Cons: [None]
Great fit, great airflow, easy in and out.
Great pants, but not for us with short inseams - Steve in Utah UT
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Solid construction, a lot of mesh
Cons: Not a good fit for us vertically challenged riders, way too much Velcro, tight with all the liners in.
5'6, 29 inseam. I was pleased to find that TM offered these in different lengths, but unfortunately the waist band to knee measurement doesn't appear to vary from length to length, ie the short versions are simply a hemmed version of the regular length.. The problem is that even with the knee pads in the highest of the three positions, they still sit way too low on my legs.Otherwise they look Iike they'd be great pants, but for two things the excessive amount of Velcro down the side seams, and when the two liners are fitted, they're a little tight. I am a little stocky in the legs 5'6, 29 inseam, 34 waist, 41 chest, 160lbs, but not ridiculously so.
Comfortable - Protective - Good Value - Dave - ST1300 PA

Pros: Comfortable and Good Protection
Cons: Waterproof liner is inconvenient to use
I really like these pants and the fit was great. I originally ordered a size large but I had to exchange them for medium. I normally wear a size 34 waist and 32 inseam. Once I received the medium, the fit was great. These pants are comfortable and offer a lot of protection. They allow air to pass through which is a great benefit because I normally ride in warmer weather. The waterproof liner is a little bit of a pain to get in and out. I might have preferred that the outer shell had some water resistance, but then it wouldn't have allowed air to pass through and would probably be too hot. Overall, I really like these pants and I would definitely recommend them.
Tourmaster Venture Air Pant beats the heat - Year Rounder07 IL
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Cool and comfortable, ankle to hip zippers, armor in knees with foam hip protection, has two traditional side pockets
Cons: Might benefit from a magnetic rather than a Velcro system along legs, and some tailbone protection.
I ride throughout the year, but find summer riding can be a killer behind a fairing when temps are in the mid to upper nineties. The Venture Air Pant has made riding much more enjoyable and provides exceptional cooling as well as armored knee and foam hip protection.

Good pants. worked great in the Ohio heat this past weekend. Liner is a little bulky, but I bought them from summer, so I will not be using the liner much.
Nice pants, but don't buy the 'short' ones - Steven L UT
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good quality for the price, liners add versatility - 5 stars for that
Cons: Short versions seem to be just regular length ones hemmed - so minus 2 stars
YMMV, but for this 5'6 rider with a 34 waist and 29 inseam the 34 short pants were hopeless, as the waist to knee length was too long, so even with the knee armor in the highest position, it was still halfway down my shins. Shame, as I like TM stuff generally.

good pants in the mesh form. with all the liners, it is way too bulky and difficult to put on fast. insulation liner is adequate as is the rain liner. major gripe-way too much velcro on the legs!!!!!

These pants offer a lot on the surface. It's too bad that they're not very well made. I have had mine for a little over 2 years now and I've had to have both of the waist velcro straps reattached and now one of the leg zippers has worn out. I wear these on a near daily basis for about a 9 month riding season so they have been through a lot. I really wish they had used a good quality metal zipper in the legs instead of the cheap plastic that's there. The search is on for something similar but with hopefully a better build quality.
