Full Spec Sport Touring Radial offering consistent performance between touring and sport riding.
Consistent sport-touring performance: Bridgestone aims to strengthen its position in the sport-touring sector of the replacement motorcycle tire market with the launch of the Battlax BT-023 in February 2010. The advanced new tire significantly upgrades the performance of the BT-021 it replaces, both in the key touring areas of mileage and wet performance, as well as by meeting the handling expectations of the most demanding sport riders.
Mileage – wet performance: The tire provides superb wear life and wet cornering thanks to the re-designed angle-groove pattern and Silica Rich Ex compound with “RC polymer”.
Comfort and stability: Both the front and rear tires are constructed with Bridgestone’s proven Mono Spiral Belt (MSB) technology, providing top-level grip, shock absorption and straight-line stability at speed.
With a 3 Layer Compound (3LC) on the rear tire, the shoulder compound gives reassuring grip through corners while the center compound with its wide contact area adds stability and smoothness when cruising. The result is a confident ride, with rich feedback and a secure contact feel in all conditions.
New tread pattern and rubber compound deliver long mileage, high level of wet performance, a comfortable ride, and good grip.
3LC (Dual Compound) technology for rear tire provides good stability and wear life in center and strong grip and bump absorption in shoulder of tire.
Silica plus RC polymer (assists silica effect and controls rubber properties) enhances wet performance and wear life.

I put these tires on my BMW after hearing they would give me better tread life and wet traction than the BT-020s I had been running. Have about 2000 miles on them and they still look new. Took a long trip to IL this past weekend and was able to really push the tires. They handle great. Hopefully will last longer too. I will definitely recommend them to may buddies.
Recently put these on my Triumph. I used to use the BT-020 and the 021s. These new tires are very impressive. They handled well in shows and heavy down pours. Later when dry they gripped very well also. Have only put on about 1500 miles, so can't tell on the wear yet.

I have better mileage and overall performance with the BT023 than any of the other Dunlop, Conti, Michelin tires I have tried on my BMW K1200RS. 10,500 miles on the front and 7,000 miles on the rear. Bridgestone's are harder to mount on the rim, but this tire is an overall great value. Thanks to CompAcc for price matching as well.
I mostly use the bike to commute on the highway. I have some freinds that have run the BT-021 and said it was OK. So, I really wasn't expecting much, but at this price I had to try them. Let me tell you, on the this tire is great. It grabs the turns is like a race tire. I haven't had a chance to run long miles, but the life seems to be an improvement from the previous tires I have ran.
Better than Conti Motions BUT - Perko IL

Pros: Very good grip wet or dry
I ran the GT version on my C14 and liked the feel but they only would've lasted a max of 7,000 miles where my old faithful PR2's would go 10,000 riding the flat boring roads of HeILLinois. I had to change them out so I could get home from the N. Jawgah mountains without fear of running the centers down at the 6,500 mile mark. They held well blasting around RTs 6019. As a note I only got 4,000 out of a set of Conti Motions and they were showing wire with no abuse and proper pressures.
