No Brainer - Linkz OH

Pros: Too much to list.
Cons: Sleeves run short unless tall is ordered. Heavy.
Bought this jacket after looking at the pictures of it because it looked like it had everything I ever wanted in a jacket. Turns out it does I cant think of another jacket that is as well constructed and under 200. When going down the interstate on my KLR650 with all the vents open it might as well not be there this thing flows air like you wouldn't believe. I look cool to boot as well. I just wish they still had LG Tall so I could exchange for that but I love this jacket so much Im willing to put up with the short sleeves and just buy longer gloves till the Quest 5 comes out this Fall. Would deff recommend this product. 6'-190lb-Muscular.

Pros: A warm jacket
Cons: none that I've found so far
This is an excellent jacket Hi-Vis Yellow. Lots of pockets and gadget pouches. I road at 31 degrees mid-March and was very comfortable. It's kind of heavy, but it feels good. I'll see how it is when it's warmer and I can take out the liner. I'm 6-4 and ordered an XL-long - it has good sleeve length and does not ride up exposing my wrists when riding. I like it a lot.

Pros: Great fit, Great features, Great value
Cons: none
Overall - a great jacket. I'm 6' tall & 205lbs. SIzed a Large tall. The tall size give me plenty of arm length & fits over a semi-heavy fleese pullover with no problem. Fit is snug, but perfect. If you have a gut, you may need to go up a size. I prefer a comfortable snug fit, rather that a loose fit, feels safer to me. Went with the HiV-Viz yellow as I commute both early morning & at dusk. Tons of relective piping. Plenty of pockets & venting. Collar is comfortable, not biting or otchy at allInner liner is easy off easy on. Won't need once it gets above 45-50 degrees.Local shops had jackets well over 200 to 350. Great value. You wont be dissappointed

Haven't fallen off the bike or ridden in rain with this jacket so I can't comment on the really important reasons I wear safety gear. But a close examination of the goods shows a well made product. It is heavy which in gear means they didn't skimp on materials either in the insulation or protection department. The finish work looks to be done with care and the zippers look like a good choice for the task at hand.Frankly it's much more than I expected for the money.I ride full time and don't normally use cars. In a year I'll have a really good idea of this jacket's merits.Fit is true to size so if you plan on layering up buy a size that will leave room for those layers.
Great Coat - ddreelin VA

Pros: Well armored, Waterproof, nice style, Well ventlated
Cons: Weight
Awsome coat looks good and is well constructed. Lots of pockets and ventalation. Well Padded which causes it to be heavy but nice. Great Price as well. Runs a little small on the sizing Chart so if you are on the upper end of the size it is best to the next size up.
Sliders Kevlar jacket - Cardinal red OR
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Bright yellow color, good road rash protection, good venting for warm weather, many pockets
Cons: It is a bit heavy, but that is because of all the armor it has.
Have a good BMW three quarter jacket that cost about 750, but wanted one with bright day-glo color. This jacket has everything I wanted at much less price. Well made product with lots of protection, lots of pockets, good venting. The only bike accident I had was 50years ago when a lady in a '52 Buick made a left turn in front of me. After being away from bikes for many years, I got back in a couple of years ago. With my bright jacket, my bright yellow helmet and my blinking headlight they really see me now. Several times I have had cars start to pull out in front of me quickly come to a stop when they spotted me. I know I'm not cool in black but I am a lot safer.

the first thing I noticed about the jacket was how heavy it is. its construction and features suggest it should cost at least twice its price. It's a really nice jacket and definitely worth the money.

Pros: Blocks wind Comfortable Warm Easy pocket access Durable
Cons: Wasn't free
I had previously bought the mesh Sliders All-Season 2 Mesh jacket, which I liked a lot, and seemed to be good quality. I needed something for winter out here in Texas. First off, this jacket's build quality is amazing. Fit was great, very comfortable, and the inside liner is removable for the slightly warmer days. If this jacket cost twice as much, I'd still consider it a good deal. Great for winter, as long as temps are above 35, I think it would be too warm though even with vents in anything above 90.

Pros: Looks like it will keep the water out, just haven't been in any downpours yet. Lots of vents for air to flow through.
Cons: Heavy
The jacket came very quickly. My husband is tall, and the offer of tall sizes to fit him was awesome. He really loves the coat. The zip out lining really is nice to help keep the elements out. Good reflective on it so hopefully he can be seen when out on the road.He rides to work every day. It really was at a great price. He was pleasantly surprised to get it for Christmas.
Awesome Jacket - Firedawg61 GA
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Longer Length, Full Cut, Storm FlapZipper System, Lots of Pockets, Comfortable.
Cons: Chin Strap Rubs Some, Kind of Heavy wLiner and Armor Installed
I wanted a longer jacket than the Joe Rocket one I had. I also wanted one that was more comfortable for a bigger person. Got both with this jacket Awesome quality, liner is warm and the jacket is good in the rain found out accidentally the other day and keeps you dry. I got the fluorescent yellow and offers great extra visibility to motorists. Quality of the jacket seams, stitching and design are all top notch. The ability to adjust the mid-drift section is also a bonus. Only drawback is the collar strap. The Velcro will rub you neck if you don't get it aligned just right. The jacket is pretty heavy with the winter liner and CE armor installed. Other than that, awesome jacket for the price. Would buy again Thanks Sliders, you've made another quality product
Slider Quest 4 - Tucker CO

Pros: warm, comfortable, lots of storage, great jacket especially for the money
Cons: nothing major so far, jacket is still a little stiff so collar can be a little uncomfortable, inner liner needs to stretch a bit
I have not yet had this jacket in warm weather so can not say how the vents work but considering the amount of vents I am sure it'll be fine I live in Denver Colorado and rode yesterday in 29 degree weather with some lightly falling snow. Jacket was very warm with the liner in and just a long sleeve under that. High collar makes it very easy to stop cold breeze from going down your back. Seems to be very waterproof with the snow and melted snow on road. No rain shower yet tho. All the storage is great and love the large pocket in the rear to store the liner when it gets a little warmer.

Pros: Features, Price & Quality
Cons: Could use more snaps at neck for different neck sizes
My new Sliders Quest 4 jacket replaces a much loved, very expensive BMW jacket. I ride year-round and need a jacket that keeps me warm and dry in the winter and has plenty of ventilation to handle our 100 degree summer days. Ive been looking for a replacement for a couple years, but every jacket I compared to my old jacket was a disappointment until I found the Quest 4. Ive had the jacket a couple weeks now, and it is better than advertised. Ive stayed dry through a couple big downpours and been plenty warm on very cold days. The built-in rain hood has come in handy. Im very impressed with the quality and workmanship of the jacket. The number and location of the vents gives me confidence that it will perform as well as my old jacket in the summer. The online demonstration video did a great job explaining the jackets features and showing what mere pictures never could. I would disagree with the videos suggestion that the jackets run small. I tried on medium jackets in local shops, went with my gut, and purchased a medium Quest 4. Im glad I did. Had I followed the advice of the video I would have had to return the jacket for a smaller size. I ordered the Quest 4 riding pants along with the jacket. The pants did run smaller than expected. The waist size runs about the same as what I wear in a normal pants size. Since I wear my riding pants over my work pants, I had to return the pants for the next larger size. Overall, the quality and features were enough to convince me to give up my old jacket, but the price makes this jacket unbeatable. The only thing that would improve this jacket would be to add several snaps at the neck to allow for different neck sizes. The placement of the one neck snap makes the neck a little tight for me, but there is plenty of Velcro for adjustment so I dont have to use the snap.

Overall I love this jacket. I have ridden in Rain, sleet, cold and fairly warm weather. There are tons of pockets and the added protection of kevlar makes it a great value. After buying the jacket I ordered the pants online. They are great too..
Great Jacket - Deutsch Rider GA
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: protection, well place vents, versatile, plenty storage pockets.
Cons: snug in the biceptricep area with liner in
The Sliders Quest 4 Kevlar Waterproof Jacket is a great jacket. The CE Armor is well placed and stays in place Plenty of storage pockets and I greatly appreciate the I.C.E. emblem and pocket on the left sleeve. This jacket is very versatile with the liner, vents, waterproof zippers, and the under collar rain hood . I've worn this jacket in temps from 35f to 82f, rain or shine, it has performed remarkably . The reflective piping and badges are very noticeable at night. The only con I would state, would be the upper sleeves in the liner were snug on my arms. But, by the third to fourth use, it was much better. This is another great product from Competition Accessories
Sliders Quest 4 Kevlar jacket - Marc CA

Pros: very sturdy and keeps me warm in all conditions
Cons: zipper gets stuck around stitching
Usually wear a large, but the sleeve length on the jackets seems much longer than my others. It was easy to exchange for a medium, but the zipper on this one kept getting stuck.. Thankfully, my wife was able ti re-stich the problem areas. Otherwise, I really like the jacket.
Great jacket - Sydblu
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Warm, lots of adjustments, lots of pockets and I feel safe in it
Cons: Collar
I really do love my Quest 3, not a Quest 4, jacket and it appears to have the same collar set up as the 4 does. The collar is large and not very flexible and gets in the way of my helmet movement. It also pushes too hard against my throat if I velcro it together so I have to work around that a bit. but like I said I do really like it and it is a great price for a great jacket. I would recommend it to others, but be careful with the collar.

Pros: Very soft feel, very heavy duty, amazing value
Cons: Runs a whole size small
This jacket is very nice...I was very sad that the 3XL was too small for me, as I was certain that this would be my favorite jacket ever as I took it out of the box. I'd say that in person it feels heavier duty than the impressions I got from the video. Get one Just order up a size...
Quest Kevlar 4 - purplepilot

Pros: Well made jacket with all the features one would need.
Cons: Jacket is cut way too small for an American XL.
Of all the apparel I have purchased over the passed several years this jacket is by far the tightest fitting XL I have tried. I admit I'm a little stout but I've never felt the level of restriction across the shoulders and chest that this jacket displays. I am going to keep the jacket and plan on losing a few pounds over the next several months and the hope will be that, come the Spring, it's going to be fine. Definitely consider this when you size yourself or better yet, try one on in person.

Pros: Water resistance
Cons: Construction, Quality
Received jacket and matching pants as a Christmas gift. Have ridden most days since and the jacket is already falling apart. The left sleeve cuff is tearing from the arm and one of the breast pocket snaps has pulled out of the fabric with the remaining ones not too far behind. The drain holes along the bottom interior of the jacket have sharp edges and do not feel as though they are properly secured. Also, the fabric is easily picked by the velcro zipper cover. For the price of this item I would not recommend this jacket.B.H.
