Pros: easy to use
Cons: have to make a permanent change to your handlbars
I've used TM for years on my Honda ST1100. I just put them on an ST1300. You have to pull out the insides of the right handlebar to insert TM's handlebar mechanism in order to attach the TMs. This might make it difficult, if not impossible to attach other bar end weights in the future. You can usually engage the TM with just a grip amnd twist of your little and ring fingers. I found someone to make a knurled ring around the edge of the TM and can engage with just a swipe of my finger. My previous ones worked well even with grip heaters. I haven't tried heated grips with these yet, so I don't know if they will work welll, but I expect them to.
