TCX Pro 1.1 Boots available from Competition Accessories
Completely new for 2012, TCX introduces the Pro 1.1. A mid-price point off-road boot with high-end features to rival competitors' top models. The Pro 1.1 draws on technologies found in TCX's top-of-the-line Pro 2.1 off-road and R-S2 race models including a durable, dual-compound outsole, buttery-smooth buckle set, and Soft Pad dual-density polyurethane memory foam padding in the ankle and Achilles areas for exceptional comfort. Also features the Dual Joint System which allows for natural forward/backward bending and limited medial/lateral bending at the ankle joint, and a High Grip Zone rubber heat guard on the medial side of the boot for good grip and heat protection.

LINING: AIR TECH breathable with new Soft Pad dual-density polyurethane memory foam padding in the ankle and Achilles areas for exceptional comfort
PROTECTION: aggressive polyurethane heel counter, lateral support, shin guard, and backstay with Dual Joint System; ankle guards; reinforced polyurethane toe and medial support; rubber heat guard; polyurethane shift guard
CLOSURE: 4 replaceable aluminum buckles with polyurethane inserts; Velcro® band
INSOLE: molded EVA with antibacterial, moisture wicking face fabric
SOLE: durable, dual-density replaceable rubber sole
TCX makes a quality product and they are excellent motorcycle boots. The company TCX was formerly known as Oxtar, but after a legal dispute with Alpinestars, they were forced to change their name to TCX Boots. One thing you will notice is that TCX is certainly a premium Italian motorcycle boot manufacturer. They focus on performance and quality and some cases they can pretty price competitive with similar boots on the market. All TCX Boots are manufactured in European sizes, so make sure to visit the size chart below to see the US conversions. Based on customer feedback we have found them to run typically pretty true to size. However, they typically will fit people with a wider foot better.
