Best Value Out There - DC   LA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Protection, comfort, price, style
    Cons: None

I have two sets of these gloves and they are an amazing value. They have protective features that are comparable to the big name brands, but at a price point that puts them within grasp of those on a tight budget. The leather is supple and comfortable right out of the box, and requires no break-in. The combination of TPR, carbon fiber, and hard plastic offers superior protection without compromising dexterity. The wrist strap ensures a reliable closure and the gauntlet is big enough to fit comfortably over a fully insulated jacket. I really can't say enough great things about these gloves. I was skeptical because of unfamiliarity with the brand, but that disappeared as soon as I tried them on I constantly receive compliments on how great they look, and that they resemble much more expensive GP-style gloves. Do yourself a favor and snap these up before they are closed out for good

Better than expected - llambo101   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Nice leather and well ventilated, good protection, comfortable
Cons: does not work with iPhone touch screen

this is a very good glove, can't beat the pricing and looks like it will last the test of time, I wear them on every warm day and fined these gloves to be more than I would expect to pay given the price is great.

For an old guy - doc47   MS Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Beautifully constructed. Knox scaphoid protection High-level protection
Cons: Get used to having your hands look like GoBots

For an old guy with old-guy tastes these gloves look awfully high-tech But, I think it is something I will get used to.As a doctor I value my hands. And as a doctor, I've seen the damage that can be done to hands. I wanted a pair of gauntlets that would give me maximum protection and yet not force me to take out a second mortgage. These seem to fit the bill. I've been wearing a pair of Aeromoto mesh gloves all summer and am very impressed with the construction, fit, and durability. After an entire summer of riding they show hardly any wear at all. So, I'm already impressed with Aeromoto products. These gloves advertised Knox Scaphoid Protection System. I liked the sound of that. Let me say something about scaphoid protection. The scaphoid is a small bone just at the base of the thumb. In a fall onto an outstretched hand it can fracture. It has only one artery supplying it and if that artery ruptures part of the bone dies, a process called aseptic necrosis. Take it from me you don't want it.I was impressed that the good people at Knox -- an outfit for whom I have a great deal of respect -- have developed a system to decrease the likelihood of a scaphoid fracture. I was impressed that Aeromoto incorporated it into a gauntlet selling for well less than a C-note. BravoThe rest of the glove has an impressive defensive array, from the metal-covered knuckle protectors to solid-looking wrist armor. The way I see it, in a severe get-off, my body may turn into road-kill but, encased in these gauntlets, my hands should be able to creep away unscathed.Let's hope it's a while before I put it to the test. Meanwhile, I feel more secure with these wrapped around the grips.

Best mesh gloves I've owned to date - Stefan   WI Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great fit, very comfortable to wear, allows easy finger movement, mesh does not fray too badlywhen contacted by velcro
Cons: May be a tad warm during hot summer months

I am extremely happy with these gloves. They fit very well and are the most comfortable gloves I've owed in 30 years of riding. Durability seems good although I have only had them a few months.

Different but Cool - goalie   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Fit, Short Cuff, Multi-Season
    Cons: Inside Seams, Short Fingers

I really like these gloves.I just got them and have worn them twice.I have not gone down and hopefully never will -- so I cannot offer evidence of their ultimate effectiveness. If my opinion changes, I will post an update. The leather is of a high quality and the gloves simply look cool.I wanted three things when I purchased the gloves1. Short Cuff to fit comfortably with the sleeves of my jacket2. Leather without additional airflow -- I wanted gloves for 75 degrees and below and3. Snug fit so that I could feel the controls on my bike.I got all three with these gloves. The fit is perfect. I have average to small average hands. I normally fit a size 9 and the large gloves are a perfect fit.I can feel the controls with these gloves. One of the trade offs to a snug fit is that you are more likely to feel the seams, particularly when they are on the inside. Although I noticed this a bit when I first put the gloves on, I quickly forgot about it. The gloves are actually quite comfortable. If anything, I would probably widen the small fingers pinkish were a tad longer. I can feel the end of the fingers in the gloves, but again I forget about it once I start riding.Looking forward to long service out of these gloves.

Talk about Protection - doc47   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Comfortable, excellent price. Highly protective Knox Scaphoid protection
Cons: Looks like something out of a Marvel Comix Avenger

Being an old-fashioned read over-60 sort of rider, wearing these gloves makes me feel like a Marvel Comics Super-hero. I've never owned or worn a pair of gauntlets that gave me the sort of protection I am assuming these will give me. I hope I never put them to the test. Construction looks excellent. As a doctor, I'm very interested in motorcycle safety. I'm also very interested in protecting my hands. Scaphoid fractures can be particularly nasty. There's only one artery feeding the bone and if that is cut by a fracture the entire bone can die. Not a good thing Knox is in the forefront of safety research, so I'm always interested when I see a product made with one of their designs. This looks to be a remarkably well-designed glove as well as a great value.

Worth The Money - Cody W   OH Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: ComfortableGreat priceLook great
    Cons: Nothing yet

I bought these while they were on sale to replace a pair of very basic gel knuckle gloves. My old gloves were very uncomfortable and offered very little protection. I ordered the black versions. My first thoughts, as I opened the box was how great they look. The quality of the gloves seem fine, and at first they were stiff, but quickly broke in. I have only had them for a few weeks with minimal riding but they are holding up great. I will be sure to update my review if they fail any time soon. Although these gloves seem mostly mesh, you are protected where you need it. The flexibility of the glove is great, even with the one-piece knuckle protector, which I thought was great. The sizing is true too. I usually wear a x-large and they fit great.

Great, even in August in DC - RavensRockDC   VA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Breathable, adjustable, easy onoff, not constrictive
    Cons: [None]

I bought these for the Motorcycle safety class. I could only find an opening in AUGUST. These gloves were a little hot, but not unbearable. Others had wet hands when they pulled off their gloves, but mine were relatively dry. Being a beginner, the gloves didn't restrict movement and I was able to grabsqueeze the levers and work the throttle with ease. If these ever wear out, i'll buy another pair.

Pros: Comfortable, good price, holding up well, good-looking
    Cons: None

I've been using these gloves for over 5 months now and am very pleased. So far, they show no wear. They're comfortable enough that I forget I have them on. Haven't had the misfortune to crash-test them but the longer I delay on that the happier I'll be.Excellent gloves at a good price point.Usual disclaimers.

Pros: Great fit, great protection in a crash, yeah it happened.
    Cons: Not even one.

Love these Super light and flexible with quick dry time after a rain. Great grip with no slop and works well with my Android phone with no issues. Superb protection for being so light. Got in a 45mph crash and my knuckles touched first, I balled up and survived. My gloves were trashed but my hands were untouched, sore but no cuts.Best 20 glove I ever bought. So good I got two more pair for my new Roadstar. Thanks CA and AeroMoto

Great summer glove - Wes   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Really well made, great protection, good airflow
    Cons: None

This is my favorite glove I own. I was really surprised at the quality when I opened the box, they are really well made and the protection is just terrific. Best of all there is plenty of airflow and they have been cool all summer here in VA. I've been using these all summer and they are holding up great. Seriously if you are looking for a summer glove these are it I think the fit is true to size. I wear an XL and the XL fit perfect.

A nice blend of form and function - heavyD719   CO Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Flow's tons of air, well made
    Cons: none

These gloves flat out rock, I was worried about getting a true mesh glove for summer but I purchesed them anyways and I'm glad I did. I've had them for a month now and fit and finish is better than gloves at three times this price point. They flow a ton of air and the leather palm feels undestructable. I got caught in a downpoar and while wet they still functioned with the same properties as dry. If your looking for a glove for summer look no further order the size you normally order and I promise you won't be disappointed

Pros: good fit, look great, pricing, perforation
    Cons: only 2 colors

I bought these gloves about a month ago. shipping was very fast and I could not find a similar pair of tracksport gloves near this price. I was a little skeptical because it is not a big name brand, but the gloves are every bit as good as the alpinestars they are replacing. I usually wear a large and the large fits well. I would say they are sized similar to my alpinestars snug fitting .. The gloves are soft right out of the box and require virtually no break in. Get a pair.. they are worth it.

Great protection at a great price - Rune Rider   CT Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Well made, excellent protection, good looks, comfortable
    Cons: None

I bought these a couple of months ago. I was wary about the comments that these fit small so I ordered a pair in my usual L but also a pair in XL. After going back and forth trying both pair on for a day or so, I kept the L and sent the XL back. They were a little tight at first but after about 12 hours of use they now fit comfortably and the finger length is perfect. With that said, I like a skin tight fit in a glove where feel and dexterity are important. These are form fitting but not painful or even annoying. I can feel the controls on my Rune and I can operate my helmet latch or the zipper on my jacket without taking the gloves off.One misconception I had was that a gauntlet like this would be heavy and hot. I've found that's not really the case. The leather is actually very lightweight and it breathes pretty well as long as you have some airflow.Highly recommended

Delivery was quick and painless, the gloves exceeded my exspectations by a huge margin. Sizing was dead on, I usualy get a XL and the XL fit perfect. No extra room in the finger tips or thumb. they just plain fit great and there alot better quality than I thought they'd be, the air passes through just like I'd hoped. The palm has very thick, soft leather. extreamly comfortable right out of the package. By far the best summer glove I've ever owned, now lets see how long they last. I'll update as time goes by.

Good gloves - 61duc   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Decent ventilation, great armor, very good price
    Cons: None

Bought this for summer use because the upper body is mainly mesh. Has good armor in the knuckles and fingers, which is a must for me, and has leather and Amara, a very strong synthetic material on the palms. They feel good, and they flow a decent amount of ventilation air, which is all you need when you want decent protection. The price is also very good. A good investment.

Very comfortable glove, nice protection, great price Take heed of sizing up one larger size. I wear L, but ordered the XL, fit perfectly. Nice airflow, will be a great summer glove. So far I've worn them on a ride with temp variations from 50-60, a little cool at 50, but comfortable at 60. CompAcc's Aeromoto, Shadow & Sliders brands always are a great value.

Pros: Comfy, nice looks and armor
Cons: stitching inside finger tips could be annoying

This is a lot of glove for 20.00. Fit and finish is nice, good velcro closure, knuckle armor really nice, especially for the price point. As mentioned, you can feel the seams in the finger tips a bit, but you soon forget it. Styling is also pretty cool, i like the hi vis. I use these for mountain biking in cooler weather, skateboard, etc. I use a more protective glove for motorcycling, but these are def good gloves.

    Pros: Warm, waterproof, shield wiper
    Cons: [None]

After a really disappointing experience with another brand JR, I purchased these. I live in Oregon and ride year round, so a warm and dry glove is very important to me. I've ridden in these down to 22 and stayed warm. So far they've done well in rain too, though I haven't ridden for hours in the rain with these yet. A bit stiff at first, but they do break in eventually. Highly recommended for your winter riding needs.

Excellent Gloves - Robb   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Comfortable, NO Break-In, Excellent Protection, Knox SPS
Cons: Ring and Fifth Finger Need to be Stitched Together

Excellent Full Gauntlet Track DayRoad Glove in the Sub 250 Range. If you value your hands - or your clavicle collarbones this is the glove to wear From the full thickness race quality leather to the titanium appearing metal on the fingersknuckles and lateral gauntlets this glove affords great protection. However, I JUMPED at the chance to purchase since it also includes the Knox Scaphoid Protection System - great wrist protection, agreed, but even more, these sliders are proving to reduce the incidence and severity of clavicle fractures since they transmit less of the energy up through the scaphoid bones wrist, reducing the axial load on the wrist, and the forearm radiusulna to the elbow, humerus and finally the clavicle Imagine that your handswrists SLIDE and don't GRAB on the ground until your speed is slow enough to be controlled - that means a much lower likelihood of PLATES and SCREWS. Besides, if I crash, I need all the plates and screws for repairing my bike - I don't want to waste anyJust had the two last fingers sewnglued together - personal preference Again, reduced chance of fracture or rotation in the event of an unscheduled off and I don't use them separately anyway

PITA - PITA   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Seems well made and comfortable
    Cons: None so far

I bought 2 pairs. The first one was bought about 2 months before the second one. The first one was size medium as suggested by using the sizing chart I usually wear small and a call to customer service at Competition Accessories. I did like it but it was slightly too long in the fingers and slightly loose in the palm I like my riding glove close fitting. I bought a second glove in size small and am much happier with the fit. It is still very comfortable and functional. One feature I'd like to see is a clip to hold the pair together when not in use. I'd have to evaluate durability after using it longer. I think the value is quite good considering the price. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a good summer glove.

Excellent ColdFoul Weather Glove - Desperado   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Price, Warmth, Waterproof, Flexibility, Comfort, Sizing
    Cons: Slightly Bulky

I have had these gloves for only a couple weeks but I'm already thoroughly impressed. They are comfortable without liners down to around 50 degrees F. With thin liners I have ridden in 40 degree temps with no problems. The pre-curved fingers and pliable leather make them comfortable right away and the grip is superb, even in wet weather. The attached squeegee in the left index finger is firm and seems sturdily attached. It comes in handy keeping the visor clear in misting weather.Like other Aeromoto gloves, these come in graduated sizes as opposed to a S-M-L range which definitely helps in finding the right fit. They are sized accurately i.e., if you regularly wear a size 9 in other gloves you will wear a 9 in the Aeromotos. The gauntlet straps allow fitting over a variety of jacket cuffs and the hook-and-loop wrist strap allows for a further customized fit.I tried a pair of the GTS gloves first, but did not like the extra armor on the outside edge of the palm. The build quality seems consistent and these gloves feel like a bargain at their price points.I mentioned they were slightly bulky but this is not a big deal. All foul weather, waterproof winter gloves will have some bulk to them and I would say these are on the low end of that scale. Definitely less bulk than my Olympias.Overall, this is an outstanding winter riding glove with lots of features and solid build quality.

These are well built and comfortable. A perfect street glove. I need to powder mine to make them easier on and off since I apparently have meaty hands. Maybe the opening is a little small. One on though, they fit like a glove, well, two gloves. LOL. The leather and other materials are great. Tactile feel is great. The floating knuckle make all the difference. My only wish is that the index finger was conductive so could control my cell phone. I'll fix that with some silver thread though.

    Pros: comfort, airflow, protection
Cons: multi-flap gauntlet requires some fiddling at first

These have quickly become my favorite glove. As long as the temps are above about 67degrees, these are the gloves I wear. The fingers have external stitching, the leather is supple, and their is actual airflow thru the vents, all contributing to a comfortable full gauntlet glove with track day level protection.Size Large fits my hands well. For comparison I need an XL glove from AGV's sport line of gloves.Quality is very high, with 2000 miles in these gloves so far there is no noticeable wear or errant threads. I've had gloves come apart within the first 100 miles , so I am quite happy with AeroMoto.

Pros: Very well constructed, soft leather, roomy gauntlet .....
    Cons: None.

I've only put about 1,000 miles on these so far, but they seem to be worth more than I paid. This gauntlet, unlike some famous name brands, has plenty of room to enclose a heavy leather jacket without a struggle. It is all double stitched throughout. The seams are stitched on the outside of the glove which leaves the insides nice and smooth. No rough seams bothering your fingers while trying to enjoy the ride. These are definitely SpringSummer gloves, as the ventilation is very good. Plenty of protection in all the right places. I can't find anything negative to say about them - seriously. Great looking as well.

Good fit and function - BMW man   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: No break in, good fit
    Cons: [None]

I've finally found a pair of gloves to replace my worn out favorite ones.I am very happy with these gloves. No break-in period necessary. They fit and felt perfect right out of the package. They give you a good feel of your controls and grips, no bulky feeling. Very good venting for a full gauntlet glove. The carbon fiber knuckle protector doesn't dig into my knuckles like some other gloves and felt comfortable. I can't say how long they'll last because I've only had them a month but they certainly appear that they'll have a long life with mostly double stitching and double layers of leather on wear areas.

Great sport bike gloves - RacerX   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: soft out of the box, vents between fingers, lots of protection
    Cons: [None]

I was unsure of these gloves, but after looking around a bit and deciding there was really nothing in this price range with the features I decided to try them. I though Why Not.. No restock fees if they were not what I expected. Plus in the video they certainly look good.I must say they are better than expected. In fact I like them much better than my A-Star gloves that were 150.

Aeromoto Gloves - Garey in San Diego   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Comfortable fitment, good color choices, good armoring, secure grip on the handlebars
Cons: Seams come right at your fingertips and sometimes interfere with your nails

I must say these are a good buy. I have a couple of different jackets and you can buy two of these in matching colors compared to one of other types of gloves and do so with no loss of feature or protection. Here in San Diego, the flow air well to the hand, so I would think they might be less than warm in colder climates. I like the knuckle protection and finger protection with the padding in the palm area. Also the large velcro wrist closing is robust and keeps the glove secure.A little constructive criticism is that the finger closing stitching comes right about where your fingernail and finger join. Sometimes this seam can catch under your fingernail and it is mildly irritating. If that seam could be moved to the top of the nail area or under the nail area it might make for just that much of a better glove.Overall very happy with these and would definitely recommend them, a bargain and good looking into the overall picture. I also forgot to mention the high viz stripping which is good for night time visuals with automobile drivers.

2 season gloves - Zack   WI Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Super interior feel
    Cons: [None]

Haven't had much chance to use them since the weather is getting colder, but when I had them out they had a good feel on the controls. Ventilation didn't cause my hands to get cold at 50 temps, so not sure how they'll cool they'll be in real summer temps.I absolutely love gloves with exterior seams. They feel so nice when you slide them on. These have a fantastic feel to them like they are lined. Fingers are curved so no pinch points. My thumbs are apparently shorter than normal and I always have problems with thumb lengths too long. These are no different, so I assume the average is covered.

Excellent Value Gloves - San Diego Garey   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Excellent value, good protection of the hand and knuckles, good air flow in warm weather.
Cons: Finger stitching can catch right at the end of your finger.

I can't find much constructive criticism in these gloves at twenty bucks I have already worn them several times in warm San Diego weather and they flow air well, provide good grip across the contact points and look good in the Kawasaki color I selected.A minor point is that the stitching to close the fingers is right at the end of the finger insert and the inner raised portion of the stitching can catch under your finger nail causing some minor catching. But just push this back and you are good to go.A very good buy.

Decent Glove - Keith SLC,UT   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Value
    Cons: [None]

Price dropped 20 after I bought. OK for 100. Much better at 80. Make sure they can fit over sleeve. Work OK on Sliders Mesh Jacket with one liner. Plastic palm pads feel funny against grips. More flex than my two pairs of AXO with almost identical style. Thinking open slot under knuckle may hold heat pack to help keep top of hands warmer than handguards and heated grips. Ridden down to 45 degrees and up to 90 so far, so good.

Comfortable, Good Value - CharlieDog   TN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Fit true to size, look like decent protection
Cons: Don't flow as much air as look like they might, gauntlets a little too long

I was looking for mesh gloves with good protection when I came across these, and for the money decided to give them a try.Overall I'm pleased with the gloves, just not blown away. They fit true to size and are quite comfortable. I tried other, more expensive mesh gloves with the knuckle protectors sewn all the way around like these are, and those gloves would bind when I made a fist similar to gripping the grips. These gloves, OTOH, have excess material on the tops of the hands behind the knuckle protectors so they look 'puffy' when off the bike, but do not bind when gripping the grips-a thoughtful design that works, like having pre-curved fingers.Unfortunately these gloves do not flow as much air as they look like they might. There is solid material behind the mesh, and I suspect unlined, perforated leather gloves would flow more air than these. And the gauntlet is a bit too long and bulky. It doesn't fit over a jacket cuff, but it fills up the inside of the jacket cuff restricting airflow up one's sleeves-unless a person is wearing a mesh jacket. Also I have to admit the mesh on some of the fingers is fraying, probably from the Velcro on the cuffs.I don't mean to sound too negative. For the money, I'm satisfied. And if I get a couple of summers out of them, I'll move on to something else.

good protection - aeromoto carbolite gloves   IA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: good protection, not hot
Cons: leather dye bleeds difficult to size

I bought size large, seemed a little tight, thought they would stretch, but didn't. Palms of hands get black when they get wet or when it's hot enough to sweat. The fabric is already showing a little fraying. The leather on the palm side is thin enough such that one gets a good feel, but the rest of the glove is thicker and with armor to provide protection

Fit was better than I expected, I bought xxl and they're perfect.Gloves flow air nicely and my hands stay relatively cool while riding during the summer months. For the price In my opinion It'd be hard to find a pair of riding gloves for the summertime that work as well as these.

Good gloves - Mike P   MO Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Light, good ventilation, great price
Cons: Inside seams, needs more palm padding

These gloves are a great value. They are light weight, move decent air, and have great armor. They also fit me true to size. The only thing I would like improved is the seams at the fingertips can get a bit annoying and I would like more padding in the palm. But, for the price, I don't think you can find a better glove. I wasn't careful enough and let the mesh on the thumb contact the velcro wrist strap and it started pulling the mesh and started to fray. I also recommend the hi-viz, it looks great.

Pros: Good value, comfortable, not too hot

This glove is comfortable and fairly cool in the Georgia summer. It doesn't have air holes on the knuckles like my previous glove, so it is not as cool as those were, but they are proving to be cool enough.

Pros: Appear well made, size is true Price is very good.
Cons: Thought they would flow more air.

I bought these to replace some Joe Rocket summer gloves that I liked but are no longer made. The size is true, I usually get Large, the fingers are a good length, and the glove felt good when I first put them on. I now have about 1500 miles on the gloves. I did have some finger numbness at first, but the gloves have broken in and I no longer have that issue. The palms are comfortable I can operate my Zumo, and iPod remote with no problems. I thought the gloves would flow more air due to the mesh but they are not a cool as my Rockets were but still better than a full leather glove. One reviewer complained of no glove keeper, but if you take the hook fastener on one glove and attach it to the pile of the other, you can loose both gloves at the same time.

Good protection in a warm weather glove - Greg   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Comfortable, cool, good protection, good value
    Cons: run small

I got these back in February but since they're warm weather gloves I wanted to see how they handle Texas summer heat before reviewing. While we've yet to hit triple digits rare in Austin this far into summer, I've ridden enough 90 degree days to say they're comfortable in the heat. What I like best is the knuckle armor. With most summer riding gear, especially gloves, I feel like comfort comes largely at the expense of protection. However, between the knuckle armor, and semi-gauntlet wrist closure, I feel more secure than I did with my old summer gloves. The wrist closure has the additional benefit of not allowing the wrists to be exposed to the sun, so I know longer have to worry about putting sunscreen on my wrists. They also have a wider comfort range temperature-wise than my old summer gloves. I find them comfortable as low as 60 degrees, making them almost a 3-season glove in my area. They do run small though, which is why I gave them just four stars. I ordered a large, but was mistakenly shipped an extra large. As it turns out though, that was good since I think the large wouldn't have been roomy enough in the finger tips.

Seem to be a good value. - Ken P.   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good construction, good airflow, reflective surface, easy fit.
Cons: Like all of them, you wont know if they work until its too late.

I bought these to replace the Tourmaster summer gloves I had. I wanted protection, good fit and a good value. I have had them on from 50-85 on a bike with no protection and they work well. A good amount of airflow so sweating has never been an issue, the reflective surface works well, and they seemed to be made with the curve sewn in to prevent fatigue when breaking them in. I hope I never have to find out if the protection is sufficient but they seem to have the same levels of protection as similar summer armored gloves. Overall a very good glove at a great price. Only 4 stars as I wish the airflow was a bit more, but in all honesty this may be my personal issue as there has to be a compromise when you want armored gloves and not a design flaw.

Winter Gloves - Vinman   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Warm good protection
    Cons: Bulky

This is my first time purchasing winter gloves as I live in sunny southern California. Main reason for purchasing these was to be able to use them on cold winter early morning rides into the mountains canyons. Gloves are well made and provide a lot of protection. You can't tell from the pictures but they are bulky and it takes time to get used to using them when riding. Overall great gloves. Not recommended for mild weather because your hands will get hot.

My First Winter Gloves - compaccttaw   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Warm, Sturdy Protection, True to Size.
Cons: Slightly Bulky, Difficult to Tighten Over Sleeve.

Background info The only other pair of gloves I can compare this to are my Joe Rocket Supermoto 2.0's. My old commute to work consists about half a mile of local streets then 10 miles of freeway. Prior to purchasing these gloves, the average commute would be fine with the JR at just above 40 F without windchill at a range of 20-75 mph. Once temperatures dropped below 40 F, I realized the importance of keeping your hands warm while riding. The cold air at even 20 mph was noticeable, but the numbness that occurred half way on the freeway was near unbearable. I had no sensation in my ring fingers and pinkies, the back of my hands became dry, chapped, and bled on a few spots. After a couple more days of commuting with the JR at mid 30 F I had enough. I slipped on a pair of knit gloves and it made all the difference, the cold became tolerable. Now onto the Aeromoto GTS WInter Waterproof Insulated GlovesThese gloves are warm, hot even I rode with them at night around mid 30 F and these gloves kept my digits toasty Although bulky at first compared to my JR, I quickly got used to the thickness from the insulation. I was still able to access all the controls easily and had no trouble with the throttle as well. My only gripe is the adjustment of the gauntlet velcro closure, mind you the velcro wrist closure was fine even with the leather deflection. I tuck my sleeves in as there is no way to wear these gloves with my sleeves over them. The trouble I have is when I try to tighten the gauntlet velcro closure, I can not pull the strap tight enough for a nice, tight fit even when I'm putting on the first glove. Besides that one flaw, I believe it's secure enough to ride with as long as the wrist closure is tight. I initially was looking at other more expensive winter gloves but none were as attractive as these, just look at all the features I would highly recommend these gloves at the sale price. Worth every penny.

Pros: Warm down to 50 degrees.
Cons: Tight fit, for a large size motorcycle glove.

The Aeromoto Newport Winter riding gloves are warm down to about 50 degrees of highway riding. Any colder, you would need heated gloves. Even though I order a size large I found them to be a bit tight. Maybe they just need to be broken in since this is the size glove I wear. The quality is there. They seem to be solid and well made. I just started using them. How long they last will be the real test.

Liked them, but they're not for me - Lorenzo   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Design, protection
    Cons: fit large, for me

These are the exact same gloves as the AGV Sport Laguna gloves, just rebranded.I really liked these gloves, the only problem was that they would better fit someone with beefy hands. Though my fingers are longer than average, my hand and fingers are narrower and skinnier than average. For me, there was way too much room in fingers and in the palm which would have bunched up on the throttle.I had to send these gloves back without actually riding with them so I can't comment on long-term durability or airflow, etc.To summarize and reiterate, I really liked these gloves, the fit was just way off for the size of my hands.

Pros: Mostly decent quality for the highly discounted price I paid.
Cons: The Abrasion resistant fabric patches over the pinky finger and thumb.

Reasonably comfortable and generally decent quality glove for the 50.00 that I paid for it. The deal breaker is the Abrasion resistant fabric patches over the pinky finger and thumb. These appear to be nothing more than a thin flexible plastic designed to look like superfabric. They have very little abrasion resistance, in fact, much less that if they had just left the leather there.
