Excellent MileageFantastic Value - HWA3rd   AL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Excellent mileage for dual purpose riding,
    Cons: Scrubbing in period

My current bike is a fairly heavy modded 2012 Yamaha FZ1 with close to 35,000 miles 65 Hi-way, 35 Aggressive and I'm buying my 3rd set of Conti-Motion tires. I've run OEM Dunlop tires, Pirelli D-Rossa 2's, Michelin Power 3's, and Shinko junk. Sometimes you just like something because it works well every time and doesn't break the piggy bank, For me, that something is Conti Motion and the package deal at CompAcc.com is just icing on the cake.

Pros: Stands up well to both dirt and asphalt
Cons: Higher price, but lasts longer

I've had these tires before on a GS on the haul road and then back to the states. They made the whole trip without problems. Excellent traction where I needed it and good on the wet highway.Even when they were wore out they performed well.

    Pros: great price, last forever
    Cons: nothing at all

Been riding for over 20 years, own a CBR600rr. These tires will last forever. I live in Hawaii and the weather is hot all year around and it rains often. Sticks to the road in every turn. The bottom line is that you can't get a better tire for the quality and price.

can't comment on durability as currently there are only about 1200 miles on them- no visible wear yet.handles hard pack and light sand well. will drop pressure on sugar sand. wet red clay- still looking for improvement seems to load up and not release clumps. on road comfortable, good grip, predictable.

    Pros: Great Price & Appearance
    Cons: Grip

I have put 500 miles or so on these Continentals. I bought the Front & Rear set for a great price, made even better by the Comp Acc cash that I had in my account. I am very pleased so far with these tires. I commute mostly on my 04 VFR and go on a Spirited group ride once or twice a month and these tires are definitely up to the task. Will see how they fare over the next several months.Rob in Tampa, FL

Great Tires - EBRPyle   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Excellent price, longevity, and traction.
    Cons: none yet

I put a set of these on my 03 Hayabusa for a cross country trip from Bakersfield Ca to Bar Harbor Maine and back. I got 9500 out of the rear and have about 11500 on the front and the front is still on the bike. I love these tires and cant recommend them enough. I rode through snow wind thunderstorms 2' deep water in Cleveland during June with all the storms and they performed excellent and I'm not easy on tires I took them on the Tail of the Dragon and through Shenandoa Park with no issues. They Rock on the Busa for hard riding too and anyone with a big girl like mine knows what they do to rear tires.

    Pros: Nice for the price.
    Cons: none found ... yet

I bought these because of price. I mounted them myself onto my 2008 Kawasaki Concours 14. I have almost 1000 miles on them, so far, and see no noticeable wear. Now I use my bike to commute 37.5 miles to work each way. I replaced a set of PR2s that were on the bike when I purchased her. I mainly ride at the posted peed limit and most of my ride is straight with very few curves. I had read reviews that folks were getting 8k miles out of these and if so then these are indeed a GREAT bargain compaired to the big names, PR3s and Angel GTs to name a couple... The pair of tires cost me what 1 PR3 costs...I hope to get at least 7k or 4 months wear out of these.I don't know if I can update at a later time but will see.

Pros: Break-in time, Wear, Grip, Cornering, Styling
    Cons: None

I used to always run this tireat least on the rear on my 2002 Honda 919. For my last tire, I decided to save 30 and get a Dunlop Qualifier Sportmax Q2 Motorcycle Tire. That was a mistake. The Dunlop lasted 4,000 miles or less. This tire goes 6,500 at least Not only that, but the Dunlop Sport tire was awful until it had warmed up completely This Conti breaks in in no time, and is warm enough to ride hard almost immediately when you start riding I am never worried that my back end is going to slide out from under me when I'm running these Continentals. On top of all the performance qualities, this tire looks really cool, tooI will never again cheap out and get a crappy tire again

Great Dual Sport Tires - Texas254   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Super tires for my kind of dual sporting
Cons: Not optimum for deep sand or mud

This is my 3rd set. 1 set on a BMW R1200GS in Alaska and this will be the 2nd set on a BMW X-Challenge in Texas. They are predicable on the street and paved roads getting to the dirt. They handle great on hard pack, gravel and dirt. They do well in sand up to a point, like 3-4 inches deep, and wet dirt. They aren't as biting in deep sand or serious mud as some purpose designed tires. I've done thousands of miles on them, 50-50 pavement dirt, and am completely happy with them. I'm an average dirt rider so I don't do the extreme stuff intentionally that would require the super knobs.

Conti Motion - Mike K   NC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Low cost very good tire
    Cons: None

This is the second time I have purchased a Conti Motion tire. The first time was for my cross country trip last year. I wanted to try the Motion because of its price point. As a daily year round rider I go through alot of tires. I would typically use Conti's Road Attacks and have used them for years. I prefer their feel and predictability. On my cross country trip the Motions were subjected to several different surfaces from rural road, highway, dirt road and some minor off road. I was happy to see that the Motion held up just fine and I beleive are comparible to the Road Attack without the higher price. The wear was on par with what I was getting from the Attack as well. I replaced them in Seattle before there time only because I had alot of miles to cover heading East and would have needed to change them somewhere through that section. I did not want to take chances with a worn out tire in the middle of nowhere ND. I consider myself a moderatly agressive rider and subject my tires to various conditions. I am confident in recommending these tires to any typical street rider.

Pros: Run quiet speed, handle light, wear like iron
Cons: Will skid on wet pavement if I slam on brakes non-abs model- my bad.

These tires are superior tothe Michelin Pilot Road Is which were OEM on this model. They run quieter- especially the front, handle light & quick , wear much better & cost less. I wore out 2 sets of the Michelins approx 8000 miles ea. I now have 11,350 on the Contis w 3.0mm left on both front & rear. I plan on getting Conti Road Attacks in Jan 13. The only negative Ive noticed is a tendancy to skid on wet streets if I brake hard. non-abs model

Watch your tire Pressue - I.M. Buell   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Ready to ride out of the Box with great grip
Cons: Need to run at Conti's recommendation for pressures

I LOVE the profile of these tires, super-fast tip in. They warm up quick and have great dry traction. Wet grip is good, never hydroplaning. I only lost traction under heavy acceleration on a wet paint strip all tires do this with my bike. The only problem I had was at a track day, the tires over heated and got greasy quick. I finally found another guy running this tire and told me I was running the pressures way too low. I checked the Conti site not easy to find and for my bike they list 36psi for the front and 42psi for the rear The bike manufactures recommendation is 3436. This info should be given with the tire purchase. My next outing I bumped the pressures up by 20 and the problem went away same track with warmer temps.I dont know what mileage Ill get from these, if they last close to the Q2s Im golden.

Wish I bought this one - Gus   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Break in time, Tread Life, Wet Traction
Cons: None that I can think of

I recently purchased a Dunlop Qualifier to replace this tire on the front of my 2002 Honda 919CB900F. I wish I had spent the extra 30 to get the direct replacement. With the Conti, there is little to no break in time, due to the dry mold technology. I felt extremely unstable for the first 25 miles or so on the Dunlop. The Conti is also significantly more stable in the rain. I miss my Conti only 100 miles into the Dunlop

Decent mileage - JayEss   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Price, mileage and performance
    Cons: None for me

No many people put the actual mileage they get out of the tires, so I will. Bike is a 2000 Triumph Sprint RS. I just replaced the back with another Motion after 8060 miles. They were down to the wearbars, but not the cords - thankfully. The fronts can probably go another 1000-1500 miles. I ride a combination of straights and twisties - we have to ride about 40-60 miles to get to the good twisty roads, so more straight line than I would like. I also do a short commute with this bike as well. Most miles are one up, but about 10 is with a passenger. I am very satisfied with this set of tires, they never gave me a reason to try anything else. They never broke loose or squirreled out. Great price at 170 a set.

Ready for SERIOUS adventure - DakotaDakar   SD Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Best adventure tour tire if you get off the hard stuff.
    Cons: The don't last long.

I've run TKC80s on four different BMW GS bikes over the years. I recently got a new 2012 GSA and took off the stock Tourances after just 1500 miles and put TKC80s on. Tourances are OK in gravel IF it's dry. But if you ever get into true dirt, or anything wetmuddy, you need TKC80s. In hard pavement cornering they do well until you get out on the outer row of knobs, where a slight weave begins. They also add a little buzz through the pegs and grips. The biggest downside is that I change rear TKC80s at about 4000 miles. Even having said all that, there is NO other tire for me when it comes to adventure touring.

Conti Motions - Mike K   NC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Good grip and wear
    Cons: None at this time

I have been using Continental tires on my bikes for many years. In the past 6 years I used the previous generation Road Attacks and the new RA2's. Because I go through several sets of tires per year and it gets pretty costly, I wanted to see how the Motions held up compared to the Road Attacks. At this point I have several thousand miles on this set of Motions and I am very happy with them. They have worn very well and I can not feel any difference in traction from the Road Attacks. I would say these are the best bang for the buck for me and will certainly get another set when needed.

Cold or hot, wet or dry, I have all the confidence in the world in these tires. I will be buying a 2nd and maybe even a 3rd set of these tires. For the price, I'd be crazy not to.

Excellent choice for fun sport riding on a scooter. We replaced the OEM tires that went 6,000 miles before replacement. These Conti's offer softer rubber which grips well both in the heat and rain of SW Fla. The front looks new but the rear is showing threads at 7,000 miles. Those are high miles for these blacktop and shell roads. Corner with confidence with these skins.

Awesome Tires!!! Had them mounted and fully scrubbed in within 21 miles!!! Amazing grip and stick, even when newly mounted due to the new dry mold setup these buns use. I'm not a big believer in using all the tire, even on highly spirited rides, but I noticed that my rear has about a thumb nail's width of Chix Strip, and my front tire has about an inch width of Chix Strip!!! This is on my Gen6 VFR800 RC46 that I use for pleasure and commuting. I have over 4k on them now, very, very slight squaring in the center of the rear tire, but they look like they are holding up the same as my previous Pirelli Angel ST tires another awesome tire, got 8200miles out of those. Confidence inspiring, and when they do break loose too much lean on wet pavement, particularly painted lines-user error, lots of feedback and warnings, and very gradual. Ride is not as smooth as with the Angels, but that's not a bad thing at least for me. I'm the "I want to know everything that's going on with the road" type, so I like the fact that I get constant feedback about the road surface. Good bump soak, and they hold tire pressures extremely well went about 2 months without riding during the winter due to ice and snow....maybe .5 to 1lbs of pressure loss. Fast to get to sticky tire temp, and as I ride year round, that's really awesome for winter time riding. Haven't done much wet weather raining yet...but the opportunities I have had have been pretty secure feeling. All in all, this is a great tire coming from the viewpoint of an above-average 'Clydesdale' rider on a heavy bike and when time to spoon on a new set, it'll be this tire. Seriously freaky the scrub in time!!!!

    Im Impressed!!!
Bought a set for my 05 zzr1200 and wasn't sure what to expect. I ride in western NY and put 15k on a year, and really abuse this zzr and tires. Since going through so many tires, I figured why not try em out! Anyway here we are and I killed the rear down to the cord at 6600mi.!!!! The front looks and feels new with no irregularities and am going to use with the next new Motion rear! The rear tire wore true and even, all the way to the edge, like I said, Impressed, cause I use this zzr. Rear tire went about 5200k until the wear bar. Traction was good but a little lose when goosed from the light making a turn with heavy throttle, but VERY predictable, feedback was also very good. Anyway, for money, you cant beet em, the ZZR is heavy and powerful, so it was a good test. I am a three season rider and rain doesn't stop me, and again the tire performed good in the rain, good traction and very predictable, never did it give me a reason to hesitate. BTW this is the first time I have put a less expensive set of tires on this bike, owned since new and now has 51k on it, so I've tried a lot of tires. Don't know if it matters but the rear is made in Germany and the front is made in Korea! I Know, but they work

After searching for a great all weather rear tire last summer, I settled on the Road Attack. I have put over 4,000 miles on it 1,500 in the first weekend and it has been great in all condtions from dry to wet and cold. I can probably get another 4,000 more miles before it needs replacing. The profile of the tire is slightly more rounded than the Dunlop it replaced, yet it offers better traction and feedback with no squaring off. Great tire for touring/commuting.

I've had two sets of theses on my busa. These tires are great. the only thing is once the wires start to show the tire seems to deteriorate faster. May just be that i'm a big 330lb tire grinding lump and I ride kinda hard sometimes. my bike was bought with diablos on...I skidd twice stopping at lights which is why I chose a different tire. will most def. buy these again. Full set for under 200 great deal

great value - jp   IN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: just plain good tires
Cons: took a little more weight to balance than I'd like

I've had these on my 05Buell XB12R for a few hundred miles now and my initial impression is VERY positive. The first word that came to mind after riding them was SMOOTH.They ride smooth, the turn in smooth and they just felt 'smooth'.-Turn-in isn't as sharp as some supersport tires I've run before but it is still very good. I'd rate them about on par with the Michelin Pilot Road 2's I've run, maybe a hair better. They don't 'drop in' to a corner but instead they 'roll in' smoothly.-Traction is all I need and then some. Confidence on them is VERY high and there seems to be PLENTY of grip available.-Feel feel is a pretty subjective thing but I really fell like I can tell what their doing beneath me. I REALLY like how they feel when leaned over and like I said they give me a ton of confidence. Overall I'm VERY happy with them at this point. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because mileage is still a big unknown for me. If I can get a full season 6-8000mi from them I'll be thrilled. These are PLENTY of tire for street riding and seem to be an outstanding value. If they hold up like I want I will most certainly buy another set.

    Pros: Price is right
    Cons: None yet

I haven't mounted these tires yet, but the main thing that I want to say is the price and service from Competition Accessories was fantastic. I am currently running Bridgestone BT-016's on my Busa and I got to say that they have held up well. They were about the same price that I paid for these Conti's. Hopefully the Conti's hold up just as well, cause my Busa eats tires for lunch.Gave it 4 stars because I have not used the tires yet, but for the price, who can beat it.

Nice overall tires - Stuck In Low Gear   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great price, wearing well, quiet, not a harsh ride
    Cons: Not always on sale

Being a novice to intermediate rider, I don't ride very fast, these tires are wearing well, quiet, and riding two up they don't squirm or feel iffy when going through turns. They track nicely over rain grooves and reasonably grippy in the wet. Again, I ride a bit more cautious so I can't vouch for high speed nor track days.Seems to me to be a pretty good street tire.

Good tires for the money - FJRrider   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Cheap, good dry traction, cheap, decent mileage, cheap
    Cons: Balance issues, wet traction

Bike - 2008 Yamah FJRRider - 250 lbsRiding Style - AggressiveRiding location - Nor Cal, mainly twistys, only slab when necessaryRear tire mileage - 4354 miles to the cordsFront tire mileage - 5124 milesTraction on dry roads were never an issue. Wet weather things rear tire got pretty slickery. Tire wear was decent for the price. Comparatively the mileage I got with a set of Michelin PR2 B spec rear was 5360 miles and 4985 miles for the front. Front tires on the Conti had plenty of tread left in the middle but the outsides were toast. Initial mounting and balance went well but felt a wobble in the handlebars on the first trip camping trip with the wife. Checked the balance when I got back and it was a little off. Rebalanced and it was better but always had just a little wobble when loosening the grip on the bars. Never seemed to be an issue otherwise and if I was riding hard I never even noticed. Not enough to change it anyways. Bought a new set and will see if the problem goes away this time. For the money, you can't go wrong

good mileage - licorice   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: good grip wet or dry, looks good
Cons: Road Attack 2 has no tread very centre to show wear

Have had Conti Road Attack on my BMW R1200RT previously and put Road Attack 2's on the last time. No complaints on anything, good feel of road, good grip wet or dry. Just replaced the rear with 15,000 KM on it, the front has 10,000.KM on it and still going.Likely should have replace the rear a little sooner but didn't realize how much distance I had on it. The centre stip that gets all the wear started to break down and would have been to cord soon but was still riding fine. Only negative is the Road Attack 2 has no tread across the very centre line like the Road Attack does, so no wear indicator to tell you when that very centre is worn out.I would say I am an average rider for sport touring class.

Conti Motion tires – great skins for the money. I ride an 06 Yamaha FJR and do a lot Highway mileage to get to the mountains of Virginia & West Virginia, usually fully loaded with camping gear or two up! Now on my second rear; first rear lasted 5600 miles, almost to the cords could have stretched a few hundred more but… Front tire now has 7300 and is looking great, no cupping and lots of tread left. I have found that running fully loaded I need to run Yamaha’s recommended psi, but when light no gear, no bags or top case lower the front to about 34psi and rear to 39psi. At full psi light I feel the front sometimes slips squirms in really tight turns to the apex and then rolling on power, by slightly lowering psi this feeling goes away. Back is lowered just because. Rain, different story; rear tire slips even in light rain and straight up riding. I have felt the ABS kick in on several occasions. Front – no complaints, sheds water very well even in a frog stranglers! Caveat – I always slowdown in the rain and never push the speed limit. Overall very good tire for the money! I plain on purchasing another set again from CompAcc.

I've got about 1000 miles on a set of these TKC80's on my Triumph Tiger. Only about 100 miles on gravel the rest on asphalt from back roads to interstate. The tires have been great on every surface so far. They seem to be wearing pretty good as well.
A little road buzz on asphalt, but kind of expected out of this aggessive a tread. Overall I've been happy with these tires and would buy again for mostly off road riding.

    Pros: Great Grip
Cons: 1800 miles on the back

For the price cheap these are good tires. I ride aggressively, 15 miles down a canyon road and 15 miles on side streets 5 days a week. The rear outer tire tread went away in 1800 miles. The K1200s is a heavy bike 550 lbs with lots of horse power 158, I never get more then 3000 out of any tire and I've tried them all, but for a sport tour tire they went fast. They are 100 cheaper then other Z rated sport tour tire I've tried. A lighter sport bike should see more miles. By the way I'm putting on another set.

    Pros: Great price. Good Tires
    Cons: None yet.

I give 3 stars because. Great tires not to hard but not to soft just about right. Great grip. Good at about 140mph haven't pushed them any harder. Haven't tried them in rain. The direction of the front tire tread is backwards from the back tire which kinda leave me a little worried to drive in the rain. The rear tire direction pushes the water from the center out, where the front tire pushes the water from the outside into the center. I thought it was on backwards but its on the way the arrow shows so idk. This is the reason I haven't tried them in the rain.

I could only get 5K out of the rear and the front had internal damage bands slipping or separating so I had to remove the front after only 1500 miles. Wobbled like a mother If the pair price was 50.00 less I might reconsider, but no. My Road-Smarts area much better tire and I will be trying the PR3's soon.

Pros: Last fairly long, good price
Cons: Not a trustworthy compound, slides under braking, slides more when heated up

Bought one of these for my zx-14 to see if they would perform as well as the shinko 009 raven. What a mistake The Shinko beats this tire in every aspect. It grips ok but get it too hot or touch a brake a tad too much and prepare for some drifting or off-roading. I'm sure on the smaller bikes it could be adequate but I'd rather spend the same amount of money on the Shinko. They grip better, last longer and are very confidence inspiring whereas the Conti just isn't. You can never really trust it.

The best thing about these tires is the price. I was not impressed with the overall performance at all. I had little confidence in the handling and the wet grip was sub-par. I have C14, maintain the tire pressures, don't do burn outs but like to wheelie and the rear flat spotted bad here in HeILLINOSIS at 3,400 miles and was at the center cord at less than 3,900 miles with only 500 of those miles 2 up. Just as a comparison on the same bike same riding style Pilot Road 2's two sets have averaged 10,000 miles and that was not worn to the point you could see the cord. The PR2's handle MUCH better in every way especially in the wet.
The front tire may have had 1/2 life remaining but I would only use it in a emergency now. I switched back PR2's last night and my lil' Connie and I are back in love.
