Good all climate sporty tire - Popeye   ON Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great sport touring, high mileage rated, grip in rain, cold, uneven roads, leaned over or dirt
Cons: 30 heavier streering feel than a sport tire, paint lines slip lots if wet, less if dry.

Comes OEM on the new 2015 Yamaha FZ-07 in pearl for the wife. Strange the Michelin Roads are OEM only on the red FZ-07. Very pleasantly surprised how quickly the bt-023 warms up using recommended tire pressures. They stick to the edges with confidence just after its break-in use. Just a little heavier steering feel perhaps a heavier tire at low speeds than the Pirelli SRC that I noticed but respectable more sporty than touring. I was soon doing weaves and aggressive turns on her bike with out worry. I was expecting the same bad experiences as I found with the bt-003 sport tire OEM on a 2012 Triumph but no these actually grip great in all conditions on the street when cold, warmup was much quicker 2-4min, sticky enough on wet roads not as good on wet paint, more sticky leaned over on dry or wet rough roads, allows weaves on roads with a solid stable foot print, hitting brakes hard was much effort to rear slip. During the 600mile new bike break, the tires still look new with no odd wear behaviors. I have the Pirelli SRC on my Triumph STR and Bridgstone BT-023 are almost as sticky on street conditions except on paint lines and I noticed only a tiny somewhat sooner rear limit reached slippage during aggressive lean braking and in corner hard downshifts. Very high speed streettrack riding recommends faster wearing stickier compounds but down on street speeds Bt-023 is impressive confidence inspiring.

Best Tire - Zagitus   GA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Longevity and Grip
    Cons: None

Bridgestone has had a not so good reputation for Motorcycle tires. But i can attest that this is not true Simply put, these tires give you great mileage and great grip for a street tire. I got approximately 7000 miles out of my rear and approximately 10000 miles out of my front I am by no means a great rider but i am by no means a bad rider either You can say im a 6 or 7 out of 10, I have also done a track day on them and experienced great grip with these tires on the track Bottom line, these tires are the best bang for you buck and.... you get great mileage out of them in comparison to other tires that give you much less mileage Mich, Dun, Met. Pros: grip from beginning to end
    Cons: haven't found any yet

I've run Dunlop's years ago, tried Pirellis super coursa dragons but the transition from up to leaned had a spot that caused a wobble, and on the street it was noticeable, but these BT-003 roll right to the edge and grip great

Pros: 7500 miles GRIP Stable Smooth Fast
    Cons: None

I Have used Polit Road 2's in the past, wich was my old favorite mabey slightly sportier. I now have a new favorite, Bridgstone BT-023's ROCK I put about 960 miles a week in the summer commuting to Show Low through canyons, mt. roads and highways. Just got 7500 miles out of my first rear and will probably get 11k plus out of the front as it still looks pretty new. The rear finished of close to showing belt in the center and almost all of the sticky used up, just got stickier as it wore.Definitely buy more of these tiresHOLT73

Pros: Grip hard, great in rain.
    Cons: Wear fast.

These tires are a great price. There great on the road as far as gripping, you will never slide out. But you will only get between 3,400-3,800 miles on these tires. I don't do burn outs, but I run 100-130mph wherever I'm going. But all in all there a great tire for the price.

Pros: Good street grip. Good street mileage.good price
    Cons: [None]

I got a nail in a fairley new BT-016. Got this one at a pretty good price. They are no longer track day rubber, like I have used them in the past, but for a street ride, on a street bike, I have no complaints.

    Pros: Price and performance

Tire was used on a BMW R1200RT. Wore out 2 sets averaging 7,000 miles with moderate riding, very little Interstate travel. Be sure to get GT model for a heavier bike.

Awesome Dual Duty Tire - Maki   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Unparalleled grip on the track and in the canyons in the world of DOT performance.
    Cons: None

Aside from the R10 which can only be purchased from a BS race tire dealer, this is Bridgestone's flagship DOT tire. I've gone through numerous sets at the track and in the canyons, and it has NEVER failed to deliver excellent grip. Although not as light as the equivalent Michelin, it will last a little longer and costs less. Definitely not as heavy as the Dunlop Q2 - those are HEAVY I know, I mount and balance my tires by myself. If you want a great tire that is good on and off the track that won't break the bank, look no further. Keep a good PSI depending on your venue and you're golden. At Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA, I've been able to get two track days out of one set, providing you flip them before the second day mostly left handers there, so they wear unevenly. Running in Level 2 on a 2005 Honda RC51 SP2, getting into the high 40s is no problem with these tires. I was surprised how early I could open the throttle in the turns. Once they get really, really hot at a decent pace, they can get a little greasy as any DOT non-slick can get - remember, this is still a street tire, but TOTALLY PREDICTABLE and CONTROLLABLE. Other tires will just give on you and you can lowside pretty quick, but with these BT-003RS tires, a little throttle modulation and no problemTry them. You won't be disappointed. There's a reason why MotoGP premier class uses Bridgestone. You'll see why.

Pros: Great grip, great tread life, never really aggressively leanded in the rain, but did some mad swerves with it and it held up quite well
Cons: None so far, going on second set

Overall for the price it's well worth the money and you wont be disappointed with the money spent on these, you figure it being so cheap it wouldn't perform as well but guess again, highly recommended

I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. My bike, 2004 Yamaha FZ-1 came with BT-021's and the front tire cupped from front braking 15k on them. I have had two set of the BT-023's on my. No cupping of front tire. I have averaged 15-16k miles, I ride two-up most of the time. I have never been in the rain with them but on dry surface the grip is awesome! I feel very confident with these tires!

Really good tire. Does everything well. Better grip than the Michelin Pilot Power especially when still warming up. Not as much mileage as Michelin, but you don't get much mileage out of any of the ultra sport tires. Compatible to Dunlop Q2 for grip and mileage.

great tire - Joe   FL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: good grip
    Cons: none so far

I just replaced my bt016 with the bt023R on my R6. my bike is my daily ride to work so I needed something that will last a little longer than a few thousand miles. the 016's were wonderful in the corners but wore a flat spot from commuting. so far the 023 has very good grip when i feel up for the curvy way home. no complaints yet. the tire went on pretty easy, balanced nicely, does good in the rain and wet conditions. only gave it 4 stars because i havent had it long enough to tell what kind of mileage i'll get out it.

Great hyper tire. Gives a high degree of confidence when at high lean angles. Slow but predictable steering due to shape of front.

BT-016 - So cal R1   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Great feedback and grip
Cons: Extra effort required to stand bike up

Great street and track day tire. Heats up quickly resulting in confident turn it. I have not ridden these in wet conditions, but I'm confident with the high silica content the tires will do well. My only surprise with the BT-016 was the Michelin type feeling that the tire likes being at full lean and is a bit more work to stand up out of the corners than previous BT tires. Don't get me wrong, this is not a bad thing, the grip and feeback is excellent, and worth the little extra work to stand the bike up. I have already purchased my second set they're in the garage ready to mount.

I put this tire on my 1985 BMW K100RT last year. Mileage ridden for the year was just over 5000. The center tread is almost worn out and will have to be replaced this year. Good performance, but too much wear.

2 stars street, 5 stars track - Popeye   Recommended by Reviewer: No
Pros: Mileage, cools quick, sticky for track or if you live in hot climate.
Cons: 10-12 min warmup time, Not safe for cold climate, cooldown conditions

Comes OEM on 2012 Triumph street triple and I was very disappointed with how waxy slippery these tires were for the 1st 5 min use or if stuck in stopgo traffic or cold rain or near frost climate. These are so unpredictable when cold that I could not trust if I had grip after traffic stops They are also very stiff when cold and do not flex over bumps when cooled off. They cool off very fast which is what a race tire should do. I did find they stick well and nimble when hot and kept hot by driving quick and agressive which is breaking laws drive on streets. Cold fall evening, I had to drop my left foot once or crash in a slow sharp turn slip out in the 1st 3-4 min leaving from work. I've used Dunlop, Metzeler, Pirelli tires in cold weather angles and this was the greasiest feel of all. Warning for racing track use only and bet these will do well in hot suituations.

Gone already - Too Hot   Recommended by Reviewer: No
    Pros: Good grip and feel.
    Cons: Short life

After being disappointed the the life span of the BT021, I was really hoping for much better with the BT023GT. No such luck. I got 4400 miles with only moderate riding which was almost completely one up. I see others giving this tire good reviews for durability but I went on a weekend trip and after arriving at the campground the tire was down to the wear bar and showing some cupping. This is disappointing since it has such a good feel to it. I had to buy a tire from a dealer on the road and pay to have it mounted which means a lot of extra expense. I believe that Bridgestone has a serious quality control problem with this tire. Some last some don't. Too bad I was on the losing end. I really liked the way this tire felt in all conditions.
