Information and Details about the AeroMoto Air Tour Waterproof Motorcycle Boots
made by Aeromoto
Aeromoto Air Tour Motorcycle Boots are a great choice for those who need a waterproof boot that doesn't leave your feet sweltering inside. A HiPora waterproof membrane is used, which does a great job keeping water out and remaining breathable. What sets the Air Tour apart is the perforation and textile material that actually allows the HiPora membrane to do its job. Bear in mind that you will not feel airflow directly on your feet, rather the HiPora membrane will allow your perspiration to escape through the perforated leather and textile material. Another unique feature of the Aeromoto Air Tour Boots is the sole. While most motorcycle boots offer a fairly thin sole, the Air Tour Boots feature a rugged lugged sole that will not only last a long time, but also provides a comfortable experience for off-the bike excursions. Flex panels at the front and back provide freedom of movement. For protection, the heel cup and toe box are both internally reinforced, and there is internal armor over the ankle bones. You'll find that the Aeromoto Dry Tour Boots compare very well to boots in a higher price bracket, and are an exceptional value.

  • Combination perforated leather and textile upper construction
  • HiPora® waterproof, breathable membrane
  • 13" boot height (from floor)
  • Flex panels on front and rear for walking comfort
  • Reinforced patch over shifter area
  • Reflective heel patch for nighttime visibility
  • Internally reinforced heel cup and toe box
  • Molded internal ankle armor
  • Rugged lugged sole provides off the bike comfort and sure footing

Sold as advertised - light weight fits well. - Cipher   NC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Light weight - easy on and off. Good price
Cons: No pull on strap to help put boot on easier - no resoling ..

Great product especially for the price. They look good and are waterproof. My ankle holster fits fine around this boot. Being light weight you can walk around without foot pain. Great boot

Excellent Boots - Chip   WV Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Comfortable, waterproof, classy, supportive, protective, good soles
Cons: Thick lower calves need not apply

I am very favorably impressed with these boots. I had hesitated for years in trying out zip-up motorcycle boots, fearing that they could not be properly supportive of the ankle area. These boots feel almost therapeutically supportive. In fact, I feared they might be too stiff when I put them on, but they are very comfortable. They run a tad small, but my regular 11W works--just with a hair less wiggle room inside. The boots are handsome to look at and so comfortable that you forget you have them on until someone compliments you on them Waterproof seals the deal. Boots fit me fine, but people with heavy lower calves will not be able to zip them upI compliment CompAcc on their Aeromoto line. These boots and the summer gloves arrived at the same time, and both are high-quality, well-sorted, reasonable-priced accessories. Congratulations

    Pros: Price, construction, value, comfortable
Cons: A little stiff when new

The size is right on for me- 11W is what I wear. They are breaking in a little more every time I wear them. They do breathe so my feet don't get sweaty in 80 plus temps. No rain yet so I'll find out later I don't mind that they are stiff- my feet and ankles will be better protected i think. Putting them on and off is easy as well. Great pair of boots.

aeromoto boots - azsteve   OH Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: excellent look and feel quality. true to size. very comfortable
    Cons: none

these have a good fit. very comfortable even when off the bike walking around. stiff and rigid at first but break in quickly.

Long Tripper - BruceKit   IA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Nice fits, Waterproof, Warm, Breathable
Cons: Initial insert in boot needed little more support

Bought these after my old boots didn't fit well after a few year of use. I needed something that would allow me to walk around without changing boots. These fit that need. I am presently on a trip right now and boots have preformed perfectly. I have rode through rain and cold feet stayed warm and dry. Then weather changed to hot feet stayed very comfortable. The membrane breathed and my feet stayed dry. I have been walking around on different surfaces from sand, rocks and concrete the boot is very comfortable. I needed a little more support for my feet to out the original foot insert pad and replaced with one I have in all my other shoes and boots and the boot still fit well and things have been great on this Iowa-Minnesota-Wisconson-Michigan Trip

GREAT BOOTS - ROY   MN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: LIGHT WEIGHT,VERY COMFORTABLE, FIT IS ACURATE
    Cons: NONE SO FAR

THESE ARE A QUALITY BOOT. I BUY LOTS OF BOOTS AND THESE ARE MADE WELL. THE AGRESSIVE SOLE GRIPS THE PAVEMENT BETTER THAN MOST. I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THESE BOOTS

the best so far - jon   NY Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: water proff and ventilated
    Cons: none so far

i have put about 1500 miles on these in cold 40F , warm 70F and rain lots . they keep my feet warm , dry and relatively cool when it gets warm . not sure how they will do in summer but we will see . i like the height as long as you dont mind wearing socks up to your knees . i have had 3 sets of icons and a bunch of work boots and nothing comes close to the comfort i get from these . i can ride for hours and still do moderate walking around with complete comfort . they appear to be very well made but time will tell . i say dont let the fact that they are not a big name brand scare you away . so far i would buy another pair without hesitation .

Aeromoto boots - DanGriffin   WI Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great price, comfortable, easy closure system
    Cons: none

I received my new boots in great shape. Needed to replace my well worn Sidi's. These look & feel like they'll work great. Waterproof liner inside perforated leather for cooler, less sweaty feet in the heat of summer.

Aeromoto Waterproof Boots - Carl   FL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Great Boots
    Cons: None

Just purchased these boots and they are great. Very comfortable and easy to get in an out of. I live in Costa Rica where we have a dry season and a wet season and they are perfect for both. There was hardly any break in needed. The soles are great for are terrain. The price was also excellent. Glad to have them. Keep the good work up with your equipment.

Riding Boots - Victory Rider   FL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: They fit very well, easier to put on after you wear them once, good in cold weather. No rain test yet.
    Cons: None

You will need tall socks, like baseball knee high socks, that at least clear the top of the boot. I have not tested them in the rain yet but living in FL that will happen sooner than later. Good support and a good price.

Great initial impression - Markap   VA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Surprisingly well crafted
    Cons: Soles not replaceable

I will update this review when the snow leaves and I can use the boots. Out of the box I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of construction. I generally purchase relatively inexpensive boots as I've not found a pair with replaceable soles so why pay much more for a pair you need to toss in 2 years or so.The stitching on the boots is good as is the feel of the leather. The soles are very think and should last a while yet are not uncomfortable during the walk around the house. For the price of just over 100, these are the best I've found in the category.

Good Boots - JohnF   OH Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Feel good walking
    Cons: Sizing

I ordered these because the Velcro on my 9 year old size 11.5 boots was becoming lazy. The size 12 AeroMotos which I ordered were way too small. I had a very hard time even getting my feet into them and my toes were very cramped. Thanks to the easy return policy of CS I replaced them with size 13 and am very satisfied thus far. I've used them once in the rain with good results and I find them much better to walk in than other boots I have had. The sizing is my only negative about these boots - I've been wearing size 12 or 11.5 for decades now in all of my other shoes. I like what I have now after the exchange.

Nice boot - Rider   PA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Sturdy, well built
    Cons: Fit

I was unable to put my feet into these great boots. I really wanted to have them fit because they seemed like they would be perfect, especially at the price. Not sure what the problem was, but my i could only get them on half way. Very happy with CAs return policy and customer support. Will buy again.

Good boots at great price - BSG Mike   VA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Very good fit, nice looking, very comfortable when ridingwalking, appear very well made
Cons: Leather on toe of boot not durable

Overall, I have been very pleased with these boots. I went a half-size larger and the fit is near perfect, They are a snug fit without being too tight. They were a bit stiff but have broken-in quickly and are quite comfortable to walk in, a feature I really appreciate. Construction is sturdy and the boots are very well made. The more heavily waffled soles took a little getting used to, occasionally hanging slightly on a foot peg, but this has not been a major issue and in fact, the waffling contributes to the boots' comfort when walking. My only complaint is that while breaking the boots in, it was slightly difficult to get the toe of the boot under the shift lever. Consequently, I scraped the toe on the shifter and peeled the surface of the leather. I used a little super glue to repair it but it is noticeable to me any way. One would think the leather would be durable enough to prevent such damage. Again, in all other respects I have been very happy with the boots and have put about 1,300 miles on them this month.

Like the boots - TheShooter   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Price, fit
    Cons: fit and finish

First, these are good boots. I have very wide feet, and these are actually comfortable. The price can't be beat.My only issue, and why they get 4 stars, is that there is a stiffener at the top. No big deal EXCEPT it was misaligned so that it was not covered on the end and was poking me. If i had gone for a ride in the boots, I would have had a hole in my leg, no question. However, I just used a soldering iron and smoothed it out with no further issues. It took a total of about 10 minutes, most of it waiting for the soldering iron to heat up.Also, if you are short of stature like me and have non-skinny calves like me, the top of the boot is a little narrow. What happens is the shape of the leg pushes the boot down so it is sliding off your foot as you walk. Very annoying. i just unzipped the top couple of inches and pulled the top apart while velcroing and it worked fine. I don't think this would be an issue for everyone, but it is for me and I would expect a similar issue with any manufacturer's boots in this style, so I am not worried about it.

Aeromoto Air Boots - jmanz6   MI Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Comfortable, good off-bike traction
Cons: Still pretty warm, especially off-bike, a little tight to get into

I bought these boots because I need a pair of boots to use in the summer. I have a pair of waterproof boots from another manufacturer, but they don't breathe at all and while very comfortable enough that I wear them all day while at work they are also VERY hot. These Aeromoto Air Tour boots seemed like they would fit what I wanted. My foot size is 11.5, so I first ordered a size 11W. Those didn't fit and were very tight to get into. Thanks to Competition Accessories easy return policy, I had a set of size 12 boots on the way immediately. When the new boots came in, they fit pretty true to size. There was a decent amount of space in the toe, and they were comfortable to wear. They do fit higher than my other boots, and if my calves were any bigger, it might be an issue. Luckily, i have average size calves. After riding a few times in these boots, they have broken in pretty well. I still have one issue with my right foot where my last 2 toes will fall asleep after about an hour of wearing, but I suspect this will go away as the boots break in more. I will say that these boots are pretty comfortable when riding and my feet don't overheat, but off the bike, these boots are still very hot. Even with the perforated outer and the breathable waterproof liner, there is a lot of heat build up if there isn't air flowing over the outside. You do not feel the air when riding, but you will notice that the heat is carried away from your feet. These boots off-bike are as hot or possibly hotter than my other non-perforated boots. I was hoping for a little more, but understood that it wouldn't be like wearing air conditioned boots either. In the end, I am still happy with these boots. For summer touring in hot temps, they will be good while riding, just have to bring another pair of shoes to put on if I get off for any amount of time.

Good for the money - SoCal Guzzi   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Lugged Sole, real leather
Cons: Not any cooler than my solid leather boots

I bought these to use in the summer time, to solve the sweaty foot problem. The leather is perforated, and air flows freely through it, but the liner does not breathe. I didn't feel that my feet were any cooler in these than in my solid leather boots. Not a bad pair of boots for the money, though, and the lugged soles give me an extra 14 inch of reach to the ground. I think the sizing runs about a half size small, I normally wear a 10 12, but these fit me fine in a size 11. These boots are a little taller than a regular street riding boot, and with the lugged sole, they would be suitable for some light off road dirt road ADV riding.

Good Boots - Tiger 800 Rider   VA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Comfort, Thick soles, Good height
    Cons: No half sizes

Boots are comfortable out of the box. Would give them 5 stars but no half sizes. Normally wear a 10.5, but had to go to an 11. Not a big deal, but I do notice a little movement.

Aero Moto waterproof boots - Aero Moto waterproof boots   UT Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Supprisingly high quality for price
Cons: Pads behind liner bunch up when putting on boot

Love the quality. If the pads didn't move they would be perfect. And almost free.

AeroMoto Air Tour Waterproof Motorcycle Boots - jeff   MO Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: sizing
    Cons: warm

boots work good out of the box, little tight on my calves, easy on and off, sole seem to be holding up good, waterproof so far have gotten caught out a couple times, toe box good for wide foot,

Great Boots - John   OR Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Durable boots Available in wide sizes
Cons: Maybe not as breathable in real hot weather

Overall these boots are great Although the first pair I ordered in 10W were a little too tight in the sides, the 2nd pair in 11W fit perfect.I normally wear anywhere from a 9.5 to a 10.5 in Wide when possible. Exchange was quick and painless, They will take some getting used to though due to the thickness of the soles. But this should provide for a longer wear in my opinion. And they are comfortable when walking around off the Bike, which many boots are not

Nice - ZoneRider   FL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Well made, good quality
Cons: Would like more ankle protection, fit different than my old Tourmaster

The boots are well made and are comfortable to ride in. I had a 4-year old pair of Tourmaster waterproof and I decided I need ventilation. Plus the TM's were just wearing out on the soles. I bought these boots for the aggressive soles. Have you ever been sitting on your bike and pushing it in or out of a parking space Suddenly you are pushing and your foot slips and you begin to lose your balance. I've done that several times with the Tourmaster boots and it's a scary thought, dropping my motorcycle and worse, dropping it on one of my legsankles. Getting injured sucks. I bought these boots to solve that problem. I haven't slipped so far. These boots are very nice and I've work them a few times for a few hours at a time. They are still breaking in though and will be better once this happens. I have size 13 feet with normal width and they fit loose in the Tourmaster boot and I always wore a thick sock to get a good fit. That is not necessary with this boot, since the foot area is shallower so that my feet fit nicely with a thinner synthetic sock that I prefer for sport touring riding. More miles will give me more of an impression, but I like them and think they will continue to fit me better.

Air tour boots - Buelligan   NM Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Tall, good tread, warm
Cons: Size runs tightsmall, ankle support uncomfortable

Nice boots, fits a little tight, hoping it just needs breaking in. The ankle support, shield digs into my foot while walking. I hope this just needs breaking in also. Otherwise, a nice boot. I like how tall they are. The zipper works well, and is covered with a flap so it won't scratch anything. The tread is aggressive, no slip pattern, I like that. Fit and finish seems good. Haven't been able to test if they are waterproof yet.

Boot review - Msg   NY Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Look good, good sturdy heal and soul.
    Cons: [None]

Ordered a 10W and the boot I received was a bit narrower than expected so the boots are a very snug fit. Too soon to comment on warm or weatherproof attributes as the motorcycle season is over until the Spring.

Good Boots - MK   GA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Protection, Comfort, Style
    Cons: A bit bulky

These boots are very comfortable, and look good. I don't feel like a power ranger or a member of KISS when wearing them. No slipping at stop lights. I feel very safe in them. It boggles my mind that people wear sneakers on a motorcycle do yourself a favor, wear boots, ANY boots. Everything from the shin down feels protected. Shift pad is a nice touch. The one gripe I have, and it's not necessarily the boot's fault, is that it's a bit bulkier than I'm used to. As a result, it took me a while to feel the shifter like I did in smaller boots. After a few days I got used to it. Just a heads up. Haven't worn them in the rain yet. They seem well sealed though. I like 'em.

Good buy for the price - Jeff   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Nice style
    Cons: NOT a true fit

Bought these a few week ago in size 10, my normal size. Shipping was quick and was well pleased with how the boot looked. Couldn't quite fit them on. Reordered an 11 which fits great. Very stiff to begin with, to the point of hurting my ankles on the outside area. After a couple weeks they are doing great. Was wearing a BMW boot which has lasted for 9 years. Getting ready to go on a 2,000 mile ride so I'll find out how they really are. Construction appears good, material looks substantial and other than small sizing the boot looks as if it will last. They are becoming more comfortable as time goes on. Had a couple of all day rides with no problem. If I have issues during my vacation I will repost. Other than that I would recommend these for the serious rider.

Good Boots - FJR   SC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Comfort, price, grip
    Cons: None

Bought these to replace worn out boot, like the grip the tread has. Comfortable enough to wear all day.

AeroMoto Air Tour Boots - lklan   MI Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Appear to be well made.
Cons: No cons at this point

These boots have a thicker sole and is giving me problems when it is time to shift. I also need to get them broke in but expect them to be as comfortable as my old boots. They do seem to be a little cooler than my old boots of similar design.

AeroMoto waterproof boots - Hans   WA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: great fit, good quality, well made and at a good price.
    Cons: none noted

Needed a pair waterproof boots that I could also wear in warmer weather. Only have had the boots for a short time however very pleased with the overall function of the boot. They appear well made, look great and are very comfortable right out of the box. Haven't had them in the rain yet and summer is fast approaching so I'll know more a few months down the line. At this point I'm very pleased with my purchase and will submit a follow up review with more info.

    Pros: Fit is good.
    Cons: [None]

The boots fit true to sizing. Wasn't exactly sure which size I'd need so i ordered 2 pairdifferent sizes. Competition Accessories made the return process quick and easy. They refunded the amount for the return pair within 7 business days. Boots look to have good construction for the price. I would not call them a a low-end boot, they look to have the quality of higher priced boots I've looked at before.

Well made, large toe box - Markap   VA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Very well constructed for the price
Cons: Toe box is tall, might need to reorient shifter

Great boot for the price - very well constructed. They work great on my BMW F650 GS. However, I will need to reposition the shift lever on my BMW R1100rs in order to get them under the lever. Might not be possible...

good fit but - ffb13   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: [None]
    Cons: fits good but narrow

got them a few weeks ago after ordering a size 10w,my size , and a size 11. had to return the 10w and kept the 11.but the reason i got his boot is because i got a 2015 versy 1000 and had a new seat done and have , while getting on and off , fallen 3 times or dropped the bike 3 times but no damage to the bike . . i can only reach the ground in tip toes on my sidi vertigos. therefore i decided to gain some height by adding sole height and i was told by cc that this boot had a 2 inch heel , IT DOES NOT ,MORE LIKE A 1 INCH from the ground to the inside footboard ...the sole looked like 1 inch .IT IS NOT , more like 14 inch this heigh i measured from the inside of the boot where the foot rests to the ground ...by looking at it it looks like a 2 inch heel etc...but your foot actually lies closer to the lower mark of the outside of the heel.i got a spenco insole to add more height and very difficult to slide in. had to use some wd40. after this i can now sort of flat foot the bike . we will see how th eboots is on my next trip. overall i prefer the SIDI boot and took it to a clobber to get a higher soleheel done but he told me he could not do it . so, for 99. is worth the try

Good Value - Paul S   MT Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Comfortable, Agressive Sole,
    Cons: Venting Questionable.

I also have the smooth sole non-vented AeroMotos. I purchased these hoping they would be cooler. So far, I can't tell any difference. Hotter weather will tell if they vent moisture out. And, beware, those are not Cordura side panels. It's just fabric over leather.

Good.....but - Jeff. Hollywood East, NC   Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Light weight, seems well made
    Cons: NOT completely waterproof

I reviewed this boot a few weeks ago. Well I just returned from a week long, 1,600 mile Blue Ridge Parkway, NC mountains trip. Boots did great until the last day of our trip. We had light rain, in which the boots did great. Then, we had a deluge Traffic was 15mph on I-95 it was raining so hard. After about 75 mile of this type of rain I began to feel some moisture in my feet both feet. By the time I arrived home my socks were soaked I will say this was the worst rain I've ever ridden in during my 30 years of riding. The rest of my gear worked flawlessly except for my boots. I'll dry them out, try them one more time and if they leak again, return them. I'm hoping it was just the amount of rain that overwhelmed the boots, I'll let you know.

Waste of time and money. - John D.   NJ Recommended by Reviewer: No
Pros: None that I can see.
    Cons: Sized wrong, poor fit.

I ordered a pair of AeroMoto Air Tour boots and had high expectations after reading the reviews. I ordered size 10W as that is my regular size and they state that the sizes run true. When they came I couldn't get my foot in them. They weren't snug or tight, I couldn't get my foot down in the boot. I sent them back and ordered a pair one size larger, 11W. Much to my displeasure, the new pair don't fit either. I did finally get them on after much effort and a shoe horn. These boots are not worth all the effort I guess the search goes on...John D
