By inventing the new Shoei RF-1100 Chroma Helmet, Shoei helmets has improved on the RF-1000 helmet by adding a host of improvements to increase rider comfort and overall performance. New the Shoei RF1100 Chroma Helmet is the new Premium Sport and Sports touring helmet on the market.
For years the RF1000 has been the bench mark for high end sport/touring helmets. But the design is now dated and needs some updates. For 2012 Shoei has remodeled the helmet with the new Shoei RF-1100 Chroma Helmets. They have apparently been listening to the consumer and have added a removable liner and increased the number of shell sizes to 5 total.

Always worn Shoei. Got the RF-1000 and it was very loud. Helmet got damaged in an accident so I got an RF-1100. MUCH quieter.
