Great Jeans - 73 Norton
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Very comfortable, easy to position knee pads, great price
Cons: [None]
I was looking for something a little lighter than jeans to wear in the summer. When they arrived, i could see that they were very solid and well made. the fabric is a heavy khaki but breathes well. The pockets for the knee pads give you a lot of flexibility of positioning. I took them out for a test ride in 85 degree weather. They are a little baggier than my relaxed fit jeans but that is a good thing when riding. they did not bind or pinch anywhere. I am still playing around with the positioning of the knee pads to get the ideal coverage. These pants can be worn out to dinner or even to work if your environment is business casual. They do not look like motorcycle pants and the knee pads don't really show at all.I am extremely happy with them.
Very good pants. - Wesley TX

Pros: Good looks and comfortable.
Cons: none
Originally everyone said that these pants run big, but I didn't find that to be the case. I ordered a smaller size and had to return them and order my normal size pant. To be fair I'm athletic and always have to get baggy pants to fit me right so if you're athletic built, order at least your normal pant size and if you want to wear something under them, then order a bigger size. These pants look good enough to wear to work and are very comfortable on long rides and have lots of storage. Overall, extremely good pair of pants.

Pros: Exact fit. Look like normal cargo pants
Cons: None
These pants look great. They fit like normal khakis just thicker. I've worn these when I'm not riding Having side pockets is nice compared to wearing jeans.
COMFORT - RLJ TX
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: LOVE THE MATERIAL UP AGAINST THE SKIN NOT AS RUGGED A FEEL AT THE BLUE JEAN BUT JUST AS DURABLE.
Cons: LITTLE HASSLE IN ADJUSTING THE PLACEMENT OF KNEE ARMOUR BUT NOT A BIG DEAL
THESE WERE A LITTLE LARGER FIT MAYBE BY A 12INCH IN THE WAIST. THIS MAY GOOD IF PLANNING ON WERE ADDITIONAL CLOTHING LIKE LONG JOHNS DURING WINTER MONTHS. AS OF NOW, A NICE BELT WILL HELP TAKE UP THE SLACK. THE CARGO POCKETS PROVIDE SECURITY FOR LARGER OBJECTS PLACED IN THEM. NOTHING WILL FALL OUT WHILE RIDING AS IT HAS BUTTONS AS WELL AS ADDITIONAL ENTER FLAP. IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON GETTING THINGS IN AND OUT THE CARGO POCKETS QUICKLY ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN EVEN IF LEFT UNBUTTON. THE ADDITIONAL FLAP PROVIDES THE SECURITY OF NOTHING FALLING OUT WHILE RIDING AN INTENTIONAL DESIGN FEATURE I ASSUME. I ALSO BOUGHT THE KNEE ARMOUR WHICH IS COMFORTABLE ONCE GET THEM IN THE RIGHT POSITION.

Pros: Comfortable, and convenient to ride in
Cons: Do run large, more colors
I bought these as my first real riding pants in 25 years of riding, and dam, why did I wait Much more comfortable than jeans, and easier to get to stuff with the cargo pockets. Not able to comment on how they do in the hot, but 3 hours in 40-45 degree was not too bad. Good buy.

Pros: Outstanding comfort, plenty of belt loops and pockets for all day use.
Cons: Not a con but, runs a little big as advertised in waist.
I have had this product for a couple of months and have been very pleased with it. I got the additional CE knee armor when I made the original purchase. Armor fits well with plenty of adjutment capability to fit just right. The pants are very comfortable for all day riding. They are a little warm on hot days but, that can be expected. I like the idea to be able to get off the bike and go do something with out looking like a biker while I am out and also have the protection while I am riding. They are cargo pants and as advertise they are a little baggie but, for me that is what I like...allowing air to move about. Also a plus, is that they are a thick cloth so that when a big bug hits you at highway speeds you do not feel it but you know it.Excellent product
Very comfortable, but go long - CamGSA
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Very comfortable for all day wear
Cons: None
I normally wear a 33x34 in jeans and went with the 32x34 based on reviews I read elsewhere. Off the bike the pants fit perfect, just loose enough in the waist to not bind when sitting on the bike. Unfortunately, the 34 length was a bad choice. On the bike the pants rode up like all pants do which I didn't take into consideration. Definitely order the next longer length i.e., 36 and you won't be disappointed. Read my review of the Slider 4.0 Khaki pants for more information on the fabric and wearability. Besides the length, very happy with the pants - a solid 5 stars.
Very Comfortable - Doug McMillan GA

Pros: Very soft and comfortable with good pockets and armor
Cons: Slightly baggy
Ordered these as another safety measure while riding and am not disappointed. Good quality and very soft and comfortable. They are definitely a little large, so order one size smaller than your normal fit. Highly recommend these as an alternative to jeans
Kevar Slider cargo - Snax VA
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good protection, comfortable fit, good value
Cons: Kevlar directly against skin, baggy cut
Very comfortable and functional pants. Kevlar fabric will be against your skin so whatch out for sensitivities. Pants are true to size albeit a little baggy. Material is slightly thicker and heavier than regular cargo pants. Deep pockets and extra belt loops make this a 4-star buy.
Material defective - RYder CA

Pros: [None]
Cons: Fabric shrinks excessively
I've worn a 30' inseam all my adult life . . pants of all sorts of designs and fabrics. The fit advice suggested the waist runs a bit large, but no mention of length. Ordered my standard 30' length. Out of the box, they were fine. However after 1st wash they shrunk 2 full inches. The 2nd and 3rd washes shrunk them another full inch. My 30 inch length pant is now a 27 inch length. They were unusable. Returned as defective. Claim was denied. In the mean time, ordered a 32 inch length. These shrunk 3 inches too, but 29 inch length is adequate.
Sliders Cargo Pants - M. Ross OH
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Good alternative to Sliders denim pants lighter weight
Cons: Velcro at knees for armor is uncomfortable
As a satisfied Sliders denim pant user I was looking for a good non-denim alternative. These pants provide similar protection as the denim. Since I choose not to wear armor protection at the knees, the sewn in velcro at the knee that would secure the armor is stiff and uncomfortable. A fabric pouch instead of permanent velcro to secure the armor might improve this situation.
Kevlar Cargo Pants - pablo CA

Pros: Peace of mind
Cons: No exact size--all longer inseams
Haven't tried this yet, but the fabric with kevlar looks promising... hopefully I will never have the need to find out.
I like these pants - Chris e. GA
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: comfort, fit, appearance, features
Cons: knee armor
I got these for Christmas and got to wear them on a ride today. They are very comfortable both on and off the bike. They don't look like motorcycle pants either. There's more Kevlar in these than in my wife's pants from another well known maker. They are relaxed fit but seem to have a short rise from the crotch to the waist though. Not enough to concern me or make them uncomfortable. There'd no way these are a 30 inseam like they say though. I've been wearing 36x30 relaxed fit jeans for a number of years and these drag the ground unlike jeans of the same sized. I'd recommend a sturdy belt for these. They are not hot and are very comfortable. My only con is the knee armor and the pockets for it. The mesh for the armor feels scratchy against my legs at first. The armor also seems to rotate the inside of my knees while riding too.All in all, you will not be disappointed if you buy these though They're money well spent

Darn cell phones I didn't get to finish my reviewSo, my con was the cargo pockets, specifically the closures. They use buttons, which are effective, but not practical when wearing gloves and trying fiddle with them. Hook & loop or sprung snaps would have been a better option in my opinion, as these would make the gloves a non-issue. Maybe the 5.0 version will have these. The 4 star rating is because of the pocket closures, otherwise it would get a 5Overall I really like these pants, so much so, that I will order a couple more this week

Pros: comfort, sizing, perceived strength
Cons: pocket closure on cargo pockets
I bought these for commuting around town and work. I'll be getting touring pants soon for distance riding. I found these pants to be very comfortable and soft right out of the box. The sizing, for me, was spot on I wear 32x30 jeans, and ordered the same size in these. They fit perfect in both waist and length. Ordering pants seems to be the most daunting purchase, other than a helmet, when it comes to sizing. What a pleasant surprise to have them fitThe construction appears to be sturdy and well stitched. The Kevlar panels are as described. I've had them for only a couple of weeks, so will have to wait and see how they hold up with washings.
Good pants-Bad sizing - McGee
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Nice looking appears to be good quality
Cons: Inconsistent sizing
Upon ordering this pant, I took the advice of both the customer service associate on the phone, as well as the product description and ordered a size down. Turned out to be as small as if I had bought a size down in my regular jeans. I'm 5'10-190lbs and routinely wear a 3632 jeans. Ordered a 3432 sliders cargo pant length was fine, but waist was uncomfortably small. Returned for exchangerefund the next day. Competition accessories has a great and painless return policy, but I'm about ready to give up on mail ordering pants with known sizing issues. This will now be my third attempt to achieve a brandmodel, color, & size combination that will work for me.
2nd Review - LKLD FL
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: comfort, weight of material, kevlar
Cons: sizing, buttons
Well, after buying a pair of 32x30 olive pants, and being so pleased with them see previous review I ordered 2 more in khaki color.I ordered them the same size as my olive pair. However, they were much larger...much larger So large in fact, that I can use them as overpants, even though the size tag indicates 32x30 as my olive ones. I opened the package on one, but not the other, so that one will be going back. Also, the button on my olive pair, at the zipper, has already come off...after one washing on delicate cycle. Obviously, they still have some issues to work out with their manufacturer, and size variants being one that needs priority. I really want to be able to love these pants, but can't as of this writing. I hope that they make the necessary changes soon enough to remain relevant.
