Pros: Standard model is beautiful and funtional
Cons: pricey, but well worth the difference
I have these on my VRod and my wife's Sportster and we love them As a mechanic I love good workmanship in machined parts. These are a work of art We have the standard model on both bikes and they add a beautiful finished look to the bars and the weight reduces vibration noticeably. They function very well with a twist of the outer knob creating a nice gentle hold of the throttle that is easily overridden. My wife's hands would go numb occasionally and these solved her issues. Having ridden with these for years, it now drives me nuts to ride a bike without them Thank goodness for the little shops that still do extraordinary work.
