Shoei helmets have improved on the Shoei RF-1100 Solids helmet by adding a host of improvements to increase rider comfort and overall performance. This is the new Premium Sport and Sports touring helmet on the market.
For years the RF1000 solid has been the bench mark for high end sport/touring helmets. But the design is now dated and needs some updates. For 2010 Shoei has remodeled the helmet with the new RF-1100 solid helmet. They have apparently been listening to the consumer and have added a removable liner and increased the number of shell sizes to 5 total.
