with the full length zippers. Not that I'm a zipper expert but these seem to be of high quality. Velcro closure's hold very well both on the legs and on the waist. Would I recommend these to a friend I already have

Sliders All Season 2 Pants - Tom   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Accurate sizing, very comfortable considering protection
    Cons: None yet, too new.

These pants seem to work well to avoid having to buy multiple pants for each season, . They are very durable with good protection and a comfortable fit. Zippers are robust and belt adjustments are sturdy. I've only got a couple hundred miles on them but I'm impressed so far and they will be going on my Spring tour soon.

Shoulda ordered these years ago - Fivespeed302   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Everything I expected and more
    Cons: None

For starters, I can't believe they are able to make and sell these pants at this price. Sure they aren't cheap, but I would expect something this well made to cost even more. I'm in Florida, so it doesn't really get below freezing, but when you are used to 90 - 80 degree weather all the time, 50 feels really cold. Wearing a regular pair of jeans under the two liners kept my legs nice and toasty, with no hint of cold air seeping in. Another thing that is fantastic is that everything has high quality zippers all the way up both sides, which allows you to easily get out of them without taking your boots off. I recommend these pants to anyone who rides. You won't regret it. Go ahead and get the matching jacket too. It is just as good. I almost never wear my leather one anymore.

newbe - newbe   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: [None]
Cons: If you are going to wear pants under the motorcycle pants go 1 size bigger

Love these pants. I'm 5'10 200 pounds and ordered Large. I usually just wear gym shorts under the pants and have no issues with the quality of the pants.Excellent value and they really keep you warm from 30-40 degress.

Versatile pants. These will do it all. - MaconTrax   GA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Versatile. Rain, cold, heat. They do it all
    Cons: [None]

I was originally searching for a good rain pant and these came recommended by Competition Accessories because of their versatility. It was Monday and we were leaving the same weekend for an end-to-end run up the Blue Ridge Parkway after a week of heavy rain through the area. I was pleasantly surprised to have the pants in two days. I was concerned they wouldn't arrive before we left. Sizing on the pants was true. That's the good and the bad. If you want to wear these as an overpant, then definitely size up. These fit perfectly but I had to commit to wearing just these over a pair of boxers or athletic shorts. No way to wear them over a pair of jeans or other pants. I found them to be very comfortable. Side zippers let you really open the legs up for easy entry and exit. There were also panels that you could open to allow airflow. NICE There were two liners included. An insulating liner and a rain liner. You could use one or both. I thought they were a bit bulky with both liners but I never needed the rain liner and the insulating liner the same day. One morning we left with temperatures in the low 40s. I used the insulating liner and I was very toasty. By mid day temps were in the low 60s and I had to take it out. The liner is a bit bulky so it took up a fair amount of packing space but I'm glad I had it. The knee pads were adjustable and the kevlar seemed to be in all the right places. I don't plan on testing it. I'll leave that to someone else but it's nice to know there's some protection there. If youwant a good versatile pair of riding pants without spending a fortune, these are the ones. I also have the Sliders 4.0 Cargo pants. I'll probably never wear those again now that I have these but I am interested in giving the Sliders Tactical Pants a try.

Summer Pants - Qdog002   NY Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Really a 3 season pant, armor, kevlar, rain & thermal liner, full length zippers all around
Cons: A little heavy with all liners in. Zipper for jacket attachment is make specific.

I bought these as a stand alone pant for the summer and really like them. They work well for this. There is enough room with the liners out to wear a pair of shorts underneath if you want to discard them when you reach your destination. If you want to wear these as an overpant then order at least one size up. Like any mesh garment, airflow is good while moving. Armor is okay and upgradable. Kevlar is a big plus I purchase these at the end of the riding season during a flash sale and very happy with them. Have not had a chance to test out the rain liner yet. I will edit this review once we get into the summer of 2016.

Great Pants - Ron   TN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: quality construction, size adaptability, year-round service, price
    Cons: heavy

Accurate sizing, performance as advertised, good looking. Definitely recommend to others.

Finally - ErnieP   LA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Long enough to go over any boot and stay down
Cons: Sizing just a tad large.

Bought these pants for the length and 4 season riding ability. Find it very hard to get good riding pants that are long enough for a 34 inseam. These pants fit that bill They are plenty long enough to go over my Alpine River Road boots and stay down and even fit nicely over my cowboy boots as well. They come with both a rain barrier and a quilted layer for warmth so any combination weather can be handled. Only con so far is the waist size is a tad on large size. I ordered the large which is suppose to be for a range of 34 to 36 as I normally wear a 34 in jeans. These pants are more like a 35 to 37 but there is plenty of adjustment in the side pulls to make them a snugger fit. Great if your into a looser fit or like to wear pants underneath them. The color is not what I would call a silver but more to the white which is not a big deal for me. Was able to catch them on sale here which made them a great deal.

Sliders 2 All Weather - Richard   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Fit perfectly over work pants. Warm. Look great.
    Cons: None

I am 6'3 and have a 34 waist. I ordered the large 3436 Tall. They fit perfect over my work pants. I took off my work pants and with the adjustable velcro sides I can wear them alone also. They will make it possible for me to ride to work all winter and stay warm and dry. Thanks Competition Accessories for the fast shipment and the great product.

Great Buy - SoCal Rider   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Function and Fit
    Cons: None So Far

Received these pants earlier this year. I've put on over 1K commuting miles with these over my work slacks. Offers peace of mind with the added safety functions these pants provide. These have been worn from temps ranging from high 50's to low 80's with just my slacks and have provided both warmth and cooling ability without the other 2 liners. Nice having the kevlar lining in addition to the CE knee armor and foam hip padding. Hope to never put them to test. I wear 36-38 waist pants with 29-30 inseam, and the size LargeReg works just fine over my slacks with the appropriate length coverage in the riding position Ninja 600. Highly Recommended

Great Pants - kenack   FL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great mesh with the confidence of Kevlar
    Cons: none

I like them much better than my Olympia air pants and my BMW pants. I will upgrade the hip armor soon though.

Nice Riding Pants - Rickrides   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Nice features well made decent protection adaptable for conditions. Good price.
Cons: Main fly zipper frequently gets stuck on material around fly.

I bought these pants for my wife and myself to replace very similar Cortech riding pants. I like the versatility of the two liners. I have not tried them in hot weather so far but the mesh promises to flow decent air. Nice pockets and the zippers have long pulls so they are easy to find and grasp. The zip at the bottom makes for ease of putting them on over boots.Sizing is very accurate. Waist is adjustable. I went for a long to make sure they cover the top of my boots.

Awesome Pants - ECO   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Price, knee armor is adjustable, good in most weather.
Cons: long could still be a little longer.

I am 6'2 190 lb with an athletic build. I wear 33-36 jeans. I got these in a medium long. Size was perfect, I can just fit them over my work pants to commute in, but they are not too lose if I wear them by them self. I had to drop the knee armor to the lowest spot, and it is JUST low enough. It could probably stand a little lower, but this is better than any other pants I have put on. With most over-pants, when I get on my bike the knee armor ends up well above my knee. The liners work really well. Even when its cold I normally only use the thermal liner and leave the windrain liner out unless its going to be wet. Really good deal, I'm happy with them, and feel much safer on my way tofrom work.

First riding pants - VBRider   VA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Price, quality, versatility
    Cons: Adjustability at ankle

This is my first pair of motorcycle riding pants and I've just had a couple of rides in them so I can't comment on long term durability and how they perform me in a range of temperatures. 40-50 degrees with rain liner and a pair of jeans was very comfy. My objectives were for a pant system to provide safety, allow me to wear them over business pants, and effective in a broad temperature range. I want something I'm happy wearing all the time. I think this will fit the bill. Quality seems good. Zippers seem strong. I like how the layers work. Long side zippers are good. Armor good. Ventilation seems good with the mesh. I tried on Tourmaster Flex and these seem pretty comparable for 40 less. They are pretty heavy and a little loose fitting but that's kind of the nature with all of the layers. My only concern is the length. I'm 5'6 with a 29 inseam so I ordered the Short which has a 30 inseam. These tend to ride up just a bit too much when I'm in the riding position on my BMW R1150R. With taller boots, probably not an issue. Rather than exchanging, I decided I would add an small extension myself using some Cordura I have around from another project. This will also allow me to tighten it down a little more around the ankle. Overall, happy with the pants and service from Competition Accessories.

Worth more than the price - Tig   WA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Easy to put on, take off, actually water proof
    Cons: Sizing, length.

Finally got a nice cold, wet day to try these out, and I was not disappointed. These pants held up well in 45 degree F weather with freezing rain. These pants come with 3 stages. The outermost shell is a tough mesh made for warm weather riding. The middle shell is a waterproof shell, and the inner shell is for cold weather.Starting with the inner liner Con They are too long. The bottom sticks out farther than the waterproof shell so the bottom cuff gets wet. Pro Did not feel the cold of a 45 degree day on the highway. Pro outweighs the con.Middle liner is waterproof. Con The velcro cover of the zipper actually velcros forward for some reason. It would be easy for water to get into the zipper area I haven't tried them in a downpour yet to see if this is an issue. Pro They really are waterproof.Outer shell. Con Kind of heavy. Pro Kind of heavy . They have front pockets, but no back pockets. CE armor comes with them a nice plus. Overall These pants are heavy, but nice. If you wear all three stages expect to get warm when you are not on the bike riding. The zippers are large and seem heavy duty. Overall con If you want to wear the 3 stages over regular pants you need to buy at least 1 size larger than you would normally. This also makes the outer shell large and baggy when worn alone.Since these pants cost less than other brands just sell the waterproof section for, they are well worth the price.

pants - jkpsc   CO Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: The pants have 2 liners, a thermal liner and a water proof liner.
    Cons: [None]

I have ridden in 35 degree weather with the thermal liner and stayed warm. These are the best pants I have ever ridden with and would highly recommend them.

More tHan expected - Bliz   OH Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: High quality many features true to size fit
    Cons: Inner liner

I've owned many different brands of riding pants. All have cost more than these. None of these other brands have better quality or more features than these Sliders pants. Only slight negative is I wish the inner liner had a waist snap so you wouldn't have to zip it to the outer pant every time you used it. Overall excellent value and quality. Highly recommend.

Great Gear - For Avoiding Road Rash - duntz   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: They're awesome
Cons: Gotta buy another pair after wrecking.

I laid my bike down while wearing these pants over shorts. Yeah, I was stupid, but lucky that I had these pants on. From my waist down, they saved me from road rash. Love the side zippers that go all the way up the legs. Very easy to put on over boots and pants. Love the two additional layers that can be attached separately or together, rain and insulation. But mostly, I love that it was awesome protection from landing on and sliding down the asphalt. Don't wish it on anybody, but you never know when you'll need the protection these pants offer. The mesh was great for the hot Texas Summer, as long as movement was involved. Red lights suck The outer mesh was not immune to road rash. That's why I gotta get another pair as soon as I repair my bike's plastics.

Sliders All Season 2 - glpy   FL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Fit well, pleased with the different layer possibilities
    Cons: None

Pants fit well, are easy to get on and off because of the long zippered legs. With the liners out cool enough for Florida late summer.

justmills - Justmills   MI Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great pants especially for the price. Quality outstanding
Cons: A little bulky when wearing all layers

Purchased for my daughter for a trip to finger lakes area. Had rain and lots and also great riding weather. She just loved them and they worked in all elements except snow.

Great PantsGreat Value - Blue Ridge Rider Rick   VA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Quality materials used and good workmanship manufacturing, kevlar protection
Cons: Light color might show road grime quicker than a darker color. But not a big deal if the pants are easy to clean.

I was blown away by the top notch quality of these pants especially considering the price and free shipping. Having a short option was also a nice extra as was the incredibly fast shipping turnaround. I continue to be impressed with the value and service from C.A.

Crash Report & Review - Oliver   MI Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Held up extremely well in a crash. Easy to put ontake off. Comfortable with good air flow. Heavy-duty clasp at waist.
Cons: Slightly inconvenient to put in rain liner. Zippers don't come all the way to ankles.

First things first. Crash Protection. I went down at about 40 mph on the road. Left side took the impact. As far as what the pants protected, I ended up with a bruise on my hip. The rest of my lower body was extremely well protected and preserved. Not an ounce of road rash to be found below the waist. Based on that alone, I'll be ordering a new pair of these pants. The armor in the hip kept by bruise from being much worse, the pads in the knees completely prevented any injury there I tumbled after going down, and the Kevlar lining saved my skin The pants were torn up, definitely not re-usable. I am convinced that they kept me out of the hospital for skin grafts. I had a competitor's version of similar pants that had the zippers in both legs fail after a fair amount of use. I thought I would like the heavy duty zippers on these, and was not disappointed. They are easier to operate, although I'd prefer they go all the way to the ankle. Rain liners were not used extensively, but the zippers on those while a finer tooth go all the way to the hip as well. These tall zippers make it so much easier to put the pants on while wearing riding boots. On the subject of zippers, these pants have pulls at both the top and the bottom, so you can access your under-layers' pockets very easily. They flow air very well, and are a near-perfect solution to commuting to work on a motorcycle. Protection and convenience bundled together. I wear dress pants on a regular basis and get to work cool and wrinkle and bug free in the Summer.Overall, I recommend these pants for anyone who commutes on a motorcycle. They provide protection in a package that doesn't make it difficult to gear up so you're more likely to have it when you need it.

Crash-Tested - Oliver   MI Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Held up well in a crash Comfortable, Great air flow. Dual-pull zippers.
Cons: Zippers stop short of bottom of leg.

My old mesh pants had worn out, so I purchased a pair of the Sliders before a recent trip. I took a spill low-side and managed to test out the pants in a real-world scenario. I truly believe that the pants saved me a trip to the hospital. The Kevlar was torn in a few places, and the pants themselves were pretty trashed certainly not usable any more. I've often heard that textile gear is one-crash stuff, and now I understand why. Everything stayed put, and the armor protected my knees well. I have a bruise on my hip, but I'm not surprised considering I hit the ground and something around 40 mph. Here's the damage httpi.imgur.comO4aYuVs.jpgWhile I only had them for a week, I found them comfortable. Spent 8 straight hours on the bike with the un-damaged pants and never thought about them. This was in addition to several days of commuting. I love the dual-pull zippers that allow access to my regular pants' pockets without having to un-do the waist. The leg zippers are heavy-duty with large teeth that are easy to pull up and down. They stay put, though, and I never felt that there was any risk of them coming un-done when riding. There is a flap under the main zipper that might make it difficult for some to use the bathroom. I also would prefer it if the zippers went all the way to the bottom of the leg. The zippers stop a few inches above the hem, and the bottom of the pants close with velcro.I'll be buying another pair to replace those that were destroyed in the crash.

Great pants - Rob D   KY Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: The adjustability of the fit, the light color stays cooler in the sun, the zippers and velcro are substantial, nice pockets, good ventilation
Cons: Not many - I guess I would like the front pockets were a bit deeper.

I have worn these pants about a dozen times now. So I haven't had them a long time and cannot comment on long term wear. But I like these a great deal. Easy to get on and off, long zippers are great, everything on the pants seems high quality. I recommend these. Great value .

SIZE MATTERS - KENTUCKY DOUG   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes

Love these pants - Colby   ID Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: All season ready, great for all riding temps, great protection, nice fit
    Cons: [None]

These are my first textile pants. I've only ever rode in jeans or leather chaps before. After wanting to do some cool weather riding and trips, I knew I needed some better protection not only from the road, but also the cooler weather. These provide both, but allow me to keep the protection when the temps gets hot. I love that I have 2 levels of layers that I can remove, the thermal and the waterproof. Unless I'm riding a long trip in 40-50 degree weather, I probably won't use the thermal liners much. But for that type of weather, it's a blessing to have them. With just the waterproof liners in, I get the benefit of keeping dry and keeping the wind from cutting through. This keeps me semi warm on those cooler rides, but not too warm. I also happened upon one of those cloud burst rain storms the other day, the worst I've ever been in. I thought for sure they wouldn't keep all that water out, but they did. Amazing, but I was only in it for about 15 minutes. However, given the way that the rain liner is a bit open at the crotch behind the zipper I'm not sure they would hold it out on an extended ride, but I haven't tested them yet. Concerning the fit, I'm a 3434 in all the jeans I buy. I got the large-long size and they fit great. I have room enough to wear jeans under them without being uncomfortable, if I don't have the thermal liner in. The length is perfect while I'm riding, and a little long when I'm off the bike standing, but that's what I would expect. Overall, I don't think you can beat the quality for the price.

Do their job - astewart4242   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Fit well, flow air great
    Cons: Could look better

These pants are great. They flow air, have zipper pockets, and unzip all the way up the leg to make getting them onoff easier over pants and shoes. The protection seems first rate, pads and armor in all the right places. I ordered one size up to wear over pants. With the liners in, I don't see pants fitting over, but if you expect to use the liners that often, you could always order a few sizes up. They look just like in the picture, not the most stylish, but you can still see through the stitching and features that it is high quality. Great price, and great protection

Very nice pants - Ranman   IL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Good protection
Cons: Liners don't fit well, fit is sloppy around boots.

I wear 34-34 jeans and ordered the tall large. The fit is good, glad I got the tall. They do ride up a bit as there is no way to get them closed tight around your boots and keep them there. The hook and loop lowers are just awful. There is no way to make them secure around your boots and keep them there. After about 3 good pulls the hook and loop is gone. If you ride a bike with forward controls you will get a cold blast up the legs. You could never get these off and on in a hurry or without taking your boots off. Which isn't handy if you are trying to stuff in the rain liner. Either have to leave with all the layers or hope you have a nice covered area to pull into and change. I don't mind a bit that they are heavy. Should offer better protection in a crash. I have ridden several times in temps below 30 and with all liners in I stayed comfortable. once I got the air stopped have only experienced a small rain so dont know if water resistance is true or not. Very good value for the money.

All Season Kevlar Motorcycle Pants - Stratrider   NC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: I like the adjustable straps, the armour staying in place, the long side zippers, velcro straps for the boots, triple layers of protection, did not feel binding when riding.
Cons: Pants are heavy, but I expected it, hard to pull over jeans.

I purchased these just before the Polar Bear Ride on 1114, temps were at low 30s and ended at low 40s, I stayed comfortable with only shorts underneath. I was impressed with the warmth during the ride. I really liked the size, I am 6', 195...I ordered LargeTall, covered my boots very well and they will allow for more clothing underneath for my size. Jeans were a real task trying to pull over, but other options are available. I don't recommend spending time walking around in these as they are heavy, but we are talking about riding comfort. Per other reviews I understand the water leakage could come from the center flap area, but I have not encountered rain yet. I like the Kevlar as well as being able to ride all season long and continue to have protection. One of my reasons to purchase came from the excellent reviews and detailed descriptions. Being prepared is paramount in motorcycling, if the day comes I am in the slide, I will feel much better in these than a pair jeans. I believe the price is excellent for the All Season pants and would recommend these to everyone.

Some different brands of these types of pants don't come with many sizing options, especially length. The black pants I ordered fit well. I used the sizing chart and it pretty accurate. Other than having to take the pants, the rain slick goes in pretty slick pun intended. After 4 days and 1200 miles of riding in, and around, Deals Gap, I had no issues and am completely happy.

Pros: Fit is true to size, lots of air movement
Cons: The knee protection moves a little for my liking.

I have mainly used these pants for summer riding, have not used the rain liner or the quilted liner as of yet. Can wear gym shorts or compression shorts under, and feel protected. Lots of air movement with these pants, overall very happy.

Yes, they work - speedysst   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good air flow, easy to put ontake off, no road rash after crash
Cons: Knee pads move around a little

I tested the effectiveness of these pants on 8232013 by colliding with a deer while traveling at approx. 55mph. The motorcycle came down on my left side, pinning my leg between the tank and the pavement during the initial impact. Deer, bike and me then slid approx. 100'. I had no road rash and only a small abrasion where the top of the knee pad sits. I cant even imagine what my leg would have looked like without these pants I can definitely recommend them.

Pros: Quality zips allow fast on and off, durable material for long wear
Cons: During wet travel outer fabric does retain water somewhat but, no leaks

We have 3 pairs in our family and 2 other brands as well. These Sliders are the pant of daily choice as they bring in flexibility that the others only dream of. These pants we travel with on tours, this year 105 degrees to 50 degrees and, the pants worked each and every day, shorts or jeans we choose to cover them in our Sliders All season 2 pants. Cons: Knee pad shifted around too much

On 8232013 I hit a deer while riding my motorcycle on the way home from work. I can attest that the Kevlar and knee pads saved my leg My left leg was sandwiched between the asphalt and the gas tank during the crash and I was able to get up and walk to the ambulance. I cant even imagine what my leg would have looked like without the protection.

Nice Pants - Steve   AZ Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Comfortable, easy to put on
    Cons: Velcro closure at ankle

First motorcycle pants I've ever owned so have no basis for comparison to others. They seem well made. I like the details such as the full length leg zipper huge plus, in my opinion, the waist adjustments, the retention features for the liners at the ankle, and even the sewn in fabric loops at the waist so they can be easily hung full length to dry after a ride in the rain. There are also several elastic panels to make them more comfortable. For the con, I wish there were some way to have the cuffs snug around my ankles and also the last 6 - 8 inches of the leg Velcro closed.I bought these particular pants because a of the reviews, b they are all season no liners, rain liner, quilted winter liner, and c price. Bought them in the light silver and wish I could have bought the jacket in the same light color for riding in the southwest desert. Can't comment on the effectiveness of the two liners as I've only had them a month and only used the mesh shell.Relative to size they run quite in my opinion small. I initially ordered a large, regular which I thought would be spot on as I'm 6', 200 lbs, wear a 36 waist in a Docker type or 501s, and have a 32 & 12 inseam. I measured before I ordered. However, when they came I could barely get them on was a struggle to fasten the waist even with the side adjusters fully let out, felt like the Michelin Man, and there was no way I could swing my leg over my bike. I returned them and replaced with an XL, Long which fit pretty good. If I had my druthers, would still have at least an additional inch in length to cover more of my boot top. Without the liners they are just a bit loose those elastic panels help and with them, a bit snug. A compromise for a pair of all season pants.

Pros: Sizing accurate, Comfortable, Great Value, Sturdy zippers

I am very impressed with these pants. They provide protection but as long as you are moving you stay cool. I had an other pair of mesh pants big name brand and the leg zippers were too light duty. Both failed after 2 years use. These pants are well made and all the zippers are heavy duty but also easy to operatenot stiff. Also, the leg zippers go all the way up to the belt area...very easy to put on while wearing boots. The liners make it possible to use these pants in cold weather too. I am glad I bought them.

Pros: layer 'em up or down for weather. Great zippers
    Cons: Puff Butt

Very nice pants. Very happy with purchase. If it's cold and wet it's got 3 individual layers to deal with it, and as conditions change, pull layers out and put the unnecessary ones in the back pack. They're exactly what I was looking for. Good quality fabrics and zippers. Perfect.

Sliders All Season 2 Mesh - PAFZ1   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good Air Flow, Light Weight, Full Leg Zipper, Good Liner System,
Cons: Tad Short, Limited Ankle Adjustment

Have had these pants for a couple months and have put roughly 2,500 miles on them. I ride in heavy merging highway traffic to work 86 miles a day and wanted cool protection. Love them. Especially the full length leg zipper. They are very easy on off over my boots so changing in the parking lot is a snap. They have very good airflow and keep me quite cool. On a few extreme hot humid days I even ventured in shorts under them and was very cool and still felt protected. Seem to be well made though the mesh inner liner stitching is coming apart in the crotch but that is because I caught my boot heel on it a couple times. I am 6'1 and a 34 inseam and waist and the L is just right with lots of adjustment either way, for length they fit well standing but when i ride they are too short, they climb up pretty good. luckily i have a 10 boot. Also the ankle adjustment is a bit too lacking. They velcro but there isn't much adjustability so they are loose around my boot. If i could tighten them more maybe they wouldn't ride up Bottom line is I would totally recommend them to a friend. The best I have seen for the features, price and quality.

excellent for hot weather - mogan   WA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: good fit, protection & ventilation
    Cons: liners

These are excellent overpants for mild to hot weather Comfortable, easy on, well ventilated and gives plenty of protection. They come with 2 liners. 1 that's a rain barrier and 1 for warmth. I used both a few times, but found them to be a major hassel to get on and off. I went back to rain pants and or sweat pants underneath when needed. From past experience with ventilated riding gear I chose the light color. The dark colored ones work fine as long as you're moving, but get unbearably hot the instant you stop.

best domestic brand I've seen - rg500g   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: 2 stage liner wboots on entry, fabrics, protection, stitching,
    Cons: none

I own Olympia Airglide III, Firstgear HT, and Tourmaster Venture air pants, and this tops them all. You get a hook AND dual snap waist closure, and though you don't have 1600 denier Cordura in knees and seat you do have Kevlar which the others don't. Armor is middle of the road true CE level 1, but could be better in the knees. Small niggle. The big advantage is full zips in both the rainwind and thermal liners so you have true 'boots on' entry. Others don't. General assembly and stitching is on a par with all other brands. I'm giving away my Olympia pants and the Tourmaster Venture air pants which are new are basically surplus because of this pant. The Tourmaster knee armor is better and is being scavenged to install in the Sliders but that's it. Only my BMW Streetguard III pants are superior, and they aren't mesh, cost 4X more, and will only be worn when weather is 40F or below and raining buckets. Otherwise, these Sliders will be my principal pant. I'm a 34 waist, 32 inseam, and medium fits snugly but not tight with all the liners in. You'd need to spend well over 100 more for a demonstrably better mesh based pant, and only Revit or Alpinestars or Spidi's top end can really eclipse the Sliders. At their price, the only reason to buy them is vanity and name recognition.

Just the ticket - Roy M   AL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Quality, Protection, Hot Weather Comfort, Versatility, Design, Price
    Cons: Still looking for one

I live and ride in the deep south and am an ATGATT rider so I wanted a good pair of mesh pants with full CE armor. Buying from COMPACC on-line was a piece of cake and the order arrived very quickly and was exactly as advertised. I'm very pleased so far. The fit was just right for wearing the pants without liners over a pair of shorts or jeans.. The waist is very adjustable. I haven't yet used them in colder weather but judging from my TourMaster jacket with the same type liners, these pants with the two liners worn over some jeans or long johns should keep me warm in anything but frigid weather. I've now put in a few hundred miles with these in really hot Alabama temps and was very comfortable. Airflow is very good and the silver color reflects sunlight well - much cooler than black jeans. The pockets are handy and the full length two way side zippers allow easy access to inside pants pockets - a REALLY good feature. Materials are good quality and so is the workmanship. At 140 they are 40 to 60 less than other comparable pants. Again, these pants exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing all season pants with good protection.

Pros: Good construction and great price for value
Cons: little heavy with all liners but you don't notice when wearing them

Got to finally test the Sliders all season kevlar pants today in 36 degree weather this morning and they did a great job and were very comfortable. With the crotch having mesh you do still get some cold coming in the crotch area but it's more than tolerable. When I rode home tonight at 65 degrees they were more than warm. Over all pretty impressed with fit and quality . Only thing is I had to exchange them for a longer pair. Being 6 and 205lbs I went large tall instead of large regular. The large regular fit well length wise as a normal pant but when on the bike they hiked up a little and exposed my ankle to much. So I would suggest a longer pair to cover your boots or ankle better. I can't speak for long term quality but they are well built. I have no problem recommending these.

Cons: Pants are a little heavy

I bought a pair of these kevlar pants to wear primarily on hot days. They came in 3 days, much quicker than expected. I was really impressed with the overall design and quality of the pants. There are several small features that you just know were influenced by guys who actually ride a bike. The full size zippers really make them easy to get on and off which is one of the things I was looking for. I wear a size 35 36 waist and intended to wear these over my street pants. I bought a XL and they fit really nice. Have not had a chance to wear them on the bike yet but I expect that I'll be happy with them based on what I've seen so far.

Awesome kevlar pants Great buy on sale - Wayno J   WA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Fairly light weight, tremendous air flow, lots of protection.
Cons: None so far two months of summer use.

I have the All-Season 2 kevlar jacket in hi-viz yellow, and after wearing my Sliders kevlar jeans all spring and early summer, decided to give the matching All-Season 2 kevlar pants a try for the warmer weather. Wow, what a difference Although a bit heavy, even without either of the liners, they're not at all uncomfortable walking or sitting on the bike. And the air flow is amazing I've worn these pants in black in everything from 50 to 90 degree weather, including rain showers, and they are just heavy enough to keep you warm in the slightly chilly weather, and light enough to keep you cool in even the hottest. Sitting at a stoplight in the 90 degree stuff is not real pleasant, but any kind of speed on the bike means instant cooling. Really good stuff. Stretch panels down each leg and above the knees, with adjustment straps on each side at the waist, make for an easily tailored fit -- I'm 5'10 and 185, 36 waist, 32 inseam, bought the size LG and they are perfect. Protection is great with armor at the knees and hips. Having to put my bike down when a honyock cut across in front of me while I was exiting a parking lot demonstrated how nice the hip pads are -- really did their job can't say the same for my ribs, but .... For 109.99 on sale, these pants were the best buy I've made in a long time.

I wanted an all season kevlar pant for both hot and cool riding. My need was for a cool overpant with protection for summer 100 degree riding, and a pair to wear as regular pants during cooler weather. These pants fit the bill in spads. In a nutshell, I love them. Best 100 I've spent in a long time. A note about fit - don't buy big. I did and had to exchange them. I have a 34 waist and 29 inseam. I ended up with the Large-Short pants and they fit perfectly over my jeans without the two liners and fit perfectly as regular pants with the liners.

Great pants for the price. I ride a lot and these are by far the best pants I've had for temps over 80 f. Air flows through them as if they were not on. The padding and Kevlar protection is well placed. I am not sure how well the liners work, but if they are as good as the outer layer, they'll be great. The only fault I have with them, is they run on the large size. Thankfully, the waist line can be adjusted quickly.

Pros: Good price, good quality, versital, easy on & off
Cons: Heavy with all liners installed, size runs larger than indicated in chart.

Believe John in the video review...these DO run large. I ordered one size larger than I was going to based on phone call to CompAcc. Told I could cinch them down with the side belts. Way too large when received & had to return them for the next smaller size. In reality, I should have gone down two sizes, but didn't want to bother returning again. Other than that, I like them. They are very warm with both liners in, but heavy and a suspender would be a nice touch. They don't flow as much air without the liners as compared to standard MESH pants. All in all, a good product at a good price. These may be the only pair of riding pants you will need year round.

    Pros: Versatile Protective Great Price
Cons: Heavy, Don't stay down on legs

These pants have been nice thus far. I intended to purchase them as overpants on my rides to work this summer but it is appearing they don't have enough ventilation for that, even with just the outer shell being the only thing worn. However, for a serious motorcycle trip, these pants are a great addition. They leave you feeling much better about your legs in the event of a crash than just normal jeans. Finding a good place for the knee protectors can be frustrating and because I don't ride with boots, these pants ride up to my shins when in riding position. This is even with my legs being a 32-33 inseam and I purchased the Tall Mediums which have a 33 inseam. However, if I was wearing boots I feel confident the strap designed to secure the bottom of the pants snugly would work better.

Pros: True to size, full length openings, good air flow, multiple configurations with liners
Cons: Bulky if all liners installed, velcro closures at the bottom of legs is clumsy.

I purchased these as replacements for 7 year old air flow overpants. This is the second pair, as teh first ones shipped had a broken zipper pull on one of the legs. Comp ACC replaced them at not cost to me and responded very quickly. Thanks These are serving the same purpose as my previous pants, but these have full length leg openings. The openings are zippered most of the leg length, but the bottom 8 inches are velcro closures, which a bit more time to align and close and are a bit clumsy in my opinion. I much prefer full length zippers with a velcro secure strip at the very bottom. So far they have been very comfortable in Houston's hot, humid climate and I will see how they perform when the weather gets colder, but I think they will be just fine. The pants are a bit bulky with the insulation liner and rain liner in place however.

great buy - dewski   UT Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: value, versitility, features
Cons: run short, slick on seat, somewhat bulky

I needed a good 2-3 season riding pant and for the price these fit the bill and are a great value. Fit may run a bit on the short side. I originally ordered the medium regular and when on my bike...they rode up too much on my ankles, so I returned them and got the tall version which is just right. I'm 5'10 165 and will be wearing them as an overpant over jeans.I like that you can run them as just a mesh pant or put in one or both of the liners. I just road them with both liners in mid 30 degree temps and they were pretty warm. They are generous enough fit to wear as an overpant. Really the only thing I don't like as much is they are a bit on the bulky side and the butt is a little slick on my seat but it isn't bad. CE armor in the knees that is adjustable and hip pads. Great pants especially for the price

Pros: Mesh chassis, rain liner, comes in short sizes
    Cons: Bulk w thermal liner

I bought these pants for summer riding and they work well. The mesh vents okay, not the best I have had but it is adequate on hot days. The rain liners are are nice touch at this price point with full leg zips to make getting into easier. The thermal liner is a bit of a waste on me as I prefer to use my own warmth garment. But they will add a season if you use them. I like the extra protection provided by the Kevlar reinforced seat and knees. Being 5' 6 with a 30 inseam, I really appreciated these being available in a Medium-Short size. Overall, a very good pant for the money.

Good Protection - Buddy   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Comfortable, well made
    Cons: Disappointed in air flow

Even though the pants are heavy, they are still comfortable to wear. Spent over two hours standing in the heat after a flat tire and still did not feel hot. When riding, the air flow is not want I expected, but the protection provided more than makes up for that. Being able to open the legs completely makes them easier to put on over boots. The other two inserts waterproof and quilted will provide cold or inclement weather protection. Well worth the cost.

Great pants, too much velcro - Atticus   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: High versatility, kevlar, full length heavy duty zippers, hip protection
Cons: Way too much velcro, quilted liner is too long

I got these pants to replace my Tour Master Venture Air pants which had puny 34 length side zippers that failed. I need pants that I can wear over work clothes in weather ranging from 110F to below freezing and in every situation between. These pants so far have met that challenge wonderfully. First the pros The All Season 2 pants have heavy duty, full length zippers which makes life so much easier. Additionally, both zip out liners have full length leg zippers. The liners make these pants extremely versatile, I've had these pants since November of '14 and so far have gone from 18-70F including rainsleetsnow. In addition to having hip and knee protection, the impactabrasion areas are lined with kevlar providing additional peace of mind. Overall, the quality seems pretty good with no noticeable defects. Now for the cons The insane amount of velcro sometimes makes putting these on a hassle. The cuffs get stuck to everything - the other leg, itself, the cat, carpeting, leg hair... You get the picture. There is no clandestine way of removing these pants so if you are trying to be stealthy look elsewhere. The biggest pain about these pants Manufacturer take note is that the liners are cut the the same length. The problem with this is that the quilted liner when zipped into the waterproof liner pokes out of the bottom a full inch That means in wet conditions, if you don't take care to tuck the quilted liner back up in the pant, the bottom gets SOAKED However, I do believe that a seamstress can handle that fairly easily, which I'm planning on doing. Aside from those two things, these pants are money well spent

    Pros: Flexibility, Adaptability, Configurable, Breathable.
Cons: Let's cold air in the crotch area in cold weather, Bulky, Too many zippers, Confusing sizing chart.

The Sliders All Season 2 Motorcycle Pants are a good choice for the daily street warrior. These can easily configured to the weather conditions that you might be encountered during the course of your riding day. In the morning, with both the insulating liner and waterproof barrier in place, they will keep out most of the colder air that you will encounter on most bikes. I had a cold air leak directed to my crotch area on my adventure bike, however not while on my sport touring bike. This was partly due to the access cut outs on both the thermo liner and rain barrier in these areas. There should have been an overlapping flap in this area to keep out excessive air flow or redirect it at the least. During the afternoon, you can remove both of the liners and wear the pants as mesh pants. Once you put on the pants and adjust them on your hips, the knee pads set at the correct levels to protect your knees. These pants have Kevlar throughout the entire seating area to protect your backside and Kevlar throughout the surrounding knee areas. There are also hip pads to protect your hips on both sides too. Great item to add your arsenal of riding gear.

    Pros: construction, warmth, comfort
    Cons: sizing go up

The only bad I've found so far is the sizing chart is off. I own Sliders Kevlar jeans and they run at least a size too large in the waist. With that, I ordered the exact size the chart said I should for the All Season pants and I couldn't even button them with both liners in. I decided to skip a size and go up to the 3XL. With all liners, they are perfect. With just the outer shell, a little big. Fortunately, they have large Velcro straps to cinch the waist in and I don't find it uncomfortable.I've worn them road and trail riding in 30 degree weather and I couldn't even feel a breeze Very happy so far. Also, I'm 6' 7 tall and with boots the length is just about perfect.

Great over the pants layered protection - Curly 44   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great all weather protection, full length leg zipper allowing for easy on and off
Cons: Waist velcro does not stay secure enough

This is the second pair I purchased one in each color and I think these sliders are great. I own a touring bike and have driven, not of my choosing in rain, snow, fog, damp and freezing weather in CALIFORNIA of all places where it would be least expected and these pants saved me from selling or trading in my motorcycle on the spot. The rain layer kept my dry. The thermal layer when confronted with an unexpected snow storm in the Tahoe area at the end of September, kept me warm. I especially like the full length leg zipper that allows for easier on and off with boots and wearing over any type of pants. I wear these over business slacks for work. My only criticism is the velcro waist straps. I like the fact that the velcro straps allow for a more personal and flexible fit because I am 6'2 230 lbs, athletic built and when I tried the size for what the site recommends for my waist, they were not roomy or large enough for my legsthighs when wearing pants underneath these. So when I purchased up for the 2XL long, perfect fit for my inseam and more comfort through the thigh area, but that required me to use the waist straps to their extremes and I often find myself having to pull up the pants, though fortunately not while riding. But outstanding utility and great versatility.

Pros: Safety, value, Mesh, All Season
    Cons: Cargo Pockets needed, size

Would of gave 5 stars if it had cargo pockets, the sizing on the length is short by 2 inches. Other than that this is an awesome pair of pants I'm in SoCal, & rode out to Vegas, these pants saved me from the heat knowing very well that I'm well protected on my legs. I've been hit by a car before and roll about 15'. I know these would of held up, if I had bought these at the time. Plus saving my legs from the road rash scars I got on my hip & knee. This is basically the only pair of riding pants where the knee protection actually fits perfect. They are adjustable by Velcro, w 3 heights to choose from. Once you take the time to find the perfect height you'll never have to change it again. There is a zipper that runs down both sides of the pants that's comes in handy, for cases of leaving you're keys in your shorts & you've all ready have pants on. After my accident I'll never choose a lower price of pants, come paired to this pair Keep up the GREAT Work guys

The Perfect Pants - Leeners   CO Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Great Fit
    Cons: [None]

These pants are amazing but learn from my mistake. I purchased them a little longer than usual so they would cover my ankles when I sat down. Therefore, when I stand they are a little baggie. I got too close to my pipes and burned a whole in my knee. It was only the second time I wore them and I was so sad about it. The good news is that they protected my legs and I had no idea I was near the pipes - They really are wonderful pants and I love that you can adjust them for any type of weather.

Great over the pants layered protection - Curly 44   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Full length side zipper allowing removal over boots and removable rain and thermal layers
    Cons: Heavy

Love these sliders. Better than most other brands and styles I have tried in both fit and function. The full length zipper running the entire length of the leg allows for ease in putting on and taking off including over the boots. Several I have owned, the zipper only extends up to the calf preventing one from putting on or taking off over boots. There is also two separate liners, one for rain and one additional thermal liner that allows you to remove for particular riding conditions. I am 6'2 230 and originally ordered the XL, regular length based on other customers' reviews but I found that size too short in the inseam and a bit narrow around the waist to wear comfortably over my blue jeans. So had to order the 2XL and tall which fit much better.

Great choice - Lithuanian Up North   MN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Fit to size, good quality for price, kevlar motorcycle pants
    Cons: Boot closure loose

I am 63 180 lbs with a 3434 jeans size. The medium tall size fit nicely over just shorts, but a little too tight for me with jeans, so I went with a large tall. If you like a snug fit go with the medium tall you won't be disappointed, otherwise the large tall gives you a little room, but also a good fit. The quality and features of these pants are great, stuff typically found in pants costing twice as much. Only complaint is the boot cuff is Velcro and on the bottom 6 -zipper doesn't go all the way down - and doesn't draw tightly enough around my boots. You get a little wind draft up the pants. I'd prefer the zipper to go all the way down and the Velcro to draw tighter, otherwise I'm happy with the product.

Great Riding Pants - DJ in CA   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great year round riding pants. Have two separate liners rain and thermal. Take them both out for cool summer riding with protection. Built in knee pads Side zippers to allow for easy on and off over boots.
Cons: No back pockets and front pockets are kind of shallow.

I had some Slider jeans, but wanted something that provided same protection, but was cooler for those really hot days. These fit the bill. I have only worn them once, but planning on taking them on a week long summer ride where we will see all different kinds of weather. With the two separate liners, I am hoping this is all I will need. Plan to just wear shorts underneath so that when we stop, I can just take these off and be ready to go to eat

    Pros: Versitility, Price
    Cons: Zipper Slide Tab

The fit was ok, followed the reviews and ordered one size up. With both liners they will be snug but I think warm. My main goal is to ride with no liners and over shorts. Have not had a chance to try that.First time I put them on out of the box the tab on one of the zippers broke when I unzipped it. replaced it with a small paperclip which will work but it is a disappointment. Hope there are no more zipper problems.

Slider all season pants - Ninja1000   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Nice material good padding in hips and knees
Cons: Zipper too short. Extra work just to take a leak. Cheap pockets

Overall, I like these pants. Well made and look good. They cheaped out on the pockets and the bottom area where the legs Velcro together. The zipper should have gone to the end of the pant. The front pockets feel cheap but do the job. I had to return the first pair because they were too small. I am normally a 38-39 jean but I had to go up to 42 to get these pants to fit. I was forced to pay for return shipping, so if your jeans fit tight, go up one size here. For the price, I am very satisfied.

Full Kit - cozadz   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good visibility with reflective piping, usable pockets
Cons: Liner not well stitched -- hand washing requires repair

I like the outer shell, rain liner, and cold weather liner. They make the pants usable year-round I live in San Antonio, Tx. Hand washing the pants is really tough on the sewn-in liner. I have a pair that's been washed a couple of times, and we've had to do some re-assembly of the liner each time. That means if the seam that gives out is in the leg, I have found it the hard way

    Cons: [None]

So far I've had these pants for a couple of weeks. I wear them over my regular clothes so I got them a size larger than normal. Considering the cost you get a a lot for your money. Full length zippers on the legs make it easy to get boots in and out. Lots of Kevlar, armor, and thick nylon. The construction looks really solid. I have used the liner for extra warmth but not the rain liner so I can't comment on water resistance.

Great as overpants - Michael Walter   FL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Light weight, breathable, liners are easy to remove and work to recommended temperatures, easy to blindly connect to Sliders Camel Jacket
Cons: Mesh is see through, knee pads do slide around.

This is my first pair of motorcycle pants and I am very impressed. I've ridden in mid 40F and stayed as warm as pants alone in 60F. There has been some minor sliding in comparison to jeans alone but it is not enough to impact riding safety. The zippered connection for these pants is so well placed that I can connect my Sliders Camel Jacket to these pants without any assistance or mirror. My only true complaint about these pants would be the mesh by the legs is see through so using these as regular pants alone will run the risk of revealing underwear. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone looking to buy a great pair of riding pants at a great price.

Good Pants - toddzilla   WI Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Good sizing
    Cons: [None]

Im a thinner guy and wear 30x32 pants. My previous all season pants were the Tourmaster Venture Air Pants which I ordered in small as larger sizes were too baggy. The Tourmasters functioned well other than the zipper blew out after 2 seasons. With jeans and a belt underneath the waist was pretty tight, but the length was far too short with bent knees. Now I have the Sliders which are similar but better. They came with the option of a Small Tall size which has the proper length and the waist is a more appropriate size over jeans & belt. They also have a sturdy metal hook where a button might be in front under the velcro and snap flap. I also like the full length zipper up the legs of both outer AND windwater break liner. They zip in the rear to my Tourmaster jacket as well.

Good until heavy rain. - Strommer   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good fit, good protection, very modular, great price.
Cons: Flawed design for rain protection.

I've had my Sliders All Season 2 pants for almost a year now. I bought these to replace a pair of Fieldsheers that I wore for almost five years. First, I like that they come in a light color, great for hot days in the south. The mesh breathes great and keeps you cool. The two separate liners, which can be inserted separately or together, make these pants great for all seasons, exactly as advertised. Fit is pretty much spot on, but get a couple inches large in the waist if you are planning on using them as overpants as I do. The cuff at the bottom fits a bit loose, which is great if you plan on wearing these over a bulkier boot like my Alpinestar Scouts.Recently, I had my first opportunity to really test the rain liner. In a light sprinkle I stayed dry and comfortable. I was surprised that the leg zips of the liner didn't leak, even with the flap oriented with the open side facing into the wind, which seems like it would let water in. When the rain picked up, I discovered the real flaw. There is a gap in the rain liner at the fly it does not meet in the middle. This leaves an open area where water, once soaked through the outer mesh pants, will pool on the legs when in the seated position and be blown up toward the crotch. From there, the water simply drips down straight down to rider's groin and inside the liner. Now you have water pooling in the liner, running down the back of your legs, and most likely into your boots.I will continue to wear these pants, and I like them very much for clear weather, hot or cold. However, the rain liner will only be a windbreaker for me now. For long trips, I will have to carry separate rain overpants.

Perfect for multi-day travel with different weather needs - Bradbury Bill   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great versetality for changing weather conditions. Easy to wear linners without zipping in and out.
Cons: Had one zipper come right off first time I used it.

Bought these for a planned motorcycle trip to Europe. Will be in valleys in the 80s and then climb to passes where could be freezing. Without the linners the mesh material keeps you cool, yet you have appropriate padding for safety. If it gets cold, put in one linner. If it starts to rain put in the other. I don't bother to zip the linners in and out, but just put them on and the pants over. I bought the matching jacket and I do the same thing. Just the linners are OK to wear as a jacket when you don't want the pads, etc. So for a multi-day trip you have all the warmth, dryness and comfort in one outfit so you can pack light.

wore these in the rain today - steve in pa   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: good mesh pants
Cons: sewing errors and bad liner design

I reviewed these before but had not worn in the rain. Today was rainy so I thought it was a good opportunity to test them out. I got 100 feet down the road when they started leaking big time at the crotch. I should have known from looking at the waterproof liner that there was no way these would keep me dry. There is a large V opening in the liner right at the crotch. For some reason there is no coverage right where you need it most The rain water poured into this opening all the way to work and literally filled the inside if the liner with water. When I stopped and put my foot down the water that had collected in the seat area dumped down into my boots soaking them completely. These could not have been designed by anyone who ever rode a motorcycle in the rain. Like the mesh pants. Hate the useless rain liner. I will go back to my old reliable frogtogs for rainy riding-worn on the outside. The mesh took all day to drip dry and was still wet 10 hours later when I rode home. Compacc customer service was grateful for the feedback when I called them this morning and said they will look into putting a gusset at the front of the pants rain liner to keep them from filling up with water when used in the rain.

happy with these so far - steveinpa   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: fit. quality of construction. pockets. full length leg zippers
Cons: knee armor placement. weird fly.

Like others noted these feel heavy when putting them on. Once they are on they are very comfortable. Knee armor tends to migrate around winding up towards the inside of my knees. I might try placing some velcro inside the pockets to keep armor in place. I like the velcro at the leg bottoms myself. I like the front pockets. The zippers all seem very nice although the pair I received has a missing pull on the top of the right leg zipper. Compacc offered to pay a seamstress to repair this. Fit is right on. I wear a 40 waist 30 inseam pant and the 2xl fits great. I like the silver color too, although it took a while to like it. I am used to always wearing black pants. These flow air pretty well and have been comfortable in mid 90's. Liners will not be used much by me. I like the raingear to be on the outside and I have my doubts that the liners would be very effective in a rard rain long distance situation. I wear a one peice teiz suit with heated liner during the cooler months anyway. For rain I wear a frogtogs suit over my riding gear. I would not want to have to take off all my gear to put the liners in if caught in rain. The rain liner does not even cover the crotch area which really makes no sense to me since that is the first area to get wet while riding in the rain. All in all for the price a decent pair of mesh pants.

Work well for hot weather - Petethepup   VA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Easy putting on & off good ventilation, good protection
Cons: The Velcro at bottom a bit of a pain

For summer overpants, these are a very good compromise between air & safety. I try to be an ATTGAT rider & these make me feel like if I come off, I have some protection. I'm 5' 11, 190lb, 36 waist. The Large size is right, though a medium may have worked. I haven't used the thermal liner & almost undoubtedly won't. Nor have I used the rain layer. The rain layer is fairly bulky, which is a bit disappointing. I like to travel light. My only complaint is that the bottom 3-4 of the leg is Velcro'd. I'd prefer a zipper that goes farther. With the light material, the Velcro attaches to the wrong place while putting them on & that means ripping it apart. Only a minor annoyance.

    Pros: easy on and off
    Cons: none

I purchased these i July and immediately removed the liner and the shell. The mesh pants are comfortable and very easy to put on and take off. The pockets are small but access to your front pants pockets is good once you manipulate the hip pad out of the way a little. The hook and loop on the cuffs tend to get caught on themselves which can be a little difficult and the front zipper has a waterproof membrane behind it which is probably good for the rain but is a little difficult on the bio breaks.

Pros: Very cool in summer. fit is good, not too baggy.
Cons: Having to undress for a rainstorm does not work for me.

I was very impressed with the quality and fit of the pants. I ordered for my 38 waist 6'2 height and they fit perfect, not baggy like some pants. They were very comfortable in 95 degree heat. The knee pads were just right on the bike, not above the knee when bent like some pants. One problem the pants must be taken off to put on the rain pants or the warm liner. Not pretty to do on the side of the road. I used my Walmart rain pants over the mesh pant several times over a weekend, that way on and off was a breeze as conditions changed. The pants fit over my boots but could be removed without taking off the boots by unzipping the side zippers. I recommend them for the value.

Pretty good - goldwingguy   IA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Comfortable, fit well and a good buy for the money.
Cons: fly is too complicated and no zipper in the cuffs

I really do like these pants, but there are a couple of issues which causes me to downgrade the rating. When you need to relieve yourself you can't just unzip the fly and take care of business because there's fabric spanning the opening. Instead you have to also unsnap and unhook them then drop your pants at least part way. It's just inconvenient. I would also like to see a zippered cuff in addition to the velcro, which would allow for a tighter fit.

Sliders All Season-2 pants 7000mi - campsitepoacher   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good pants for the price
Cons: fatal design flaw at the fly

After 7000 miles of road oriented dual sport touring, I can say these are pretty good pants except for crotch design as Strommer, steve in pa, and others have mentioned. They're a bit heavy, a bit bulky, and lack certain amenities found in higher-end apparel but what do you expect for this price The bells and whistles I can do without, but the stated purpose and functionality of the design, ie- all season fails at the crotch. Effectively, the only thing protecting your nether regions from the elements when both liners are installed is the outer mesh pant as seen in the photos. The inner liners both are simply V-cut in this area allowing rain and unwanted cold air unimpeded access. Because of this fatal design flaw, the all season functionality is reduced to handling wet road spray after a rain storm for a limited time. Any water runoff from the front of your jacket will go downward right through the mesh. If the weather is dry but cold, expect some cryogenics in said area mainly because the wind liner lets the wind right through. Now, except for that problem, these are still pretty good pants. The stitching, fasteners, and material have all held up well. I have not tested the value of the Kevlar yet and I hope not to. If only the windrain liner could be redesigned to ward off the elements, that would make these pants a great value.

Good Idea on paper - Joe Lake Havasu City, AZ   AZ Recommended by Reviewer: No
Pros: Vent well. Zippers work well. Materials seem good.
Cons: Flap in the wind. Zipper pulls came apart on day two.

This pair of pants and the jacket was to replace a hot weather and a cold weather sets so I only needed 1. For me it didn't work. The pants flap in the wind which is one reason I wear overpants. When you install the rain liner it needs to be zipped up along with outer and when you install both the rain and insulated liners you have to mess with three zippers The crotch is a little short so I never was able to hike'm up like I wanted and this was magnified with each liner installed. Other pants I've had are not mesh on the inner side of the lower leg, this prevents transferring engine heat directly through the pants. These are mesh in that area and I did notice more heat than before. I just finished a 4000 or so mile trip so I feel I've had a fair trial of these clothes. I would not recommend them as a replacement for two sets. That was my need.

If but for the knee armor - rg500g   MO Recommended by Reviewer: No
Pros: zippers&waist closure, expansion panels, 2 stage liner
Cons: knee armor size and location, hip padding, crotch zip

I own new Tourmaster Venture Air and older Olympia Airglide III also. The sliders pant is seriously let down by the knee armor size small in length and placement too high. Size M pants fit beautifully 34 waist, 32 inseam as over pant, but knee armor rides way too high and cannot be adjusted lower. The hip padding pocket is form fitted to the shape of the padding and is sewn in backwards. I compared with the Tourmaster which uses the same pad shape. The kevlar is at first blush a great feature, but it only starts working after you've ground through the outer layer. Kneesbutt saved but pants sacrificed. I'd rather have high denier Cordura in outer layer ala Tourmaster that is less likely to abrade through. The silver lining is the lining - 2 stage, fully zipping. Lastly, the crotch area is not as well turned out as the rest of the pant, and the rain liner doesn't cover it. This is a risk in longer duration rain riding, but I was dry in a 30 minute commute in heavy rain behind a BMW K1200gt fairing.

    Pros: Good fit, 2 liners
Cons: Poor quality of the zippers

I was excited when the pants arrived. They looked great and fitted on my middle-age body quite well. Two liners are included, one for cold weather and the other just to make it waterproof. Remove both and you have a pair of good summer riding pants.I purchased the pants for a 3,000 mi trip around the SE US in October, meaning leaving Florida on 90 degrees weather cooling off at the Ozarks Nat'l Forest forecasted to be around the low 40s. Three days into the trip all was well until the pocket zippers started to jam with the right one breaking it's tab, sheering off the base loop on the zipper body. I was not happy....another 7 days with this.Comp Acc did not accept the return it has been used.. but agreed to fix them under warranty. I wanted my money back to buy something else but unfortunately, it seems that I am stuck with it.

good pants - poor zippers - jtown4321   Recommended by Reviewer: No
Pros: versatile, comfortable, easy to wear
    Cons: poor zippers and pulls

These pants worked exactly as described. The liners are easy to use and the pants go on and off quickly and easily. The mesh is breathable and allows a lot of air flow. Unfortunately the zippers on the pants do not work as well. All the rubber sliders pull tabs quickly separated and the leg zipper broke clean off the railing. After sending them in for repair and finally receiving them again the same zipper broke after first use. Great while they work but not worth dealing with repeated repairs.

Total Disappointment, Horrible Fit - Bret   UT Recommended by Reviewer: No
    Pros: Good Value, Versatile
Cons: Horrible Fit, Sizing is wrong, defective construction, deserve 0 stars

I purchased two different sizes of this pant after calling customer support, just to make sure I had the right fit since I was leaving for a 3,000 mile trip days after I receive my order. Unfortunately, the sizing notes for the size small are completely wrong. I am 5' 11, 155 lbs, with a 31.5 waist with proportional torso to leg length. I ordered a size Small Regular and size Small Tall. There is no way the leg length is as mentioned in the sizing tab. I even measured the pants with a measuring tape and the only way I could get to the claimed 32.5 length on the Tall is if I tug on the pants to stretch the material to length. When comparing both leg lengths, one leg measures about 1.5 longer than the other suggesting questionable quality control. I decided to sit on my Suzuki V-Strom while wearing the pants just to make sure I wasn't over reacting. I sat on my bike and, what do you know, the pants ride up halfway up my calf if my legs are bent and on the pegs. The only way to get the pant legs further down is to low ride the pants which is impossible to do when sitting on a motorcycle saddle. What's worse is the knee pad is in the lowest position setting and it doesn't even cover my whole knee. Instead, it rides up my quads leaving the lower knee completely exposed and unprotected.I cannot begin to emphasize how poorly sized these pants are and what a total disappointment. Based on the sizing chart, I would need a 2XL to get enough leg length for the pants to cover down over my ankle when sitting on my motorcycle. In measuring while sitting on my bike, I need at least 4 more of leg length. It's like they designed these pants for standing, and not for the seated position on a motorcycle. I suppose if you are overweight and have a large waist and short legs, these may fit. BUT, if you are a slim guy like me, absolutely avoid these pants. Now I have to pay to return pants that are sized poorly.

Didnt fit - Rob   Recommended by Reviewer: No
Pros: Multiple layers. Looks like good protection
    Cons: Didnt fit

I needed a new pair of cold weather riding pants. I wear a size 42 pant, so I figured that something that should fit a size 42-44 would work. Nope, not even close I couldn't even get them closed. I know that sizing is not based on an American waistline, but come on If something says it should fit a size 44, but cant even be buttoned up on a 42, that's a problem.
