The Rincon is a 3/4 length jacket by Tourmaster made from 320 Denier nylon/polyester blend, with an oiled cotton feel. The jacket has a waterproof and breathable Raingaurd barrier that allows dryness without perspiration buildup. It's collar anchor eliminates flapping while the collar is open, and the durable main zipper closure with dual windflap seals out the elements. For ventilation, there are chest vents combined with sleeve vents, and a rear exit vent, all of which provide excellent air flow. The interior of the Rincon has Tourmaster's ZOQ (zip out quilted) liner with warming 100g-polyfill insulation. The collar and sleeve cuffs are also lined with a comfortable micro-fiber. For protection there is removable, CE approved armor at the elbows, and shoulders as well as a triple density back protector. For storage there are several pockets dispersed inside and outside of the jacket this includes vertical chest map pockets that have a mesh backing to allow the pockets to double as vents. For a better fit, there are adjustable sleeve take-up straps that also help to secure the elbow armor. Two other convenience features include Phosolite piping for increased visibility, and a jacket/pants attachment.

Jacket Excellence - Doc Hypnos

Pros: Water resistance, fit, storage
Cons: Collar too small, sizing runs slightly smaller than normal.
This is an excellent all around, three season jacket. I ride daily and in cool to cooler weather it is excellent without the liner. I put the liner in for cold weather and it works perfectly. I love the adjustability and the additional length. The vents are effective for warmer days but not for hot days, even with the liner removed. But that is why you have other jackets, isn't it The collar is a little bit small if you are more muscular or have a larger neck size. Sometimes the velcro will catch on my helmet liner if I ride with an open collar. It is fine if I ride with a scarf and an open collar -- no problems at all.I love the style and all the pockets. Plenty of storage for daily use. I found that the fabric was a bit stiff initially, but has softened with use, and I like the waxy feel of the outer fabric. Since I commute, I have found the jacket to be good in light rain. I haven't been in a downpour yet, but I expect it will perform like other Tourmaster products I have used -- in other words, outstanding. I purchased the large based on the other Tourmaster jacket I have and it does seem to be sized just a tad smaller than normal, but overall a good fit. I think that the extra large would have been too big for me.If you want a 34 length jacket at an amazing price -- the Tourmaster Rincon is the one for you.

Cons: XL size size made me join weight watchers
Only wore my new Rincon on a little 100 mile trip to look at a used truck. Very windy 55 degree dayand I was comfortable. Haven't tested it in the rain yet too busy fixing the used truck but I know I will soon. Happy wmy purchase and would do it again.

I have been riding with this jacket for a few months now. summer in Upstate NY!
looks
I like the canvas look. It is much finer than sail canvas, and the black is pretty black. it does look like a motorcycle jacket though, and is a little bulky, though not bad at all. looks clean!
features
excellent ventilation system, excellent pockets lots! though they can be a little annoying to get into with gloves on, due to their waterproofing flap. not bad though!
little reflective triangle is minimal, but it works. the zippers and velcro, and buttons are all very good quality.
I haven't used the lining yet, but ive heard its of somewhat low quality. it doesn't look so bad. I've worn this in temperatures ranging 100f to 40f and it has been totally fine. the ventilation is great for a jacket at this price.
its waterproof, and works, which is great
fit
I am pretty small, 5'10' 140lbs, long arms, and the small fits me very well, which is nice, because 'small' seems to mean different things to different manufacturers. it is adjustable enough to be snug or loose.
complaints
the collar is a little low, it would be nice if it was a little higher, got some sunburn between the collar and my helmet. a bandanna will solve this problem. as i said before, the pockets, though large, are a little tight to get things out e-zpass on the move.
overall; I am very happy with this jacket. its nice, tourmaster will take care of you, and its cheap!
