Pros: Looks, vision, light weight, changing lenses, quick release latch
Cons: doesnt cut through the wind as well as i was expecting
Overall i give it a 4.5 stars. Love the look, its super light. The helmet size is true so size from there size chart accordingly. my cheeks were smooshed for a few rides before the padding packed out. The black and silver lense are great. Changing them is quite simple after figuring out the right technique. I was expecting an extra set of screws for the visor like most MX helmets come with but this was not the case. The noise inside this helmet is loud at speed. I'm 26 and i like road noise but i could see this getting old after an hour unless you had head phones while riding down the freeway doing 70mph. ive owned an mx helmet with goggles that i thought had more noise canceling than this helmet. my icon street helmet is very quiet so its something you will have to get used to. i gave it a 7 out of 10 for loudness 10 being super loud. I believe this is due to the way the lens is shaped with the visor. heads phones fit great inside this helmet The visor does not like cross winds while at speed. i have a big neck and i could imagine someone with a little tooth pick for a neck having aches after but hey its a good way to build up those neck muscle sits the lightest helmet ive own , the paint and visor have held up well from some dings so far. the one thing Speed and strength should invest in is a chin skirt because there is quite a bit of whirlwind around your lip and nose but i was able to just use the chin skirt form my icon and it blocked most of the wind. the air vents are great they do a great job of keeping you cool and when they are closed your head will stay warm during the winter. the icon i had needed to have the vents taped over to keep the heat in.the latch strap is great for the price, its a great deal
