    Pros: price quality value
    Cons: none so far

I really like this set of tires, I've used many different brands but think this is my best value, granted my bike is no powerhouse NC700X but I ride on the street not the track, since I bought the first set I bought another set

Budget-minded performance - Half-Click Up   LA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Superior grip-to-wear ratio.
    Cons: None so far.

Okay, I've seen reviews on this tire that range from Horrible to BUY THEM My review is based on first hand experience of going through the ContiMotion's full life span. I ran this tire from brand new to the center belts showing. On a 2009 Yamaha FZ6R, I was able to get around 11,000 miles out of the rear before belts began to show. The front is still on there, as it is wearing slower than the rear. I project getting somewhere around 13,000 miles out of the front. I commute daily on my bike, and hit the twisties on the weekends. So, my riding style ranges from commuter to mildly aggressive. During aggressive riding, I've never experienced a slip out, and that's with nearly scraping peg. The rubber compound is hybrid, just like other leading performance tires, like the Angel GT for example. I've read reviews that say to stay home with this tire if it's raining. Truth be told, I get caught in downpours regularly and haven't had a slip out on wet roads. Riding wet roads has a lot more to do with common riding sense than it does with what tire you run. Bottom line, is I replaced my rear with another ContiMotion because, given my positive experience, there's absolutely no reason not to for the price. Give 'em a run, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Great Tire, very pleased - Ed   VA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Cost, quality, grip
Cons: None yet, expect a little less mileage than other touring tires

This was a deal I couldn't refuse. 85.00 for a Sport touring tire 18055-17 Z My Pirelli Angel GT on the rear lasted about 7300miles. Pretty Good considering Dunlop Sport Q2's and Q3's in the past couldn't get close to 4K miles. The surprise is that this tire feels really great, not sticky, just planted. The Pirelli never felt that way, always like a super hard over stiff tire. It never felt confident The Dunlops pure Sport Tire were sticky in every situation inspiring extreme confidence. I've had Pirelli Diablo Corsa Tires and they were slightly less grippy than the Dunlops, almost insignificant, but lasted a few hundred more milesI highly recommend the Conti Motion Sport Touring tire. Will update with miles if I can when they expire.Ride Safe

After about 500 miles or so on these tires, I'm really liking them and will probably purchase them again. Only thing left to see is how well they last. My initial impressions are very positive

    Cons: [None]

Just drove from Michigan to FL and back on these tires. Went thru rain. They worked great.

Conti Motion Sport Touring Tires - DaveB   MN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good wet and dry traction for my riding style. Good milage and wear resistance.
Cons: Little tread noise at speed but not annoying.

This is my second set of Conti Motion for my Breva 1100 Moto Guzzi. OEM were Metzler 880's, got tired of paying 350 a set. The Continental's do me just fine, ride smooth, wear well. Very good tire for the price. Great value.

Great Bang for your Buck - SpaceRatt420   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Excellent Price, appearance and grip in all weather
    Cons: none

I picked these up as a replacement set for the Pirelli's that picked up a nail after only 3000 miles. The price was a major factor in my purchase of these and boy did I get my moneys worth. Long wearing, fantastic grip in most instances better than what I got with my Pirelli's fast break in. I've ridden in all conditions but snow and the grip was amazing. Had the misfortune in early Jan 2015 to have my car break down and my only option was to ride my 2008 650r into work, it was 7 degrees and the windchill at speed was -24, and still I was amazed by the grip, especially at those temps normally I ride until we get to the low 30's here in Wisconsin I can tell you when the time comes to replace them it will be with another pair of Conti Motions The best affordable tires I've ever ownedridden on

Great tire for the price - Gene Cervantes   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: great tire wear and tire life, great price for a set
    Cons: a little hard compound

Wow this my 3rd set cont's and I love them, I have them on my Gsxr1000 which I take to work and take long rides on. These tires are great sport touring tires and with the price for them you can't go wrong I save alot cash and get long life out of fhem.

Great Tire - Continental Conti Motion Sport   MO Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Price very reasonable, good grip.
    Cons: Don't see any.

Mounted this tire on my 2001 Suzuki Bandit 1200S. Had it for about a thousand miles, and so far it handles great in the curves, has good grip, and not showing much wear.

Conti Motion Review - TourCommute with some Sport   FL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Great Price & Appearance
    Cons: Grip

I have put 500 miles or so on these Continentals. I bought the Front & Rear set for a great price, made even better by the Comp Acc cash that I had in my account. I am very pleased so far with these tires. I commute mostly on my 04 VFR and go on a Spirited group ride once or twice a month and these tires are definitely up to the task. Will see how they fare over the next several months.Rob in Tampa, FL

Continental Conti Motion Sport Touring Radial Tires - IronAngel   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Nice for the price.
    Cons: none found ... yet

I bought these because of price. I mounted them myself onto my 2008 Kawasaki Concours 14. I have almost 1000 miles on them, so far, and see no noticeable wear. Now I use my bike to commute 37.5 miles to work each way. I replaced a set of PR2s that were on the bike when I purchased her. I mainly ride at the posted peed limit and most of my ride is straight with very few curves. I had read reviews that folks were getting 8k miles out of these and if so then these are indeed a GREAT bargain compaired to the big names, PR3s and Angel GTs to name a couple... The pair of tires cost me what 1 PR3 costs...I hope to get at least 7k or 4 months wear out of these.I don't know if I can update at a later time but will see.

The service from Comp Acc, is the best. Tires arrived about 27 hours after ordering.

Great value - bladenbullet   FL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: excellent wet traction, good mileage
    Cons: Not nail proof...lol...

Very pleased with a sport oriented rear tire that lasts over 6000 miles of spirited riding...front still has plenty to go and a nail has forced rear replacement with a possible 500-1000 miles left. The tires are mounted on a Kawasaki ZRX1100 which is a daily ride in southwest Forida.

Great price. Have a Conti motion on the rear and it's been fine so far 3000mi. The price made them too good to pass up.

Conti Motion - Mike K   NC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Low cost very good tire
    Cons: None

This is the second time I have purchased a Conti Motion tire. The first time was for my cross country trip last year. I wanted to try the Motion because of its price point. As a daily year round rider I go through alot of tires. I would typically use Conti's Road Attacks and have used them for years. I prefer their feel and predictability. On my cross country trip the Motions were subjected to several different surfaces from rural road, highway, dirt road and some minor off road. I was happy to see that the Motion held up just fine and I beleive are comparible to the Road Attack without the higher price. The wear was on par with what I was getting from the Attack as well. I replaced them in Seattle before there time only because I had alot of miles to cover heading East and would have needed to change them somewhere through that section. I did not want to take chances with a worn out tire in the middle of nowhere ND. I consider myself a moderatly agressive rider and subject my tires to various conditions. I am confident in recommending these tires to any typical street rider.

    Cons: none

These tires are awesome i have never got as low as i do in turns with any other tires like i have with these they are really great they have given me a different riding experince it may just be a tire but man it did such a big impact on how i ride thanks compacc.com P.s. they were cheap too

great tires - ifgshooter   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: good grip, great price, excellent wear.
    Cons: none

Bought these to replace a set of Bridgestones. These skins grip just as good, but don't have the center wear from freeway riding like the Bridgestones. They heat up fast a grip the pavement great. I'll definately get another set if I ever wear these out.

very happy - AtticaTiger   NY Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: great traction in wet or dry, can't beat price
    Cons: none

I was running Michelin Pilot Road 2's but decided to try these Contis on my Tiger 1050. I am impressed. I 've put a few miles on them in a five state tour.

incredible value - tomv   FL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: price, very neutral handling
Cons: none for the average rider

these tires perform very well. neutral feeling with no quirks in handling. great grip wet or dry. not a track day tire but for the average rider they will perform very well. it appears the wear will be good and even judging by the first 1000 miles. i am very happy with this selection.

Conti Motions - Mike K   NC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Good grip and wear
    Cons: None at this time

I have been using Continental tires on my bikes for many years. In the past 6 years I used the previous generation Road Attacks and the new RA2's. Because I go through several sets of tires per year and it gets pretty costly, I wanted to see how the Motions held up compared to the Road Attacks. At this point I have several thousand miles on this set of Motions and I am very happy with them. They have worn very well and I can not feel any difference in traction from the Road Attacks. I would say these are the best bang for the buck for me and will certainly get another set when needed.

    Im Impressed!!!
Bought a set for my 05 zzr1200 and wasn't sure what to expect. I ride in western NY and put 15k on a year, and really abuse this zzr and tires. Since going through so many tires, I figured why not try em out! Anyway here we are and I killed the rear down to the cord at 6600mi.!!!! The front looks and feels new with no irregularities and am going to use with the next new Motion rear! The rear tire wore true and even, all the way to the edge, like I said, Impressed, cause I use this zzr. Rear tire went about 5200k until the wear bar. Traction was good but a little lose when goosed from the light making a turn with heavy throttle, but VERY predictable, feedback was also very good. Anyway, for money, you cant beet em, the ZZR is heavy and powerful, so it was a good test. I am a three season rider and rain doesn't stop me, and again the tire performed good in the rain, good traction and very predictable, never did it give me a reason to hesitate. BTW this is the first time I have put a less expensive set of tires on this bike, owned since new and now has 51k on it, so I've tried a lot of tires. Don't know if it matters but the rear is made in Germany and the front is made in Korea! I Know, but they work

    Pros: Good Wear, cost
    Cons: Not great in rain

I go through tires every season on my K1200RS, these have held up well and on my second pair. Not especially grippy but get about 6K miles before front starts to cup and wear bad. Rear breaks free from a standing start pretty easily if raining and will square off in 6k miles.

Conti Motion Sport Tire - Mike   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great tire for the price.
    Cons: None

Great tire for the price. Bought the set and received them in one day. Good tire for my daily commute.

Hard to resist at this price - spadge   AR Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: half the price of PR4s. neutral handling. did I mention great price
    Cons: None so far

My C14 eats tires at a healthy rate and I needed a front and back tire replacement. The package deal offered was just too good not to try. Rode on Contis back in the day and am pleased to see that they are still a solid tire. Taken out to the edge they do nothing surprising. On the interstate they are immune to rain grooves. I only have about 1k on them so no feel for their longevity but if you mount your own tires these tires at this price, well that's an easy call.

ContiMotion Tires - Yamadog   NC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Super grip. Price.
    Cons: Milage

I ride my FJR mostly on twisties and were going through tires within 4k or less. Bought these to replace my PR2s because of the price mostly. Pleased with the handling of the tire and grip is great. Don't know how good they are in the wet yet. I have just under 1k on them and they do show signs of wear but that's to be expected for the aggresive riding. I can buy 2 sets of these instead of one set of PR2s and still be ahead.

conti motion rear - ken   NC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: price and useability
Cons: might not be super sticky

I have one of these on another bandit I own and needed an rear for another seems like a good tire for the price no complaints.

great value - jp   IN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: just plain good tires
Cons: took a little more weight to balance than I'd like

I've had these on my 05Buell XB12R for a few hundred miles now and my initial impression is VERY positive. The first word that came to mind after riding them was SMOOTH.They ride smooth, the turn in smooth and they just felt 'smooth'.-Turn-in isn't as sharp as some supersport tires I've run before but it is still very good. I'd rate them about on par with the Michelin Pilot Road 2's I've run, maybe a hair better. They don't 'drop in' to a corner but instead they 'roll in' smoothly.-Traction is all I need and then some. Confidence on them is VERY high and there seems to be PLENTY of grip available.-Feel feel is a pretty subjective thing but I really fell like I can tell what their doing beneath me. I REALLY like how they feel when leaned over and like I said they give me a ton of confidence. Overall I'm VERY happy with them at this point. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because mileage is still a big unknown for me. If I can get a full season 6-8000mi from them I'll be thrilled. These are PLENTY of tire for street riding and seem to be an outstanding value. If they hold up like I want I will most certainly buy another set.

The Conti we're not even shipped within 3 days.

Great Price and Service - BusaBob's Racing   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Price is right
    Cons: None yet

I haven't mounted these tires yet, but the main thing that I want to say is the price and service from Competition Accessories was fantastic. I am currently running Bridgestone BT-016's on my Busa and I got to say that they have held up well. They were about the same price that I paid for these Conti's. Hopefully the Conti's hold up just as well, cause my Busa eats tires for lunch.Gave it 4 stars because I have not used the tires yet, but for the price, who can beat it.

Great Bang for Buck - Jason   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes

Nice overall tires - Stuck In Low Gear   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great price, wearing well, quiet, not a harsh ride
    Cons: Not always on sale

Being a novice to intermediate rider, I don't ride very fast, these tires are wearing well, quiet, and riding two up they don't squirm or feel iffy when going through turns. They track nicely over rain grooves and reasonably grippy in the wet. Again, I ride a bit more cautious so I can't vouch for high speed nor track days.Seems to me to be a pretty good street tire.

Conti Motion - K1200s   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Great Grip
Cons: 1800 miles on the back

For the price cheap these are good tires. I ride aggressively, 15 miles down a canyon road and 15 miles on side streets 5 days a week. The rear outer tire tread went away in 1800 miles. The K1200s is a heavy bike 550 lbs with lots of horse power 158, I never get more then 3000 out of any tire and I've tried them all, but for a sport tour tire they went fast. They are 100 cheaper then other Z rated sport tour tire I've tried. A lighter sport bike should see more miles. By the way I'm putting on another set.

AAA - Nathan I   OK Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Great price. Good Tires
    Cons: None yet.

I give 3 stars because. Great tires not to hard but not to soft just about right. Great grip. Good at about 140mph haven't pushed them any harder. Haven't tried them in rain. The direction of the front tire tread is backwards from the back tire which kinda leave me a little worried to drive in the rain. The rear tire direction pushes the water from the center out, where the front tire pushes the water from the outside into the center. I thought it was on backwards but its on the way the arrow shows so idk. This is the reason I haven't tried them in the rain.

I contacted Continental tire & all they offered were excuses. Not wanting to wait for thereplacement, I purchased another brand of tire from the shop that mounted the tire Pilot Rd. installedit, problem solved. It took about a week an a half to receive my replacement tire from Competition Acc.but I can not say enough good things on there behalf, they made the tire good, more than I can sayfor Continental an there pour support an slow to respond to the problem

The best thing about these tires is the price. I was not impressed with the overall performance at all. I had little confidence in the handling and the wet grip was sub-par. I have C14, maintain the tire pressures, don't do burn outs but like to wheelie and the rear flat spotted bad here in HeILLINOSIS at 3,400 miles and was at the center cord at less than 3,900 miles with only 500 of those miles 2 up. Just as a comparison on the same bike same riding style Pilot Road 2's two sets have averaged 10,000 miles and that was not worn to the point you could see the cord. The PR2's handle MUCH better in every way especially in the wet.
The front tire may have had 1/2 life remaining but I would only use it in a emergency now. I switched back PR2's last night and my lil' Connie and I are back in love.
