Pros: Very comfortable and quiet when broken in, very little lift and buffeting for type helmet
Cons: uncomfortable to put on and take off until broken in
I love this helmet....now. When I first got it, I was impressed with the quality of the finish, the interior is very soft and wicks moisture. Doesn't give me the head itch like some other helmets. I use this with a SENA intercom and it is awesome. I don't need to crank the volume as the helmet is very quiet considering the style. You will NEED to get the optional chin curtain. That said, this was very tight to put on and take off for the first month I had it. Very hard on my ears. Once on, though it is very comfy....then one day, it was fine. Good thing for both of us, as this thing was headed where helmets go when a new one is purchased. I'm very glad I stuck it out. Will buy another one when its time. Protection and ventilation is good, even behind a large-ish GIVI windscreen on my BMW 1200 GS. Behaves nicely in the wind also on my Aprilia RSV1000 with tiny windscreen. The face shield is clear and durable, great ear pockets for the SENA. Overall, if you can get past the initial ear abuse, it's worth the wait. I've had the helmet for 4 years51K miles of all types of riding. The peak is great for blocking the sun, seals up very tight against the weather, doesn't fog....This is much better than some of the other less expensive dual sport type helmets, that some of my riding friends have tried.
