Pros: Cost clearout, Fit, Quality, Function
Cons: Fit under the arms
I am 5' 11.5, 32 inseam, 42 waist and 260lbs. XL size was just right.Cons first - Few IndeedIf you were waving your arms around, the fit is tight under the arms. If they added a flexible gusset it would be a 1010. That's it.ProsThe quality is fantastic The pockets and vents are ergonomically perfect. You can reach all the pockets on the outside with natural motions and same goes for open and close. The vents Work VERY Well. Tried them on a COLD day, you really know how much air is flowing then Again the zippers can be done up and undone reasonably easy while you are riding. The feel of the jacket is a bit tight in the arms, but it's spot on when you realize the elbow and shoulder pads are perfectly placed. I tried a wool sweater as my mid layer LL Bean River Boat shirt with snug fit all around on top of a T-Shirt and the weather protection was perfect to 32DEG. Great fit even with the sweater. No rain test yet, but I feel confident that won't be a problem as KLIM has a great reputation with the Gore-Tex.It looks Great - Wife said so I bought the Traverse pants too, same feel and quality, looking forward to a nasty weather ride soonBe safe all and thank you for your reviews so I could make this selection in comfort.
Klim Blade Jacket - Tom in Tallahassee FL

Pros: Great looking and white color is highly visible on the road. Vents galore for hot weather. Very good fit. A bargain at the sale price.
Cons: Collar hard to make snug. Blows up like a sail with all the vents open wind resistance without a faired bike.
Have only ridden in warm to hot weather an I am surprised at the comfort it affords as long as the bike is moving. Riding an unfaired CB1100, too many open vents balloon the jacket and cause a lot of wind resistance. What is necessary is some trial and error to find just which vents to open and how far to open them. The small bicep vents are incredibly effective at 50 open. I settled on opening those and those in the back. The only hot spots are under the spine armor and sternum area. The fit is great for me size Large for 44 chest 5'10. The arms are long when standing, but perfect leaned forward a little with my lower-than-stock handlebars. I am looking forward to some milder and colder weather. I like the concept of not having zip-out liners the outer shell is waterproof gortex and it's up to you to wear layers underneath in colder weather. My closet is full of liners I have to search through and then the tedium of zipping them in an out of the appropiate jacket. If I had to have only one jacket, I would pick this one. I would say it is the most attractive and functional and safest, with the included armor jacket I own.
