Could not have bought a larger size because the body of the jacket would have been too big. Jacket is good quality-I recommend it. Deco on sleeves is a little too "girly" for my taste but I avoided the pink trim color. This is a very well-made jacket with lots of great features, many pockets and vents. When the weather gets colder I will only be able to wear a thin long-sleeved shirt under it. With the liner in that should not be a problem.

After 15 years of wearing leather, I decided to switch to a fabric jacket.. I measured according to the mfg sizing chart and it showed I should have been a size 18. so this is what I ordered. When it came, it was too small, so I had to send it back and get a size 20,and pay return shipping charges. But service was prompt and when I got the size 20, it fit me great. I love this coat. It is lighter than my leather and weatherproof. So far coldest I have ridden with it is 42 degrees and it was very warm and comfortable without having to layer up in sweatshirt underneath as I was used to with the leather. I also love the design and cut. It has pockets everywhere I need them, lots of adjustable features to keep the fit snug without being tight and inside is a cellphone and also mp3 pockets in addition to outer pockets and lots of adjustment options. The price is higher than some I had looked at, but I understand why as quality is great.
