Decent Tail Bag - Matt C IL
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Large size, good quality
Cons: Difficult to mountremove, not a hard case
Mounted on a 2012 V-Strom 650. This very large for a soft tail bag, plus it expands when needed. It is considerably wider than the seat, which gives a lot more capacity. Will fit full face helmet. Very useful for commuting to work or very light shopping, but does not lock. I worry that someone will steal my stuff or the whole bag Looks good on an adventure style bike. It took a little creativity to strap it securely to my luggage rack, and it is difficult enough that I really don't want to take it off or strap it back on again. Has reflective piping and a sturdy rain cover. Overall, this is a very nice soft bag, but I've decided to get a large 2 helmet size top box to use instead lockable, waterproof, easily removed, larger capacity. I will still use this bag for touring in front of my hard box. I recommend this bag for those who need a soft bag.
