I have bought 2 Shoei helmets from competition accessories you can't beat their prices or service. Both helmet arrived within days of ordering and are of exceptional quality. I would hessitate recommending this helmet to anyone looking for an great helmet at great price. The new visor shape and seal design make it exceptionally quiet.

I have had several Shoei helmets over the past 15 years. All have been quality products. I have an XL head size and very much appreciate the shell design specifically for larger domes like mine. I went down once at about 25 mph, the back of my head hit the asphalt. I saw stars, but my Shoie saved me What else needs to be said

Bought the RF1100 to replace an old RF800 that I had bought on Ebay. The old one is quieter, but I think that is because it is not vented nearly as well as the RF1100, Shoei helmets are great. It's your choice on how well you want your head and face protected in the event of an accident. I chose Shoei.

It's a very nice helmet, sharp looking, and so comfortable. I went with the blackwhiteredsilver. Matches my bike great I really don't know why you wouln't buy this helmet. I'm just a college kid and a shoei is expencive, but I can't put a price on my life. very satisfied with the quality in this helmet. The cost is well worth it. I upgraded from a HJC. The RF-1100 is very quiet, even at high speeds. I live in Texas, on those hot days it's well vented so I don't pull off the helmet sweating. The helmet also comes with the breath guard and chin guard. On a side note, long distance in this helmet is comfortable as well.

The helmet is light, comfortable, with easy to remove interior and cheek pads.I wore an RF-1000 for several years before crash testing it this fall. The RF-1000 shoei helmet did exactly the job it was intended for, no damage to my head or face. The visor stayed in place during an extended tumble and slide. This helmet appears to be even better with additional features not on the RF-1000.

Don't know how CompAcc does it got this brand new RF-1100 for 349 retail over 500. These Shoei's are great I had the RF-1000 took a minor spill on the Vstrom... thought it prudent to upgrade. Great service, delivered asap. Would recomm both the RF-1100 and CompAcc.

This is a good helmet and for 350, you can't beat the price. Granted you don't have much choice in design, but that's a small price to pay for such a good helmet. The visor is easy to switch out I have a dark smoke and clear and the lever works pretty well when you want the ventilation. The vents are surprisingly easy to open and do a decent job of letting the air through. I think the removable inner lining is a nice feature, although I haven't actually removed it yet. Overall it's a good helmet. I was considering a Qwest, but at this price, RF1100 all the way.

Have had Shoei helmets for years. Just got my new RF-1100 in the mail today. Took it out for a spin, and OMG The difference is night and day from my RF-1000 The ventilation is so much improved, and it feels so much lighter Great helmet recommend it to everyone And thanks to Competition Accessories for the great price and service You're the best

Yeah it's a premium, expensive helmet but it is worth every penny. Bought it from competition accessories at a great price, and they shipped it fast and free of charge. 350 for a quality Shoei helmet isn't much. I've used many Shoei helmets in the past and have had lots of cheaper helmets as seconds. It's a premium helmet for serious riders. Cheaper helmets may offer the same protection but they certainly lack the fit and feel. If you want a helmet that is light weight, quiet, easy to remove lining for wash, exchange shields fast, aerodynamic at high speeds without turbulence...well, that's the helmet you buy. I'm tired of all those HJC, Icon etc thermoplastic chinese made junk that magazines claim great bang for the buck. Do you head a favor, buy a good lid for it.

Switched from a Shoei RF 1000 to the RF 1100. It's quieter than the older RF1000, but was hoping this one would be even more quiet. Ventilation seems good, but haven't used in the Summer heat yet.

The helmet looks beautiful, is light and quieter then both my HJC and Scorpion and has some nice features.But WOW, VERY difficult to squeeze in and out of. Once on it's OK, but squeezing it past my ears is just painful. Out of curiosity I tried removing the cheek pads, and the upper half of the helmet, the part that surrounds my head, fit perfect and there was no problem putting it on..so the size large is correct, it's just those cheek pads.Fortunately they do have smaller replacement cheek pads. I probably could have gone with an extra large or an Arai but for the track I'd rather get a helmet that's a little too tight and hope it breaks in then one that's a tad loose. Great close out price too.
