Pros: Easy to put on, allow the bottom of your sole to be open for traction on the road and pegs, great reflection and function. Have not experienced them in the rain yet.

I wear a size 13 shoe, and am always uncomfortable when ordering shoes on-line. But when the sizing for these said 13 to 14 I figured there would be enough fudge room to fit my boots. Not even close They might fit an 11 to 12, but even that is doubtful. Worse, they wouldn't even fit over my sneakers which don't have near the footprint of my boots Thus the 3 rating. They are well built and I'm sure would work very well. If they fit they would go on very easily and the velcro strip runs the full length top to bottom providing a good seal. Of course I wasn't able to try them out. The sole is open so you're sole is actually your bootshoe bottom. Don't see where that would be a problem. I recommend these if you're able to find ones that fit.
