Pros: Great fit. Much less wind noise compared to other helmets I have had. The finish is excellent and the quality of the helmet in terms of overall craftsmandship is excellent.
Cons: My right ear has some irritation from the tightness but I believe the helmet will break in and won't be a problem.
Great helmet. I like it a lot and love the modular features that let me open up the helmet and get a lot of fresh air and sunshine in when I am stopped or going slow. Shoei is the best

Pros: Lightweight, great visibility, quiet
Cons: None
We bought two of these helmets and can't believe how nice this product is. We measured our heads and found the specs spot on. We forget they are on since they fit so well. If you are looking for a great helmet, look no more.
two wheels
Have had and do have quite a few helmets, at this time two Aria, HJC, AGV, Bell and even though the Arai's are a little quieter this Shoei Multi Tec is the helmet I Pickup, OK sometimes I pickup the Arai first but 99 of the time I end up putting on the Shoei. If I had one complaint it would be that the slot in the padding for your sun glass arms was a little larger. I would like to buy another modular and have tried a few on and bought one other. None fit as well, or the mechanisms worked as well, the release and pivots are tighter and smoother, just feels like quality. Even with all that i really feel it is pricey watch-out Shoei the competition is getting closer and closer and much cheaper!

I recently ordered a Shoei Mutitec helmet and wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the product, and more so your service. How this is possible I don't know, but the helmet arrived one day after ordering and was shipped UPS ground. UPS however decided to leave it on my neighbors door instead of mine so I just received it today. This is not your fault. Regardless of UPS the turnaround time was great and you beat the competitions price in to a pulp. Thank you for the great experience. Will I tell all of my riding mates about you.. Oh Yeah. Will I encourage them to do business with you.. Oh Yeah. Thanks once again I really do appreciate you.

Pros: Good Fit, Quiet
Cons: Liner is glued in
I ordered the Multitec and a Sena Bluetooth. The helmet fits me great large and is quiet. The Bluetooth has wired speakers that fit into the helmet ear holes perfectly. The problem comes in trying to fit the wires between the liner and the shell. The Shoei liner is glued in place so I had to make some short slits in the padding. Now it all works perfect, calls are clear and easy to make.A removable liner would be better.
Pricey but worth it - Pudge GA

Pros: Typical Shoei high quality, modular convenience
Cons: More wind noise than a regular full face, tight fitting around the chin
I've wanted a modular helmet since the Shoei Syncrotec first came out but, at the time, I couldn't justify the high price tag when I had a perfectly good Shoei RF700 which was less than five years old. My RF700 is now thirteen years old and the recent price drop on the Multitec helmets has made getting one more palatable. I ordered a Large matte black Multitec and I was impressed by the fit and finish out of the box. Wearing it, I noticed that the helmet was somewhat louder wind noise at cruising speeds 40 to 55 mph than my old Shoei full face but I ride an unfaired Japanese standard so this really is not an issue for me. The field of view is much wider than the RF700 particularly when looking up. The only real gripe I have is, as other reviewers have pointed out, that the faceplate presses down on my chin when properly locked in place. It's not horrible but it is noticeable. Bottom line a very good helmet at an okay price.
