SUPER comfortable - TJ NY
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Comfort, safe for work, easy to wear, good ankle protection
Cons: Not much. They're light duty boots so don't expect them to replace your canyon carving boots with these.
I wear these to work during my commuting days on the bike. I don't need to change shoes like I used to. The sole is stiff for riding and I can get up on the pegs when needed and the sole is still flat, but doesn't feel like plywood boards while walking around. Perfect for a commuter going to a business casual office environment. I probably wouldn't walk miles in these, but around the office and down the block to grab lunch, no problems.
TCX makes a quality product and they are excellent motorcycle boots. The company TCX was formerly known as Oxtar, but after a legal dispute with Alpinestars, they were forced to change their name to TCX Boots
. One thing you will notice is that TCX is certainly a premium Italian motorcycle boot manufacturer. They focus on performance and quality and some cases they can pretty price competitive with similar boots on the market. All TCX Boots are manufactured in European sizes, so make sure to visit the size chart below to see the US conversions. Based on customer feedback we have found them to run typically pretty true to size. However, they typically will fit people with a wider foot better. If you have a narrower foot you might want to consider Alpinestars.TCX Provided Sizing Guidelines
