Best 90-10 tire for adventure touring - mrsoup   IN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Superb dry handlinggreat in wetgood gravel tractiondecent longevityquiet
Cons: Tread life not the best in class

I have had 2 sets of these Trail Attack ll Contis and will be ordering a 3rd set soon for my 1200GS.I really like the handling on dry roads- as good as an sport touring tire that I have usedHandling in the rainwet inspires confidence with no problemsVery quiet compared to most Adventure Touring tiresI have averaged 9,000 in useable tread life with the sets that I have owned. Not quite as good as the Michelins but I prefer the Contis overall.

Trail Attack - KY BMW GS   KY Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: The best wet weather tire for large ADV bikes
Cons: Have not found a negative with this tire

I have a R1100GS with just shy of 90,000. 90 of my riding is Road 10 gravelhard pack. I have used all the other main brands of tires. Trail Attack 2 offer the best durability and performance of any tire I have used.

great mileage --- - frank s.   GA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes

    Cons: none

got over 21,000 highway miles on this tire on my 650 vstrom ,most ever on any tire on a motorcycle for me . stops and handles well . this will be the second one when i mount it . these come stock on bmw 1200 gs so must work pretty well ------------

conti trail attack 2 - phil martin   MO Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: great traction, wet or dry, great mileage
    Cons: haven't found any

This is my second set of the continental conti trail attack 2 for good reason. I got more than 10,000 miles on the first set with excellent traction in all situations. I don't ride off road with my GS so I wanted a tire more tuned to paved roads and these have exceeded expectations. Nicely done.

great tire - RW   NY Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Quiet, excellent traction wet or dry, good mileage
Cons: A little slippery on loose gravel when nearing end of tread life.

Have 8k on set on R1200GSA. Still has a couple of thou. left on tread. This is two-up loaded and going fast. Best I could get under similar conditions is 8k on Torrance. This by far has the best feel of any tires I have tried.

Continental for RGS1200 - - CCF BMW R1200GSA   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Great tire. Great brand
Cons: Untested for off road but looking forward to trying them on unpaved

I've been a fan of Continental tires for years... from mountain bikes, 525, M3 as well as my R1200 GSA. I've selected these tires to try a smoother tread compared to the TKC 80s I've had. There great on street, and confident they'll be adequate for fire roads, but not sure anything softer would be advised. I look forward to trying them on PA's state roads in Pine Creek Valley region.I would have opted for the TKC 70s, but the price was significantly more.
