Pros: Great Price...They loook pretty good..Did I mention Great Price..Fast Shipping
Cons: None...not even One bad thing to say about these Boots
I bought these Boots from Competition Accessories it must be around 4 years a go if not 5. Iv worn the Boots non stop here in So Cali and then when I moved to Oregon for a year I wore them up there in all the rain and crud. Im a Motorcycle Mechanic and Id often leave the Boots on when I work and have spilled oil on them..hot weld..gas..grease..all sorts of crap and they still are fine. They look good also and they fit really sweet..I often wore them all day on and off the Bike and walked all over sawp meets and Bike Shows and no discomfort.Only now after all the years are they looking a bit tired and one of the Zips is a little wonky..but I still wear them.Im a find out how much it would cost to install 2 new Zippers and maybe have them re-solded thats how much I love these boots but if the cost is over 50 Im a buy another new pair of the Vega Sport Racing Boots it was the Best 100 I ever spent. ...Hell Yeah

Its surprisingly comfortable! I would say best boots for the money. You certainly can't beat it. Before I purchased these boots, I had to do a lot of research since I've never really heard of the Vega brand. I gotta say, I'm really impressed by the quality of the boots. Compared to my old A boots, they do the trick. In my honest opinion, its just as comfortable as my A boots. I like the design of the boots too. Do yourself a favor and get these boots. Save the extra money and get some other gears/accessories =

The 1st of what I expect are 2 reviews: First, let me commend CompAcc. I ordered these on a Monday, there were at my door the next day on Tuesday, crazy fast.
Regarding the boots, I have not ridden in them yet, but wore them the better part of yesterday to "loosen" them up, a little stiff out of the box, but I would expect that. They fit true to size for me, but they were a tab stiff & slightly difficult to get into but not out. However, I expect that to change as they "break -in".
Even after reading the cons I ordered these based upon they seem to be a decent boot for a great price. They are very attractive had many comments yesterday and they are very comfortable to walk in. All and all, I would say depending on your seriousness of riding/budget/style, these are a great boot for your average Joe rider, after-all, all they have to do is survive the 1st crash.

Overall, this is a really great value... These boots offer good foot, ankle, and shin protection. And, they are comfortable and look sporty. However, the screw-on toe & shin slider replacement pieces are constructed of rather poor-quality plastic. And, the screw inevitably pierces through the plastic hole, damaging the slider. After only wearing them for about 6 months, both my toe sliders broke off already- left screw popped off while riding, and right slider plastic broke... At 5.00 a replacement set plus shipping, I find myself needing to stock up a bit on these pieces.
Perfect Boot for a tight budget!!
As far as aesthetics, the boots look awesome, very sporty and comparable to other high end boots such as A and Sidi IMO. Functionality, they are very protective in all the right places. I use mine for daily street riding and can walk around in them ALL day! After the boots are are broken in, they flex well and do not interfere with your shifting or braking. Extremely comfortable.

12/9/2010 - REVISED: Downgraded rating to 2 stars...
Simply put, these boots literally fall apart at the seams after about a year. Just this week the vertical stitch that runs the length of the heel to the calf split down the middle. The velcro on the other boot came off as well. And, the round Vega logo piece popped off one of the boots too. I've already had to replace the toe & heel sliders on both sides. And, I only wear them about once a week for light, weekend riding.
Although they fit well & look good, this is basically a cheap boot on the cheap. I will replace them for now, but when I upgrade to a full 1 piece race suit, I will for sure look for something better and in the 200 price range.

i bought thess boots and have ridden with them for about 2 months. these boots are a fair quality the leather feels like plastic and stiff in all the wrong places. the sole on one of the shoes came apart and i had to re glue it. these boots are a one season boot and the price reflects the quality. if you need a pair of boots to get you through tell you can afford good boots then here you go. i would save a bit more and get some better quality boots if you can
