Fantastic gloves - WaynoJ WA
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Keep your hands very warm and dry not as bulky as most cold weather gloves
Cons: None
I'm normally not much of a cold weather rider, so I didn't own any real water-proof, insulated gloves, but after a recent ride wearing my Sliders Trident Kevlar gloves, I decided it was time to add to my arsenal. I searched all the major brands and didn't find a single reasonably priced glove until I saw these. The Sliders Cold Pro gloves are a great buy they keep you warm and dry, without the bulk of most water-proof gloves. Build quality seems to be typical of the Sliders brand, which is to say excellent. Great knuckle and finger armor, with plenty of palm padding. The availability of safety yellow as a body color is just icing on the cake. I highly recommend these gloves -- they are every bit as good as major brand gloves costing three times the price.

Pros: Warm, leather glove, textile gauntlet, kevlar
Cons: slightly bulky but should improve when they break in, runs slightly small
Measure on the high end of a medium, ordered a large, fits great. Rode to work with heated grips off at 26 degrees fahrenheit, hands were a little cold but not uncomfortable. They are slightly stiff with the insulation and leather but should break in. I hope they will make a glove like this without insulation in the palm for those with heated grips PLEASE Overall they are a great buy, you will not be disappointed.

Pros: very warm and protective
Cons: none
I feel very protected wearing these gloves. They fit great, make sure you order a size larger than you normally wear and flexible enough to work all of your controls and get something out of a pocket. Hi-Vis is an added plus that goes with my hi-vis jacket. Thumbs up

Pros: Very soft and very warm. Wind, rain, and weather proof.
Cons: None
Excellent padding and very waterproof. Order one size larger than normal for a comfortable fit. I really like these gloves and have given them the test. I rode 5 hours in the rain with temps. in the 40's and my hands stayed warm and dry. Well made padding and sewing. Very pleased.
Cold Pro Gloves - Dan

Pros: Warm, very comfortable right out of the box
Cons: need more insulation on the back side of the glove and fingers
Rode in 28 to 30 degree temps the first hour and my fingers got fairly cold but once the temps got to the upper 30's they were just fine, nice glove, very well built, best cold glove i've seen yet.
Very Good - MSgt Ben - USAF
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Well insulated, protective features except...
Cons: Not secure around the wrist, may come off in an accident
I ordered size according to CompAcc's recommendations. Gloves are kinda bulky but I'm surprised that it didn't interfere with feel for the controls. Very nice protective features except that retention is lousy. It may come off when you need it most. The gloves perform very well in cold weather. I've ridden down to the high teens and it kept my hands warm enough that I maintain good control. Nothing went numb in the hour that I rode but the very tips of my fingers will get cold but not frozen after about 35 minutes. The tips didn't get any colder, didn't lose feeling for clutch and brake levers. Are heated gloves better Maybe as far as keeping the hands warm, they are but I doubt that crash protection is as good as these Sliders gloves. Very good value and highly recommended. Only improvement I want is a strap that cinches around the wrist.

Outstanding construction and protection. They work well & keep my hands warm in 32 degree weather. COMPACC clearly says they're running a bit small, and they're not wrong Order big.
These gloves are excellent - Mike LA
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Extremely waterproof and warm, also they block the wind very well.
Cons: None - I cannot find anything wrong with these gloves
These gloves feel great from the first time you put them on. No break-in period. I rode seven hours in continious rain with 50 degree temps and my hands stayed warm and dry. They are very soft feeling gloves with no pinch points on the inner seams that rub your hands. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a very well made glove. The protection they offer is phenomenal. I wear an XL but took the advice of others and ordered an XXL and the fit is perfect. If you are looking for a great value in a high quality glove these will make you happy.

Pros: Quality build, good materials, warm, comfortable. Great pricevalue
Cons: Need to make more. Run out of sizescolors too soon.
Great gloves at a super price. Waterproof, warm, and they have great protective qualities. What more could you ask for. Good color selection too. At least I did. Showed my buddy and his wife my yellow. They both fit in my mediums so they each ordered a pair. BUT they didn't have the color they wanted and had to order orange no black. They weren't even on sale and they were out of colors. These go fast, so if you fine the size and color you want, don't pass up a super deal. Highly recommended.

Pros: Price, fit, warmth
Cons: None so far. Were out of black in my size.
These were a great product for the price. They keep hands warm down into the 30's. Best of those I've tried so far for winter riding. I bought the 3X so I could use a liner but so far haven't needed to, tho I tried one and it fit. They are comfortable and provide good feed back with the controls, at least for me. Comparable to higher priced gloves. Don't yet about long term wear, or water resistance.

Nice glove at a nice price - Will NJ
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: very comfy, warm, reasonably protective, wide cuff
Cons: a little clumsy due to bulky profile
For 40 I was pleasantly surprised with the value offered by this glove. Several name brands offer less at a steeper price. First thing that struck me is how comfy they are, great fit and soft inside. The fit is right on, I wear a 2XL in most gloves and this was no exception. They are also quite warm, I'd say the warmest pair I own now and I own several cold weather gloves. The insulation seems to do its job throughout the glove with the exception of the extreme fingertip region, but nothing but heated gloves can really address that. The protection seems good, and better than most winter gloves as most makers seek to abandon armor in order to maintain a svelte profile. The stitching seems done well enough and I'd expect them to last at least a few winters. I really like the wide cuff as many gloves are sized too small in the cuff and it really cuts of your circulation in your wrists once you pull it over your cold weather jacket. This one is plenty roomy so no numb hands from circulation issues. Overall I'd recommend this glove without hesitation, lots of sizes and colors to choose from as well.

Pros: Seriously Warm
Cons: No pull tabs
Purchased these gloves about a month ago and since then I've gone on several multi-hour rides in temps ranging from 37-50 degrees. got to love the wild weather in VAFor my first outing with these babies it went on a 4 hour ride around Southern Maryland with a daytime high reaching a balmy 37 degrees and in all honesty my hands NEVER got cold. Second outing was riding to work at 630am maintaining 70mph for 40 minutes in 48degree weather, again, my hands were NEVER cold and actually started to sweat. Yea, their that warm. Glove construction is top notch And unlike other winter riding gloves I've used in the past the palm area is not over stuffed so gripping the bars and breakclutch levers aren't an issue. make no mistake, these are bulkier than standard non winter gloves but personally I think they did a great job at maintaining comfort to warmth ratio. Fingers are articulated and this also adds to the ease of use. Oh, did I mention they are WARM They seem to offer good protection as well, hope I never need to test it, and there is a pocket area behind the knuckle guards. I purchased a size Small and sizing for me was spot on My hands are 3 12in wide at the palms, 7in long from wrist to tip of middle finger.I only have one complaint there are no pull tabs Getting the first glove on and adjusting the Velcro is a snap The second glove is a little more tricky Because they are bulkier than standard riding gloves it's difficult to pull the other glove on, over your jacket and grabbing the Velcro tab if not un-Velcroed prior can be difficult to say the least. That's it, my only complaint and it's really not even all that bad Did I mention they are WARM If your riding in temps of 50 or up bring a second pair of non winter gloves cuz your hands will sweat.Seriously, buy these Your hands will thank youOh, and did I mention they are WARM

Pros: Very warm down to about 20F
Cons: Maybe not for extremely cold weather
I ride year-round in a moderate climate here in Georgia. I have used these gloves down to the upper 20s and found them to be much warmer than my previous winter gloves. The insulation is thick. The armor seems to be very good, hope I don't do any testing. The chamois on the thumbs works great All-in-all an excellent purchase. YMMV

I got these gloves one size larger to fit over my new heated glove liners. They have every feature from Insulation and Kevlar to Rainproof which is what I wantbut, of course, this makes them a bit bulky. They are breaking in nicely and will be my go-to winter overglove with heated gear.

Compared to the Alpine Stars Winter Gloves I purchased from another source, these are so much better, great at less than half the price. Even suitable for snowmobiling. I've tested them down to below freezing and the work better than anything so far. These are the last step before heated gloves, grips or glove liners.

Pros: Warm, waterproof, protective
Cons: None
These gloves are warm, waterproof, and have some level of protection which is kind of hard to find in a winter gauntlet. I ordered these for when my Rev'it Monster gloves with some silk liners aren't cutting it. These fill the bill. They are warm. Have padding and a reinforced knuckle on a separate flap to allow better movement. The leather is surprisingly good quality. The gauntlet is long so it will easily fit over a jacket sleeve and prevent air from going up your sleeve on a cold ride. All in all these are a great deal on a pair of gloves with these kinds of features. I've tried some other sliders stuff and they are kind of hit or miss but these are a hit.

Pros: Warm, roomy, visible
Cons: None yet
Hi future glove ownersI recently purchased these gloves and I rode with them today for the first time. So far, they are pretty good hand wrappers. I rode in 43 degree temps with a fairly high humidity and I ended up with my hands a little sweaty. That is a big change over the handsicles I usually have with my leather gloves. The ride home tonight promises to be even colder and I look forward to it. My wife bought me the Sliders Kevlar jacket and it with the gloves and I was toastyIf you have long sausages on your hands like I do, maybe order a size larger. This gave me the little extra room in the fingers so they weren't feeling crunched at the ends. I have yet to see how waterproof tthey are, as living in SoCal, there isn't much of the wet stuff. I'll update this when it rains and I have more miles on them.Just buy them. No, don't look elsewhere, just give them your money. You will thank yourself. You will say, self, thank you.

Pros: Curved Form, Quality Stitching, Extra Warm, Awesome Price
Cons: Very difficult to put in contact lenses Come ON What CONS
Ok, just bought these and immediately put them to the test....rode in 26F and there is a slight possibility that I did well over the 65 MPH speed limit I only did it so you won't have to...sh sh sh. What kind of review would this be otherwise Anyway, I love the curved form, but they are not so stiff that I got carpal tunnel syndrome extending for the clutch. Excellent construction with great protection. And they look KickA## As for the cold, naturally my fingertips got a little cold riding at said speed in 26F, but unless you wrap your hands in house insulation, you're gonna feel it a little. I did ride at about 37 and they were awesome. I have had some of the 'top of the line' winter riding gloves and PAID for them....these gloves are every bit as good if not better Do yourself a favor, don't put your bike away because it is below 60F Be a MAN for Pete's Sake....get these gloves and a pair of the riding pants too and take the old girl out for a spin at least three times a week....she'll thank you for it Vroom-Vroom

Pros: Price, Nice tight fit, Very warm, Good build quality
Cons: None so far.
I ordered these gloves for riding 68 miles to work at 245am in northern Colorado. After the first day, 41 degrees and hiway speeds 75-85mph for an hour I love these gloves. The fit is nice and tight but a little stiff. I think they will break in over time and after a few miles I didn't notice the stiffness. My hand were warm enough for my palms to sweat on my non heated grips but the mosture was wicked away nicely and my hands did not get chilled. I hope I never need to test the safty features of these gloves but all of the padding and protection seems to be in the right places. I have tried on may other gloves at local bike shops but could not bring myself to spend 100 plus dollars on gloves. These feel every bit as nice as the more expensive gloves I tried.

Hilly Gorelick
Just received these gloves tonight, and I am extremely impressed. I have owned many gloves, and you can tell by stitching and material, that these are very well made. The knuckle armor is rock hard, the reflective material is highly reflective, and the leather is reasonably thick. With Kevlar, thinsulate, and hipora, this is an exceptional value. My fingers measure roughly 3 inches from base, pinky more like 2. In size large, the gloves fit me perfect, finger tips just touch the inner ends of gloves, though the pinky is about half inch longer, but I'm used to this. So id say they run a bit smaller, so order a size up if you are between sizes. They feel like they will keep your fingers warm and protected. I will use these when snowboarding as well. High vis is great looking and will help you be noticed, which is what you want. I will be buying more of these as gifts, and I have to say thank you to the staff at Compacc. You all do a great job, you are so helpful and professional over the phone, email confirmations come right away, and when I didn't get one email, I called, and 5 minutes later email arrived. This is clearly a well run company, and you have my continued loyalty. Thanks again, and happy holidays! Sincerely, hilly gorelick, ny.

A perfect fit for me! An attachment said I see the level of water proof protection it provides. Directions instructed me to pour putting hot not boiling water into the glove and just watch the steam come out. I did not do this because I need to use the glove. I ordered a small. My palm width is about 3.5 in.

Pros: great deal
Cons: runs a little tight
It runs a little tight but a little break in is going to help it losen up. I used this in low 30's at freeway speeds and they kept my hand warm, no need for an extra insert. But if you want to use an insert then order the next size up since they run pretty much true to size. I wear a medium on every brand of glove and I got these in a medium. I got the hi-viz which is a plus since it is hard to find cold weather gloves in this color. Overall a great product and great price

I have used these gloves at about 46 degrees with no wind protection and while they didn't keep my hands warm it was tolerable for about an hour. I haven't had the opportunity to test them for being water proof. The gauntlets fit over my coat sleeve but just barely. I first ordered the XL size but had to exchange them for 2XL and there still isn't room for under-gloves. Overall a very good value for the money.

Pros: Warm, visible, good armor
Cons: Pulls off too easily
Great winter gloves that are very warm and offer impressive protective features at this price. I got the hi-viz orange and it really stands out. The large reflective patch also works well at night. Only negative is they pull off too easily. Even when strapped on as tight as possilbe, I can just yank them right off. I imagine that would suck in an accident. These gloves seem very well made and very warm in the mid 30's in S.LA winter. Have not tested waterproofing as I dont ride in cold winter rain. The whole glove has a good heavy feel but the insulation in the palms and finger bottoms could be thinner. Hopefully it gets less stiff as they break in.

Bought for cold weather - Tom C NC
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: offers good protection, seems good quality for the cost
Cons: not as warm as advertised
bought these thinking that I would be able to ride in the 30's and my hands would stay warm. Nope. I have a half hour commute on an unfaired bike in the morning, and 10 minutes in, my hands were chilly, especially in the fingers and palms around the grips, and the tops of the fingers in the front. No heated grips on the bike, but that probably would help immensely. For my commute, the chill is tolerable, but I wouldn't want to be riding in the cold all day for sure. They also are pretty stiff when you first get them, but they seem to be breaking in with time. I hope that they don't go from broken in to broken down at the same time. I'd recommend for riding in the 40's and up, but the 30's is too cold for just the glove.
Nice gloves - kevlexus10 VA
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Warm up to 32 degrees for me, not a lot of break in needed
Cons: Forearm strap not the best
Nice gloves for the money. They do a good job at keeping my hands down to about 32 degrees. They are however a lot warmer than my Alpinestar Apex Drystar. They are a little bulkier but you get use to it after a couple of rides. Palm protection seems OK. I haven't crash tested them yet to I can't say how they will hold up. My only gripe is the gauntlet strap. It's not much to it really so it doesn't cinch down like some other gauntlet gloves I've seen. For someone on a budget these are a home run for some winter gloves. Thanks Competition Accessories for the great prices on these gloves.
Best winter glove value - JCinNC NC
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Fit, comfort, cold weather ability, visibility
Cons: Gloves come off too easily
At the price CompAcc sells these gloves at, it was worth a try. I've already got another high-dollar, high-end glove from a major manufacturer to compare them against. I really feel like the Sliders Cold Pro gloves offer almost everything the other gloves does at less than half the cost I commute in the dark this time of year, so I got the high-viz orange. Combined with the large reflective patch these gloves really stand out - perfect when dealing with unwary cagers. The gloves fit great. They're well insulated, so they're a little bulky and you lose some feel and dexterity, but they're still very functional and comfortable. I've had them at interstate speeds in the mid-30s and they work great on my completely exposed sportbike. Throw on some glove liners, turn the grip heaters on and I'm good to go now The stitching and overall quality of materials and craftsmanship of the glove is pretty good. The gloves have good protective features with the extra leather layers and padding in the high-wearimpact areas and with the hard knuckles. My biggest complaint is that even when securely strapped on, I can just pull the gloves off. Surely a simple velcro hook and loop fastener at the wrist would solve this issue Beside that shortcoming, I think that, for the money, this is arguably one of the best winter glove values out there.

Pros: Priced right, ok fit, good protection
Cons: A bit snug in my size
Bought glove based on other reviews. I'm pleased overall but would change a few things. Ordered correct size but they are a bit snug which doesn't help with warmth. However to go up a size would mean fingers would be overly long. For the price and function I'm not complaining.
warm and dry - B. D. Chambers MN
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: good price, good fit, warm, keeps the wet out.
Cons: none so far
They just arrived yesterday, and since I'm practicing wet-weather riding prior to moving to Seattle, I decided to give them a try. Temps were in the 40s with drizzle and rain, which used to mean driving, but not anymore. The fit is nice-not as snug as my A-Stars Tech-Road GTX, which are almost too snug but roomy enough for good movement. I bought medium as I usually do, and the sizing seems perfect. I used the right glove to wipe the seat dry, and it seems the waterproof membrane works. My middle finger on that hand seemed a bit cooler than the others, which maybe due to being wet on the outside. Otherwise, hands were warm and dry. I don't intend to intentionally crash-test them, but so far they pass all other tests. My only complaint is that the Hi-Viz isn't available in medium the reflective patch will have to do
Fritz.
First, sizing.... I usually wear large in gloves. So i ordered large and when they arrived thought the finger length was too short. especially in the left ring finger, due to the armor on that finger pinching on that finger's middle knuckle when i made a tight fist. but when holding on to the handle bars no problem. i decided against trading up since that part of the gloves are leather and would probably stretch out a bit after break-in. sure enough, after walking around the house with them on a couple of days and constantly making tight fists they feel fine now.
comfort.... all i can say is, that lining feels so cushy. a little bulky when using the hand controls but nothing one can't get used to. and for winter/insulated gloves it's to be expected.
warmth.... the first morning i used them outside temps were about in the mid-upper 40F. after a 25 min. commute on a sportbike @ speeds above 70mph, hands felt fine. not warm but definetly NOT cold. very next morning was colder by at least 10F. same commute, same speeds and hands were just cool but both middle finger tips were cold and slightly numb.
i don't usually ride in temps that cold on 2nd day, just wanted to see how well they do their job.
very pleased with these gloves so far, will see how they perform over the winter. these definitely extend my riding season a lil longer.

Cons: Bulky, no wrist strap
I seem to have really long, skinny hands so I bought the XXL which are fine for length, but too wide. They are still comfortable though and quite warm.I'd prefer they had a velcro wrist strap to secure the in case of a crash and a visor wiper would be nice too, but for the price I'm happy with them.

Pros: Beautifully made, great buy, reflective panel, available in Hi Viz
Cons: Under 40 degrees.....not so hot, giant Sliders logo
These are beautifully made gloves, with smooth, soft leather and nice stitching. Fit is snug....but I'm sure they'll break in over time. Only negative....sub 40 degree temps and your fingers get cold on the freeway within 15 miles or so. Since I live in Northern Cali it's not a huge problem, but I do ride home from work a couple of nights a week and it's been getting down to the 30's here. My old Joe Rocket Nitrogen gloves are warmer. Hate the logo-not only is it very large but it lacks any style whatsoever. Still.....there's very few choices of cold weather Hi Viz gloves out there and for 40 these are a steal

The cuff perfectly fits over my jacket sleeve and the velcro adjustment on it is easy to use and effective. However, the sizing is not even close to porportional. Every glove I've ever purchased was a size large, I had to buy these in Extra large, yet the fingers were extremely tight and I do not have big fingers or hands. The tips of my fingers pressed against the glove fingertips which created cold spots and prevented my hands from comfortably holding the grips. It's too bad, I really wanted to give these gloves five stars, especially after reading all the positive reviews. I have tried a temperate weather Sliders glove with fitment issues. Large was too small and in that case, extra large was waaaaaay too big. The factory in Pakistan needs to get a better handle on standardizing their glove patterns.
