Cons: Fit- For Size 11 US
I take the time to write about 20 reviews a year on products only if I think I can add something or give information and in 95 of those case I like to keep it short and sweet, not possible on this one. I wish there was a 3.5 star rating, 3 indicates average and I HOPE these are better than that- also, also I had a choice recommend, yes or no, how about maybe Quality seems nice out of the box but like most previous reviewers I think at a bare minimum you need your own custom foot bed insert, unless your completely flat footed as the insert is only barley above a piece of cheap coated cardboard - not a terrible thing as you will be way more comfortable at the end of the day with 10 upgrade if your require any type of arch support... I will remain on the fence with this product until I wear and use for awhile and see what the break in does for the following reasons, I might really like them for the price point. The quality of the build seems ok and seems like its a great summer boot, I have seen WATERPROOF comments, but nowhere have I seen that in the product description and with the amount of venting on this boot and zipper it is hard to believe it would be waterproof. As an aside I started with the ICON Reign which felt fantastic, but they apparently had a zipper issue with that model which was a waterproof zipper as many reviews returned for failure issues - as did I. Finally, even with a custom foot bed here is my fit issue, I am generally a size 11, if anything when I find and buy an 11 I like for comfort. I find that just maybe my complaint is it should be a little roomier... I wear a dress shoe every day, usually Johnston & Murphy I would like to think a solidly middle of the road priced shoe and at the end of a day your feet swell and a little room might just work. But while a size US 11 translate roughly for them into a EUR 46 and with these it is very roomy and I mean all the way around, front, back and top some might even call sloppyhowever, at the end of the day which I have not hit yet as in Northeastern Pennsylvania our riding days have drawn to a close So I might appreciate this room but I am also equally thinking a thicker sock may be in order to buffer the room. If I can update this issue in spring I will certainly do, stay tuned
