Great service and product - Krenzke   MO Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great product shipped quickly even during Christmas season
Cons: None that I can see yet

Great product and was shipped to arrive before Christmas, is a present for our daughter. Will come back to Comp Accessories for future purchases.

Excellent Value - GSCHICK   IL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good fit, lots of features, excellent qulity, good visibility
Cons: slightly heavier than other models, but not so much that it isn't worth the savings

Already looking to purchase another for my dad because he was really impressed with it

Glad I found it - hillbilly biker   WI Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: good fit and quality, smooth operation, easy shield changes
    Cons: a little noisy

Great helmet from bell. I looked everywhere for the EVO Skratch modular and had very little luck finding one in my size Med because they are a discontinued style. Only other option was over 200.

Bell is back - Redflagharley   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great fit, ease of operation, comfort, light weight and looks great
Cons: The iridium replacement visits are extremely over priced

I was hesitant to purchase this because of poor quality bell helmets I had purchased in the past. My general rule, if wal-mart stocks the brand, I won't buy it. Wow was I surprised This is a great helmet. From the outside it has a sharp modern design with vintage graphics, on the inside, it's superb fit coupled with great comfort and usability make this a great buy.

Bell Revolver EVO Skratch - Sean C   AZ Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Convenient, Comfortable, Looks Killer
Cons: Make sure you order one size up

I have been riding with this helmet every day for about two months now. I commute on a Harley Road Glide Custom for about 50 miles round trip, Monday through Friday. As I live in South Western Arizona, I don't have to deal with rain much, but I do ride through a lot of wind, bugs, rocks, sand and plenty of heat. My commute starts in the dark early morning and ends in bright daylight mid afternoon. I have added the transition shield sold by Bell to the helmet as well. For my situation, this helmet is as close to perfect as it's going to get. Gone is the hassle of changing shields and trying to carry around sunglasses and an extra shield to compensate for all of the different light conditions. Any legitimate complaint that any of my friends might have about a full face helmet is erased by the super easy to use chin bar on this helmet. The internal sun shade also easy to use provides plenty of coverage and I have forgotten several times that I even had it down in place. The comfort of the helmet is excellent.......with the chin bar down. While I never ride with it up, after a few minutes of sitting with it open puts a bit of pressure on your forehead. I have owned many high end helmets Shoei, Arai, Shark, and I have to say it is amazing how much quality Bell puts into a helmet at this price point. The liner is very comfy, and the chin strap with the magnet retainer is super slick. I cannot speak as to how the quiet the helmet would be on a bike with no fairing or windscreen, but I have found the EVO to be quieter than the Bell Star I was riding with before. Because of that, I don't think this helmet flows as much air with the shield chin bar down as the Star, but again that is all adjustable. With the addition of the auto darkening shield, this becomes a one size fits all solution to riding in varied conditions. I think anyone with a full face has gotten sick and tired of carrying and changing out their shields before every ride, I know I did, and this set up was the cure. While looks aren't everything, they are something, and this helmet kicks butt in that department. The fit and finish are par for Bell, and the paint job is sick....big ups to Skratch for making a full face that I am proud to wear. Seems like a custom fit for me and my black denim Road Glide. The only thing you must pay attention to is the sizing...it is different for these helmets, and Bell covers it in the sizing charts....you just gotta read them. I wear a Large comfortably in pretty much every helmet including Bell, but not this one. If I had not ordered an XL, I woulda been SOL. So there ya go...my two cents

Bell Revolver Helmet - Cychotic   NC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Modular design, cool graphics, built in sun visor, comfortable
    Cons: None

Great product. I would get this item again. Great price.

Tupelo Ms - Terry   MS Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Fit is great, Wind noise better than most modulars. Air flow is good.
    Cons: [None]

This is a great modular helmet. Wind noise is moderate, air flow is great, vision is great, no wind drag or buffeting, this helmet rides like a 4 to 500 dollar helmet. Bell did a great job with this, and at the price you can couple it with the transitional SOLFX Shield and have a great set up for any conditions.

Not bad at all - Lucas   IA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Construction, sunshade, visor, magnetic chinstrap, modular
    Cons: Finish

This is a great helmet all around. I am a somewhat new rider, so I don't have a ton to compare my opinions to in terms of other helmets, but these are my thoughts- This is a SOLID helmet. It's very well constructed, and easy to adjust and operate. - The ventilation works nicely.- The modular flip function works great with just one button. It makes wearing glasses WAY less of a hassle.Cons- The finish is a little delicate. After one ride, I had a 14 chunk of paint missing from mine, and I didn't even get hit by anything Definitely take care of this helmet or it will look beat up quickly.- The sunshade has a really dumb nose chunk cut out of it, even though it's nowhere near my nose. It would be much nicer if the sunshade were a whole shade rather than this shape

Dude it's a Bell - Havoc   MI Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Fit, Style, versatilty
Cons: Magnet chin strap a bit tricky

I have been looking at this helmet for a year and the picture doesn't do the helmet justice. It looks I had read bad reviews about wind noise and wind coming under the chin guard. I am used to a 34 helmet trying to rip my head off past 50mph, so my thought it is extremely quiet and very aerodynamic. The XL still fits tight that I have to open the face to put the helmet on, but still feels secure and comfrotable. The price for an Honest Bell helmet is hard to beat, especially for this one

    Pros: Benjamin Ivan Perez
    Cons: None

    Great helmet, I'm enjoying it.

Helmet - Josh   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great fit, looks awesome, love the modular design
    Cons: nothing as of yet

Very pleased with compacc's customer service as I ordered a helmet too small, they refunded easily and got me the right size within a week. WILL definatly be order from this company again in the future. As for the helmet it is awesome, can't wait for the weather to warm up. Probably will opt for the auto darkening shield in the next coming months.

modular Race-like helmet - Erwin   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: race-like helmet design with the convenience of a flip-up and internal visor
Cons: a little heavy...3lbs, 15oz, and inner-shield fogs up without treatment

I needed to find a helmet that allowed me to conveniently look down while accessing my wallet in gas stations, and discovered Competition Accessories great review on this fantastic helmet...and to pay the closeout price was an extra bonus. In comparison to my Shoei X-12, the shell of the Revolver XS-Med is 2cm shorter and only 1cm taller same width, but Bell flows much more air. And, at 130mph, there was no buffeting or abnormal movement, especially during head-checks...and performs like my 700 Shoei X12 race-helmet. This is a great bargain for all the features found in this helmet. BTW I recommend using the SolFX transition shield 120 extra with the inner visor during sunset and sunrise when the sun shines directly in your field of view.

evo skratch pin stripe - BIGSIR   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: nice fit, not to heavy, stylish mod.
    Cons: [None]

Love this helmet. Looks like a streetbike helmet but is actually a mod helmet. Plenty of space in ear slots for speakers if you want to add them and will still be comfortable. Nice airflow from vents but not to loud while riding. All around, great look, fit, and weight

Revolver Helmet - Ernie   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: excellent design and venting features, easy access to operate
Cons: a bit heavier that standard full face helmet

The helmet I tried on previous to purchase on line fit quite well. Unfortunately, the unit I received has a gap between the cheek and forehead pads that results in contact with a hard surface that impacts me on each temple. This should be an easy fix for Bell. If this can be accommodated, it is definitely a keeper.

Great helmet, definitely smaller than others - diyguy   ME Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Great look, functions well
    Cons: small than you'd think

Great helmet. It looks amazing, and functions great. I have no trouble using the visor, flipping the front up - makes putting on and taking off, as well as using glasses very convenient. Some other reviews mentioned that the fit was small compared to other helmets, going by the chart. I wrote them off as the simple product of there being so many head shapes that maybe a few folks found it to not fit right. Don't write those off. The helmet is definitely very tight compared to other brands with the same size listing. Still a great helmet. Order one size up.

Great purchase at decent price - Harleyvrodder   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: stellar look and great shape
Cons: kinda noisey at highway speeds

This is my second Bell Revolver EVO. I actually own a matte black one and I purchased this one for the lady. She loves it. Stylish look and comfortable. The only downside is that it is a bit noisey and the front face gets stuck sometimes when pulling up. the vision is quick and easy to replace. Just the perfect weight. The d-ring and magnet worked great for a few weeks until the magnet fell off. Now i just tuck the extra strap under the tight side and it works fine and not flapping around. I ride a 2013 Harley V-rod Night Rod Special, so this thing is pretty aerodynamic at triple digit speeds. I get a lot of compliments on it.

bell revolver evo modular - dan   MN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: nice features good looking
    Cons: small

this helmet is on the small side, I ordered a medium per size chart and it is tight may be in time it will loosen up hopefully other wise it is very nice looking, the sun glass feature is very nice. over all I would buy another but I would order 1 size larger

Decent Helmet - Sportster Fan   TN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Lgood airflow and nice anti fog shield
    Cons: Weight and molding

Overall happy with the purchase. The helmet is loud but that was expected with the modular. The front molding separated after 3 rides and had to glue it back on. Luckily it didn't fly off on s ride. I also have an Arai Rxq so compared to that helmet it's louder and heavier. Overall for the price though I like the helmet.

Almost, not quite... - foambuilder   ID Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Hinge functions as described, nice finish, handy to have inside dark screen, outside visor onoff easily for cleaning
Cons: inside screen needs to be darker, dark screen inside needs to go out perhaps 14 to miss nose, cheek-side pads too thick- difficult to get glasses in helmet, rib seam on front top of forehead hurts like mad

I was not wild about the colors, but it was on sale and I wanted a modular helmet. The video reviews by xyz-company were favorable. The worst part was the top seam by the forehead that just rubbed my skull to hurting after about 1 hour of wear. I took the pads out and found the hard rubber strips to make air go through the helmet. An X-acto knife removed 58 of the center strip and 14 of the side strips and the pressure was gone. Maybe I have too pointy of a head, dunno. The other irritation is the internal visor. It will hit your nose unless you sort of pull the helmet forward a bit. It would be nice if there were a couple of height indent positions to lower the visor. The same is said for the plastic piece on the lower inside edge of helmet opening. I just removed this little piece. The last problem was trying to get sun-glasses on. OK, maybe you don't need them, but the internal shield is not very dark. I even had trouble with solid frame glasses, let alone the softer frame ones - no deal. I solved this by removing about 12 of foam cut material, resew with black thread right where glasses frames go by your ear. After these solutions I wore the helmet all day and had no problems. It was a moderate day, so sunglasses were optional. I like to ride in town with the shield up, so glasses are needed in that instance. It turned cloudy, then rain, and in these conditions, the inside visor is quite nice, and then better when it goes up and away. I will be wearing this helmet across Europe and Russia, so it has to be comfortable and work properly. The Evo is a good helmet for the price, and after some minor alterations, it works just fine. I did not remove enough of any padding or strips to harm the function of the helmet, maybe it is just head shape. That said, according to Bell's size chart I should have a Large. I bought the XL instead, so maybe these helmets run a little small. I do think it is a good value.YMMV

Bell Revolver EVO - bnhender   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Good fit, light weight
    Cons: noisy

I bought this because it has the interior sun visor. Mechanically, everything works very well. It was a little tight in the forehead, but that seems to have gone away, whether it is the padding that has molded to me head or vice-versa, I'm not sure. I like the look and wish it was a little quieter, but that is always the weak point of a modular helmet. I got this at a VERY good price, so I feel that it was worth it. Not sure it is if you are looking at other 200 helmets...as I said, I got mine for only about 140.

bell recolver - apelfy   OH Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: looks, fit, function and price
    Cons: noise

Very comfortable and all the mechanics work great and feels well built the only complaint I would have is the amount of wind noise.

love it - shannon   IA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: well fitting helmet, good visual field
Cons: feels heavy compared to last helmet, but got used to it quickly.

i am very happy with the helmet and its cost. A quality item at a fair cost.

Revolver EVO Helmet - Ronnie Tsunami   AZ Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: comfortable, stylish, Love the glasses
Cons: loud, whistles when you turn your head

This helmet has refreshingly new styling, great price, opens up fulling after removing the winter chin guard, glasses are Great Easy swapping of face shield. This helmet is however, very loud. You must wear ear protection or add noise stuffing in the ear areas. When I turn my head, I have whistling on my right side. All in all,I am very satisfied with my purchase. I have no intention of going back to the old suffocating helmets of old.

Bell Revolver - Dshrek   VA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Quality workmanship, clean look, light
Cons: Very close on room to mount communication like Scala Rider

Excellent bang for the Buck, this is the first time I own a Bell since my old Bell Star, looks great.

1st Modular - Tom   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Looks sharp, inner sunshield works well, Visor opens one click for anti fogging
Cons: Is noisier and lets in more cold

All works well, is very nice looking.Easy to latchunlatch the front portion.Inner sun shield deploy and retract works nicely. The shield will fog, though not as much as my HJC I ride when it's in the single digits if there's no snowice.Open shield to the first click and it's fine.Open ear pockets make it noisy,.It is a much cooler helmet than my HJC full face-will be fine in summer, but a bit chilly for winter riding.Nice for the price-no quality complaints.

good helmet - ethan   OH Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: the flip down sun shield is nice to have the mechanism is smooth
Cons: the chin guard that blocks out the cold air doesn't block it all out like it says

If i was to ever need another helmet i would get another bell

bell revolversun - bouvista   FL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: sunshade
Cons: front does not go high enough.

    well constructed

Good for money - Tony P   CO Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Good price, nice features
    Cons: [None]

The helmet looks nice, is very visible and has a reasonable price. It has a lot of nice features. On the downside, the latch to lift the front sticks, the shield will not stay in the up in any position above the lowest at speeds over 30 mph. Also it's not all that quiet, but at this price point it's not a bad deal

decent value at 139 or below - David JB   AZ Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: features, looks, price, shield release, air flow, ear pockets
Cons: noisy, chin curtain rubs, would like a darker Sun Shade

I bought a Nolan N85 from here this summer but now want a modular helmet. I got a medium for 139 and at this price a modular helmet with this many features is pretty good though the Gmax GM54s is cheaper right now and may be an even better value. To me, this helmet's two assets are being modular and looking great. Compared to my current helmet, this Bell helmet is measurably louder - and I wear ear buds that insert into the ear all of the time. It's too loud so I've ordered the Gmax helmet of course from here - where else would I buy from. FYI, I ride a CBR1100xx with a MRA Vario screen. I did order a molded earplug kit and we'll see if that helps. Other minor complaints are that the sun shield isn't quite dark enough but is acceptable and the chin curtain rubs on my chin, oddly enough. I have a boringly normal face so it's not me.On the positive side, the shield removal mechanism is amazing. Super easy and fast. The ear pockets are great for my ear buds I like that the sun visor extends lower than some other helmets the air flow seems great and would likely work well as a summer helmet the strap is comfortable and the magnet works great. In summary, at 79 for the XS and 109 for the S, it's a steal. At 139 for the medium it looks like the Gmax might be a better value, albeit not as good looking.

Bell revolver evo - Frank Sobatka   NJ Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great design, modular, drop down shades, nice air flow
    Cons: Very very noisey

This is a great helmet for when it comes to design and function, but one aspect that has been really bothering me is the noise. I had a seven zero seven helmet before this bell revolver evo and I'd say the noise increase is up 100. To give you an idea, the wind noise is so loud that I sometimes do not hear the exhaust on my 600rr while riding through town, will definitely retire this helmet and get a matte black bell vortex instead.

Disappointing bell lid - Bigchris20   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Looks good, wide viewing visor, flip up face and tinted sunvisor
Cons: Cheap feeling, flip up should go higher, pop up visor very flismy, hard to open vents with gloves

I read the not so good reviews here and from other sites, but I loved the look, plus I owned a cheap 60 Bell lid from Walmart, and it was a very decent lid for the money, so I had little reservations about buying this one. But Bell should be ashamed to even consider selling this helmet for 200 bucks, I paid 130, this helmet is worth all of 100 bucks Its not bad a lid but WAY outta its manufacturer's suggested retail price league, to But would I buy again Not sure, if the Gmax GM54 had a better looking design I'm sure I would have went that way.

great just wear ear plugs - 99hellcat   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: great looking - comfortable
    Cons: wind noise

Seems ok, except for high wind noise

nice features but - sportyR1   NJ Recommended by Reviewer: No
Pros: Love the sun shade and the air flow
Cons: too many spaces creates a lot of noise

The sun shade is something worth having, but very noisy. Had to cut the foam out for the temples, too much pressure. The chin screen is nice but adjusting the helmet while riding is difficult due tob the placement of the release button and chin screen. Would recommend buying a solid full face with a sun screen if possible

Pass - Chris p   OH Recommended by Reviewer: No
    Pros: Looks good
    Cons: Noisy, tight fit

A good looking helmet but a little undersized. The front hits my nose and chin closing it. Very loud interior noise drowns out your bike. Keep as a spare helmet only not and everyday helmet.

Bell Revolver EVO Skratch Helmet - Thomasnow814   TN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Quality, appearance, speed for delivery
Cons: Sizing way off compared to other manufacture

I'd been wearing a Large HJC modular which was just a bit snug so I ordered this Bell Revolver Evo in size XL. But as it turned out it was even more snug than my Large HJC so I ordered a XXL in the Bell thinking that all would be right with the world soon. Unforunately the XXL was also too snug to wear comfortably so now I had 2 helmets to return at a cost of approx 30 shipping but with no helmet to show for it. I've since ordered an XL HJC which fits great. I'm not sure if all Bell models are sized similarly but I won't buy another Bell online without first trying one on locally, which presents yet another challenge as I don't think there is a local 'on the shelf' supplier.

tom - tom   NY Recommended by Reviewer: No
    Pros: Price
    Cons: overall poor quality

feels cheap, I have a bell vortex which is of much better quality. Don't know why bell made this poor quality helmet.

revolver evo - G   CA Recommended by Reviewer: No
    Pros: looks good, good concept
    Cons: poor construction, poor function

This helmet looks the part & has all the right features but when it comes to the performance its all bad... I guess I expected to much from this helmet it's true what they say, you get what you pay for... The price was great & that's what got my attention. The helmet's functions don't work as well as they promote.. It also has a lot of noise when riding & the modular part that lifts up gets stuck half way up. When it's on it fits good which is a plus.

Bell Revolver Evo - Charlie   CA Recommended by Reviewer: No
Pros: Very easy to change shields
Cons: Buffeting and weak flip up mechanim

The face shield locking mechanism broke literally the first time I flipped up the front of the helmet, hadn't even put it on yet. Called Bell to order the replacement part and they said I'd have to ship them the Helmet. The part would be easily replaceable if I could get it two Phillips screws. I really don't want to ship off the helmet as it's my only one and I would not be able to ride until I got it back. Road 800 miles with it over the weekend and It buffets pretty bad which can get really old after awhile. At this point I really wish I'd saved my money and got something nicer.
