Information and Details about the Sliders Adventure Motorcycle Pants
made by Sliders
The Sliders brand has been constantly improving their gear since its introduction back in 2004. The Sliders Adventure Motorcycle Pant certainly follows this trend. A new selection of materials in this pant and a slightly redesigned fit over the Quest motorcycle pant are some of the key features that make the Adventure pant a bargain compared to the competition. As always, Sliders extensive use of Genuine Name Brand Aramid technical fabric in the impact areas, along with foam hip padding and height adjustable CE approved Armor in the knees make this motorcycle pant really stand out from the competition. The Adventure pant is designed to be used in temps from the high 70's down to the 30's or less. These pants will perform again and again. Plus, you have a 1 year manufacturer's warranty against defects for that additional piece of mind.

Sliders Adventure Kevlar Motorcycle Pants
  • 100% Polyester 600D Outer Shell and reinforced knees, Genuine Dupontâ„¢ Kevlar® Aramid Fiber in critical areas on the pants

Sliders Pants - gLix   MA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: fit, protection, warmth
    Cons: none so far

CA shipped these pants promptly and they were as advertised. By using their sizing chart I was able to get a very good fit - though it wasn't my normal size, so check the chart carefully. The armor in the pants seems to fit better than others I've had. The materials are first rate and my riding friends have complimented them. I've used them in 70s through high 30s so far in the New England fall weather without wearing any jeans under them. Haven't had them on during a rain storm but they worked flawlessly in short drizzles. I ride about 800 miles or so each week and have been very pleased with my purchase.

great pant for cool weather - Jake   IN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: warm, good construction, zip out liner, water proof
Cons: warm, waterproof flap makes pit stops difficult

Really nice high quality pants, these are very well made waterproof field tested pants. love the water proof zippered pockets. I like that they are wind proof on cold days, warm days however they are still wind proof only draw back even with out the zip out liner and vents open. However i do have a touring bike with a large fairing an old style kawasaki concours. the fit is true to size and they fit like wrangler jeans in my experience. i would recommend these to a friend and will try the jeans for summer rides. best bang for the buck gear i have gotten

Warm pants - Norsk32   ND Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Sturdy construction, warm, great value
Cons: Wish leg zippers on pants and liner ran higher

I'm 5'9 205 lbs and bought the xl short pants. Fit great I live in North Dakota and bought these pants only for cold weather riding. I ride a 2013 ninja 1000 to work at freeway speeds 75-85 mph and even in the recent mid 20 degree weather these pants kept my legs warm My commute is only 25 minutes but could ride all day and stay warm. It feels like I'm putting on an astronaut suit when put these on but totally worth it for cold weather and yet very comfortable. One deciding factor for buying these was the zippers on the legs and liner so I could take these pants off and on without taking my boots off at work. The zippers don't quit go high enough. Putting pants on with boots on is easy but taking them off gets my boots caught up in the liner. Not that big of a deal. Love these pants

The paints are great &fit too - 231clover   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: They are just as you claimed them to be.
    Cons: Dont know of any

These pants are just as you advertised them to be.This is the second pair of Sliders that I have bought from you. That should tell you what I think of your riding pants.Keep up the good work.

Sliders Adventure Pant - Egbert   OR Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: good fit
Cons: kind of tight if you have any kind of belly

These pants fit really well in the legscrotchbutt area. Kind of tight in the waist. I will say that if you have any kind of belly, I'd order size accordingly. I normally wear 38W X 32L in DickiesLevis. Those pants fit a tad loose, but I can still squeeze into 36W if need be. I'm 6' 215lb with a bit of a belly. Not a huge beer belly, but a gut none the less. These pants ride kind of high, so if you have a bigger than normal belly you may want to size up. I bought the XL and I think they fit well, especially in the leg area. Not baggie.

Beware the sizing is for tape measures on your waist. - JERRY W.   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Comfortable, Very Warm, Length is Perfect
Cons: Waist size listed on the chart is off by 2 sizes.

I am 5'10 215 lbs. I wear 34waist by 30 length Levis Jeans. When using a tape measure my waist is 39 so the XL is a bit tight so the XXL is what I went with and it's great.

Slider Adventure Pants - gravel road   NE Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: everything they said they would be
    Cons: non e

watch the online video. these are everything they say in the video. pay close attention on the sizing, they are not over sized. I thought they might be a bit stiff until broken -- turns out they were some of the most comfortable MC pants i have worn and that was on the first ride. I'm very impressed with the material, construction, and design. You cant beat them for the price.

Great - Bliz   OH Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: None
    Cons: True fit, good quality

As good or better than any higher price pants. To go off subject a bit . Since I was pleased with these pants and Competition Accessories service I recently ordered a LS2 FF396 helmet from an advertisement e-mail Competition Accessories sent me. After 3 days I received an e-mail that the helmet had been discontinued. How can C.A. advertise a helmet that I ordered 1 day after receiving the advertised e-mail and then wait 3 days to tell me it's discontinued When I placed the order the order page even said the helmet was in stock. When I complained I received an email from a C.A. employee named Sean with the standard we apologize for any inconvenience and a sarcastic have a nice day. Over the years I've ordered a good bit of products from C.A. but there are too many other online retailers I can go to rather than put up with this.

Slider Adventure Pants - Mike   IN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Gray Color I Belive will be Cooler

I purchased XL Tall I need the length. I have tried them in cold weather did a Great Job. Look forward to spring to try with quilted ling out. Could not be happier at this time. Seems to be Great Quality.

Great Pants for a Bargain Price - David in Austin, TX   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Very warm in cold weather, comfortable to ride in
    Cons: None

I've only been riding in the Sliders Adventure Motorcycle Pants in cool weather with the lining in so I don't know how they will be in hot weather with the vents open, but they are very comfortable and warm for winter riding. The quality and attention to detail are that of riding pants I've paid more than twice as much for. I chose the lighter color to be more visible on the road.

Great Value and Quality - Rstarr   IN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Warm and Comfortable
    Cons: None

Rode in 30 degree weather with just the Sliders on no problem at all.I'm 6' and 210 lbs and the XLRegular fit fine. Was so satisfied bought the wife a pair.Shes 5'3 and 125 lbs and the MediumShort worked out well for her. They appear to be well made and as long as they hold up for some time don't know how you could go wrong buying a pair.

Great cold weather pants - Vince   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Warm, vented
    Cons: None

I purchased these last winter for daily commuting in the Washington DC area 20 miles, mostly highway, but didn't have the opportunity to wear them until now. I am a 4032, and the XXL fits well as an overpant with no liner or as pants with the liner in. There is not room to wear the pants and liner with jeanspants on underneath. They are exceptionally warm, when wearing the pants and liner in 30 degree weather my legs tend to sweat just a little. Wearing Sliders Kevlar Cargo Pants and the liner is also very warm. They are bulky, but not oppressively so. The closures and full length leg zippers are of good quality, and the linerpants allow for tucking the liner into your boots, while securing the pants around the exterior of the boot for a warm, windproof seal. Would definitely recommend them, especially at this price point.

Sliders Adventure Motorcycle wet weather gear - Sacramento occasional rider   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great features, well made, true to fit, and comfortable.
    Cons: none

I bought these for my wife for wet weather riding. I have a pair and have used these in wet weather. They work well and are low price. Competition Accessories ships really fast and there products are top notch at a great price.

Nice and warm - Bert   NM Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Well worth the money. Look great plenty warm in the winter.
    Cons: None

I love these pant I dont even use the insert to keep me warm at 40 degrees no problem. One thing I did was add velcro to the knee armor itself. Then get the armor in place and it wont move around on you.

excellent - HoldFast   NY Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: waterproof, wind proof
    Cons: [None]

These are great pants. They are waterproof and windproof. My ride to work today was 36 degrees F and I was plenty warm. I purchased the Large, Long, I wear jeans with a 34 waist and 32 inseam. The pants are a little long when walking around, but perfect when on the bike. I can wear a pair of jeans under them with the liner in comfortably, but I can also wear them without jeans underneath and they are just comfortably loose. I like the removable hip padding that could be replaced with upgraded CE armor. The CE armor in the knees is soft and flexible and the adjustability is good. I really appreciate all of the protection from the elements along with the armor and kevlar. Very good investment. I'd buy them again and recommend them to friends.

Sliders Kevlar Pants Adventure - Ron   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Amazing fit, true to size and very comfortable. Vented.
    Cons: none

Great pair of all season riding pants. Very well made and look that they will last. Fit perfectly well and are really comfortable. The side zippers are a nice touch. The vents are an added advantage though air flow is minimal but somethings better than nothing.

warm and secure - Thruxton 900   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: solid protection from road and elements
    Cons: They weren't free

Tested them on a chilly 45 decree New England night and I was warm and toasty at high way speeds and then some. No cold air up the pant leg They appear to be well built and should last with reasonable care. Very functional. Great value. Wife liked that they'll help keep me in one piece but - she still wants me to sell the bike, Ha Fit I'm 5'9 165lbs, athletic, 31 waist and 32 inseam. I ordered the Medium Regular. I ride sport style with pegs back and most pants will ride up over the boot but wearing these with the liner in over a pair of jeans - I didn't have a problem. They fit as advertised and the padding was right where I would want it. Great value.

Dual sport rider - Mark   OH Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Very comfortable
Cons: Little hard getting last two Hooks hooked I got the small size I beleive medium would have been to big.

Rode only once with these pants but worked well.Did go down with these pants on and no damage to them protected me very well. Was wearing Sliders, Pants, Jacket, and Gloves on and protected me very well.Too bad I didn't had Riding boots on because I crushed my left heal and broke my ankle.

Great Pants - Mike C   LA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Fit, protection, style
    Cons: [None]

This is my first pair of actual riding pants. I bought them because they were on sale and matched my Scorpion Drafter jacket. I'm very happy with the pants. The fit is great for my 6'2 - 34 inseam frame. While the outside is not waterproof, it comes with a zip-in liner that is both water proof and insulated. They are ok in the heat without the liner and just shorts on underneath if you are not stuck in a traffic jam. In other words you want to be moving with these on if you live in Louisiana in the summertime -which I do. I bought them for wintertime camping trips - I camp about 5 hours away. I have no doubt they will do the job. I know these are entry pants. If you're like me and can't afford the more expensive pants but want the protection of a very well-made pair of pants with armour and Kevlar, these are for you. I very highly recommend these pants.I look legit too lol

Not for warm days - Tiger 800XC Rider   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Weight, Overall Quality
Cons: A bit bulky and very warm even without liner

When you take these pants out the first time, you may think that you ordered a snow suit. These pants are bulky and heavy and great for cold weather. They are the real thing Order these ONLY if you are looking for a colder weather pant. You will suffer in any temp above 70F even with the liner out. Trust me, you will. It was 73 in my house in the AC and I felt really hot trying them on. I am 5'11 with a 3434 pant size and I ordered the LargeTall. They fit very snug at the waist even with the liner out and the velcro belts all the way loosened. The Tall pants run a bit long for a 34 inseam, but nice when knees are bent on bike. I have very thin legs, so these fit me very loose in the legs even with the liner. You would need really thick legs for these to fit tight. I wish I could adjust the legs so I wouldn't have to worry about the knee pads moving all around. I tried to get my motorcross kneeshin guards fixed in them, but the mesh pocket isn't wide or tall enough but is wide for the mediocre included pads. Also, because of the waists liner zipper, the hip pads ride a bit too low down the leg. Overall, these pants really seem to be well made and I am very impressed and recommend them. Once again, these are NOT for warm weather riding. If the Kevlar works and these protect as they should, these pants are a winning deal.

Fit as expected, but more pants than expected - 2000ZR7   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Heavy construction. Removable Liner. Price. Safety. Cold Weather riding
    Cons: Bulkier than expected.

I have not had the chance to test the waterproof capabilities, hopefully not any time soon either. I typically wear 29W30L jeans, I am an athletic build, so I got the Mediumshort. Mediums so I can wear them over my pants. without adjusting the belt, its slightly loose, but felt like a good fit. They are much bulkier than I expected, but after putting them on, they fit perfect. I can tighten up the waist with the velcro adjusters to make it more snug than needed so it will take in a couple of inches if needed. Has big deep front pockets. I haven't tested in cold weather, but just putting them on I started to get very warm. I will update if there is anything more to report worthy. So far they are just what I wanted, to extend my riding season.

Great Quality - Ian   NC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Quality, comfortfit, versatility
Cons: Slight water seepage, weird armor adjustment

I love these pants Their quality and features are so much better than similarly priced riding pants from national chains and brands. Seriously. Took them on a 1000 mile trip starting in the rain. They let a little water in around the upper butt, but nothing too bad. I didn't have it zipped to my jacket so maybe that's why. Regardless, they were dry before I took them off that night. I measured myself with a tape measure and ordered online, fit perfect. My only complaint is the knee armor adjustment is kindof awkward and seems like it might rip if you adjust it too many times. But hopefully you adjust once and its done. I had to twice.Long story short, best waterproof shell, insulated, non-overpants out there below 200

Sliders Adventure Pants - BigRed   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Durable, knee protection, waterproof
Cons: when warm outside, can get hot

These pants are great. I'm really impressed with the overall quality of them. They have knee protection and smaller hip pads. I really like that it's waterproof haven't tried it out yet though, but it does get a little hot on warm days. It does have little vents that allow some air flow though. Would definitely recommend.

Finally, riding pants that fit - F800GS Rider   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Quality of material, workmanship, removable liner
    Cons: [None]

I'm 6' 0 and 160 lbs with a 30 waist. Every pair of riding pants I tried on at dealers, cycle outfitters, etc were either too short if the waist fit or too big in the waist if the inseam was long enough. Though I don't exactly fit in the COMPACC sizing chart, I bought the size MediumTall pants and they're perfect. The Velcro waist adjustment works for a comfortable fit and the legs are plenty long so that the knee pads sit correctly when I ride, instead of hiking way up like other pants I tried.Highly recommend.

Sliders Adventure pants - TWColorado   CO Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: fit well-super easy returnexchange with COMPACC
    Cons: none -

Fit well over jeans and khakis, will use for work commute. Finish and sewing look solid. Vents work well. Sizing for me XL with Short legs. Cuffs still a little long, scuff when walking. 5'9 200# wear levis 36W30L. COMPACC was easy to returnexchange. Be safe, gear up

Riding year round - F800GSrider   NV Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good looking, diverse and comfortable protection.
Cons: Minor details not exactly right. Bad fly design.

These pants are an exact fit and are not meant to be over pants. If planning to use over a pair of pants, you better order the next larger size. The insulating liner is easy to put in and take out. The vents are nice but the elastic chord and snap assembly that holds the vent open on one of the vents pulled loose on one end because it was not properly stitched in place I sew, I know and fix it myself. The leg length zippers make it possible to put on and take off without taking your shoes off but it's not useful if not used as over pants. My only real complaint is that the fly is not conducive to being a man using the restroom. You almost have to pull the pants down for this purpose. The front pockets are small but still have enough room for keys and wallets and stuff like that. There are no other pockets on the pants. Some pass through pockets would be nice for those using them as over pants. Another addition I would like to see is boot gaiters that tuck into the boot to keep wind from going up the leg of the pants when using the insulated liner. The pants are warm enough to handle about 30 degrees Fahrenheit which is pretty cold for most riders but I rider when it's a lot colder than that so these are transitional for me.

Sliders Adventure Motorcycle Pants - DS   OH Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great fit and quality construction, kevlar
    Cons: None

    As expected, totally satisfied

Better than I expected - Sliders Adventure Pants   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Warm, good protection, good price, good fit
    Cons: A bit stiff

I needed winter over pants to keep riding. My commute is about 20 minutes with a maximum speed of about 45 in traffic so keep that in mind. The morning ride is usually in the mid to low 40's although last week dropped to 28-32. These come with an inner liner which I am yet to need. For reference I am 5'11, 175 pounds.I arrive at the office warm now which is a major improvement. The knee guards end up perfectly aligned when riding so the pants are actually quite comfortable. With motorcycle boots on the length is perfect with an adjustable cuff to keep out the cold air. I mention they are a bit stiff compared to my mesh summer pants but given the warmth and protection provided it isn't really an issue. I do have a long ride coming up at the end of December so that could be a good test. I do plan using the liner...

Sliders adventure pants - Papaed   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Comfortable and well made
    Cons: Size runs small

I am 5'8 230 lbs.using their chart ordered xl regular.Would not fit my 40 inch waist.Reordered xxl regular, still too tight.rereordered xxx regular and finally got them to fit.IMHO the vendor needs to rethink the sizing criteria.

Good value. Some adjustment may be required. - GeekOnABike   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Very solid, sturdy. Seems like very good protection. kevlar fabric panels
Cons: If it's your only layer, will feel like a glad bag. A little snug.

Five stars for value a bit less if the price were higher.I ordered these a couple summers ago because they were on sale. I tried them on immediately and was impressed how heavy they are a good thing protection-wise. The armor feels impressive too.The front comes up a bit high which helped motivate me to lose some weight because it gave my belly a bit of pressure. As it was over 100F outside they got put aside for a while.I tried them this last fall in dry 80-ish weather, and despite the venting my ahem sweaty legs felt a bit damp and clammy on the inner layer. I think they'll be fine in colder weather with another layer or two in between. I do have full confidence in them in the event of a get-off. Otherwise, if you want something a lot more breathable you'll have to pay more or get a lot less protection. If what you want is good, solid protection at a terrific price, this is about the best. You can probably buy similar products elsewhere but from what I've seen these are more solid than anything else at the price. It just might need a little diet and exercise, or a size higher if you have a bit of a gut, and some adjustment for lack of effective venting despite the college try with the side thigh vents. But really, unless it's mesh lousy protection or some expensive breathable fabric like Aerostich claims but not all agree about its effectiveness, you'll put up with that anyhow. It's just a bit more striking on this piece, perhaps because of the more snug fit.

Sliders Adventure Pants with Kevlar Protection - Mike C   AZ Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great for cold and damp weather, comfortable to wear, kevlar panels
Cons: Stated in description, but only 95 waterproof not easy to put on over footwear.

Starting off, I bought the large size and am 5'9 165lb and they fit great. I took the advice of the product review on this site about getting a size up. Have worn them for a month now and am very happy with them. My ride to work is 30 minutes each way and never felt a bit chilly with temps in the high 40's. The description is totally accurate with the motorcycle pants not being 100 waterproof. During a pretty heavy downpour on my ride to work, they kept me totally dry for the first 20-25 minutes. In the last 5-10 minutes, I felt the water seeping into the pants in the upper crotch region. It seems to be a factor of there being a V shaped area where the pant legs meet.

Sliders Adventure Kevlar pants - ranjo   NM Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Very good quality
    Cons: [None]

Quality is very good. I wear size 32 or 33 waist in jeans normally ordered size medium short with liner inhard to fit over jeans , wearing them by themselves fit good, 30 length fit right. These kevlar pants by themselves or with long johns will work great in temperatures in the 30s. Overall a very good bargain.

You are going to like these motorcycle pants - tHawk   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Fit and style
Cons: They are not light weight

I purchase a size large tall. I am 6.1 190 lbs and they fit perfect. I have Slider cargo kevler pants w34 L36 and Slider jeans w34 L34. Just for comparison the Adventure measure in length within 18 of my Slider jeans L34. And about 1 inch shorter than my cargo pants L36 As a quick non scientific guess it appears the large size fits waist size 33-36 using the velcro closure. You could release the velcro and add a couple of inches of room but I'm not sure how you would keep these pants up because they are not light in weight. With the liner and pads installed as shipped these pants are very comfortable. I road with them on the coldest day so far in TX 30's and they were fabulous The paddingarmor stays put, and the pants have a nature bend sewn-in riding position shape so they are very comfortable during the ride.I have not removed the liner so I have nothing to report for summer type weather, but for now these are my favorite go to pants for a serious day long ride.

Great kevlar motorcycle pants - a little snug - Brad S   IN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Well built, good padding, warm and cozy
Cons: size runs a little SMALL - especially as an over pant.

I just ordered the next size up yes, it was a blow to my ego and am returning my XL's. Well built, and while I didn't ride in them, they appeared warm and toasty. Liked the padding and abrasion protection from these sliders kevlar pants.

Sliders Adventure Kevlar Pants - Bunky   WA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Well made, fit well, good price, Kevlar Protection
Cons: Ventilation is not very effective

I had an earlier model of these kevlar motorcycle pants when I went down at about 40 mph. They did a good job of protecting me and actually sustained relatively minor damage one abraded knee. Therefore I decided to buy another pair the newer model, now called Adventure pants. The price was right and I was happy with the previous model. I think the Adventure pants are a little better than the previous model, primarily with the waist closure now with a clasp instead of a belt but still with side belt adjusters and the zipper seems to work better. The large long fits me perfectly 6'1 and 200 lb. My only complaint is that the ventilation zippered thigh vents is not very effective, but I generally wear mesh pants on really hot days.

Awesome Kevlar Riding pants - Josh   KY Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Much better than previous ICON pants I had
    Cons: None

I have had these kevlar pants for a couple of weeks now and feel they are a huge upgrade to some similarly priced ICON pants I owned. These pants fit great I got 3X short so I could wear my scrub pants underneath them to work. I am 5' 10 235 L and they are a little loose but I can adjust the straps on the side to make them fit good. Quality seems great so far and I have nothing bad to say about them. I have ridden into the mid 40's with them and with the liner I haven't gotten this slightest bit cold on my 30 minute interstate commute at 70 mph.

Sliders Adventure Pants - WillS   MD Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Look Good
    Cons: Poor fit

Yea, I was hoping to wear them over some jeans, you know work clothes, but at the very least, they almost fit only if I am wearing underwear. I would wear them only on long trips or local long rides. I still recommend them for others because your body style may be better then mine.

Comfortable and good quality - Sparty   CO Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Well made, easy to get on and off
Cons: Small side pockets, be careful with the fit

I'm six feet, 190 lbs. I wear a 3738 waist pant and 32 length. I initially ordered a xl waist which turned out to be way too tight. I had to sent it back cost me 20 and request an xxl waist...really, which fits much better. There are ways to adjust the waist but the pants waist estimate runs smaller than it should. The regular length fit fine. The 2 side pockets that you would use for change or keys is not very deep. The removable lining is super warm. The pants are very comfortable, as I can wear them with shorts underneath which makes them look a little billowy but the function is great. I have yet to wear them in the rain. Although I've only been out in them twice, I like them and would recommend them.

Cons: Velcro D ring loop stitching only lasted 2 rides.

This is a product that simply exceeds expectations as soon as you take them out of the box. One of those products where you say, I can't believe they can deliver a product this good a this price point. I bought these based on the reviews, and the reviews didn't disappoint. I bought the greyblack combo in size large and they fit my 35 waist just how I wanted them to. Having 3 length options is another great example of value. They come with a thermal liner, but I doubt I will need it. I recommend a pair of the light weight Nike Combat tights underneath and you have great breathability and comfort. I would have given 5 starts, but the stitching on the D ring for the waste adjustable Velcro strap disintegrated after two rides. Disappointing, but its one stitch, not critical, and I'll mend it easily....but it's a detail missed. Overall, would buy these again without hesitation.

Received order on time, fit is correct just as the sizing chart.Looks good

    Pros: [None]
    Cons: [None]

I am 5' 7, 165 lbs, and I ordered the M Reg to wear as overpants. The fit is perfect over jeans I wear 3230, and they look pretty stylish too. The side zippers go up far enough to get the pants on and off without taking off my short riding boots. Not sure whether that would work with full-length boots. Quality appears really good in every respect. I've seen better hip and knee protection, but I've seen a lot worse. The knee armor could have better coverage. I could see these shifting around on a get-off or on impact and not protecting the knee. I might replace them, but the pockets might not be big enough to hold anything much largerlonger.Well worth the 100 bucks

Sliders Adventure Pants - Sliders Adventure Pants   KS Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Great Fit, Great Quality
Cons: A bit tight inl legs, hopefully will loosen up a little

Make sure you buy the next size up if you wear jeans underneath. I am a size 34 waist and I bought the large. A bit stiff but I am sure will loosen up as I wear them. With boots on a little difficult to put on.

Excellent cold weather gear - Solomookie   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good protection, excellent quilted liner, good value
    Cons: Questionable liner attachment zipper

I already have Sliders All Season Pants, and like them. However, I am not a fan of the waterproof liner it's like a plastic sheet and does not breathe at all actually. So in cold weather, I have been using just the quilted liner. With mesh outside, that's asking a lot of the liner. I got the Adventure Sliders to fill the temperature range between All Seasons with the liner in and with the liner out. However, I found that the quilted liner for the Adventures is also waterproof, while still maintaining some breathe-ability. As a consequence, they are much warmer in cold weather I ride year 'round than the All Seasons. So they are now my 35 and below with liner, and my 45 to 65 without liner choice of riding gear. My con regarding the liner zipper is that I have already had issues with my All Seasons, and this zipper seems to be the same. Not overly stout. The leg zippers are fine this comment is only about the liner zipper.

Good vaue for money, just the non-waterpfroof crotch... - Paolo70   NY Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good quality fabric kevlar, well put together, 95 waterproof, padded where needed
Cons: Crotch is not waterproof, sizing is odd, button difficult to use

I have had these pants for a couple of weeks and rode about 500miles in all kind of weather. SizeI have a 36x30 jeans but my waist measures 41 so I went for a 2XL. This is a little bit to big but i have been using the the top layer as overpants and it works fab. Lenght is fine, just too generous on the legs but in all i cannot complain.MAterialThe pants feel solid well stiched together. Fabric is good and kevlar, you cannot ask for more for 100. Zips are waterproof and so the rest of the pants BUT the crotch area. 10 minutes of heavy rain and I was ... wet. Well, this is the only point I recommend Competition Accessories to work on, otherwise, the quality of the pants is superb.TempreatureDefinitely not for hot hot days but as long as you're keep moving and the vents are open, it is fine for me. With the liner on even the cold mornings are easy to take and also keep humidity away quite nicely.FeaturesThis is a no-frill pair of trousers. 2 front pockets are good enough for me but they dont store much. The legs zips are well done and easy to use. I cannot pass my boots through but they are wide enough. The button a latch is hard to close but the straps work a treat to tighten up around the waist. The knee protectors are not always where they are supposed to be so, one mark down. I tried all three positions but they seem not to hold position all the time. I will likely buy soem protection to mount on the knees. All in all, this is a good pair of trouser for 100. If I had 300 more I would've bought some Klim Overland, but again, you get what you pay for.Well done Sliiders. Just work on the crotch bit and bingo

Great quality, but - lvboxers   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great quality. Rivals that of more expensive pants.
Cons: Tad bit tight in crotch area.

If there was a bit more room in the crotch area, I would have rated a 5 star. On long rides, minor uncomfortable becomes more of an issue. Short rides 40 to 50 miles not too much of an issue. Otherwise waist, length, etc all good and material is great quality.

riding pants - Dan   MD Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Look well made
    Cons: none yet

Havent had a chance to try them on the bike yet as the weather has finally warmed up enough to swith to mesh pants. As far as fit goes-the sizing is way off. Im 5-7, 230lbs 40 inch waist. I went for the 3xl short and they are a good fit-I did not have any jeans etc under them. For comparison my mest pants are Tourmaster 2xl short, and 40 X 30 jeans. These seem to be well made, and look to be a good addition for the cooler weather. Ill have to wait until to give them a real test.

nice pants - eric   DE Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: proper fit,good protection,affordable
    Cons: [None]

pants fit as advertised, they come with knee pads which I didn't know and ordered a set.i would say they are a 3 season pant, above 75 probably a little too far I am pleased. I think the only thing I would change or add,is a two way zipper on the legs,i have this on another brand of overpant and comes in handy when it gets warm you zip down and let some air in. I am not using these as an overpant just as pants with or without the liner.

Sliders Adventure Pants - careful with length - AL1EN   KS Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Construction, flexibility
    Cons: Careful on length

Purchased for weekend riding and light touring. Good construction and liner provides quite a bit of warmth. They really stop the wind on the thighs on cool or cold days. These were a Christmas gift and my only regret is I wished I had tried them on the bike before taking the tags off. My pants are Large Regular and are perfect in the waist and great for length off the bike small bunching on boots but ride up quite a bit when on the bike 06 FZ1 - about mid boot and can be a bit drafty on the lower leg. For reference I am 6' and 33-33 in jeans or pants

78suzidave - 78suzidave   WA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: great value
    Cons: sizing

These pants were purchased to be overpants. I am 6'3 weigh 210. Pant size 34 x 34. I ordered size Large Tall. I should have ordered XL Tall. This size works well as just pants wearing no pants underneath. If you wear a waist of 34 order at least an XL or maybe XXL. In my opinion motorcycle pants cant be long enough. These fit well walking around but hike up when on the bike. Lot of pants for the money, just order the right size.

Slider Pants - DavidP   WA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Good quality
    Cons: Figuring out the sizing

I do like these pants - lots of time reading other reviews and trying to figure out sizing. I am a 40x32 pant size but took a bit of a flyer size-wise and got a 3xl which turned out to be a perfect fit in both waist and leg. Removing the thermal liner I can wear jean underneath, but with the liner in it'd be too tight. Haven't tested them for waterproof qualities yet but here in British Columbia, Canada that'll be soon...

Fits my wife...yay - McRider   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Well made, comfortable
    Cons: limited vents

My wife needed riding pants but we could not seem to find any that fit her correctly. She's tall 6', thin women's size 8 and has freakishly long legs. Forget any of the women's sizes, not even close. First we tried the Tourmaster Venture Air pants in men's medium tall. They were really not that tall and they didn't fit her around the hips. Called CompACC and after speaking with Tabitha who was a great help she suggested the Slider's as they came in a men's small- tall and she stated they usually run long. Well they were a good length but just a tad snug. So I exchanged them for the men's medium-tall. Almost perfect except a little loose in the waist but that's to be expected when you are fitting men's pants on a woman and there is plenty of adjustment. The length 34.5 inseam was perfect, even better than the small-tall pair. So my wife is happy. She has not ridden in them yet but I don't expect any problems there. Just happy to finally find a pair that fits her.

mtnbandit - BMahar   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Very warm and comfortable
Cons: Almost too heavy to hang and the pockets could be deeper.

I've ridden with these pants for approximately 800 miles and they are warm on cold days, comfortable to wear and walk in as well as keeping knees, hips and back side protected. I had to buy suspenders to keep them up to where I wanted them. Probably not the pants fault but rather my mid section. I'd recommend them to my friends, which I already have.

Sliders adventure - Papaed   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Provide very good protection
    Cons: Sizes run very small

Good fit and finish, but had to order and reorder 3 times to get a proper fit.I am 5'8 ,230 w a 41 inch waist.only the 3x size fit properly.

Sliders Adventure Motorcycle Pants - woody3839   GA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Decent protection and quality for the money, comfortable.
Cons: Probably to warm for middle of summer, mild and cool weather only.

Good quality overall, I would purchase again but would order correct size first definitely run small to size, I wear a 38 pants and ordered a XL that had a range of 37-41, NO WAY, could not even think of buttoning up, sent back and got XXL, fits but just barely, Way off one true sizing for these pants, that is my only negative comment, I use mainly for trail and dirt roads on KLR and they seem pretty good for Dual sport type riding.

These pants are decent for the price. You get what you pay for.

Sliders Adventure Motorcycle Pants - Debelt   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Good quality materials

Pants arrived with a damaged leg zipper. Rather than return, decided to have a local dry cleaner replace the zipper. Other than that, appears to be well made with quality materials.

Well built pants, but when ordering you may want to consider the next size up. I think the sizes are a little small.
