Great jacket for the money. This is my first riding jacket and it is great. Nice thick leather, not too stiff. I have a slight muscular build and it fits fine. It is not cut for the chubby fella. It's cut for an average to slim build. Very happy with the product and minimal cost.

Jacket is very comfortable and feels like its made with really good quality. Elbow armors is great and I can remove a layer on the inside for really hot days. It has great airflow and airflow protections when zippers are closed or open.

Its like you have a jacket that was fit for riding but at the same time, keeps you warm. Only problem is i can see certain parts failing over time.

the maelstrom jacket is a good fit. I wear a 44-46 in a suit and I ordered a 46. The armor is substantial and the leather is thick and soft. There are vents on the biceps that really provide some extra air when needed. What I really like is the price. Hell I could not find anything close for the money.. Great buy and fast shipping..

I originally ordered a 44 eventhough I normally wear a 42 or large. I tried it on when it arrived and couldn't zip it at all, took out the liner and I was barely able to close it while exhaling. Now I'm 5'10 and 180 pounds but the arms were too short also.I was intending to get a refund but called up and spoke to CS, we decided to try a size 48, two sizes larger. Well it came in today and fits nicely, the arms are just long enough and I can zip it up with the liner in. Unfortunately it is in the nineties today and even a mesh is hot to wear. I do like the look and it feels like a much more expensive jacket. I can't wait for cooler weather to really try it out.

I normally take a 48 jacket, but the 46 was a perfect fit. Nice feel. Not much in the way of pocket space, but it looks and feels good so I made a good score on this one

Overall: Very good jacket. I would recommend to any one looking for a good leather jacket with simple styling. I have used Icon and Alpinestars in the past, but lately have needed to cut back some. So I was looking for cheaper option. I looked at jackets like the Coaster from tourmaster, but wanted something a little more racy. So I ordered this one.
Sizing: The XL fit a little looser than I expected, but not loose enough to warrant exchanging to the Large. I am 6 ft. and 220 and usually wear large/XL in most brands.
Pros: Good leather, thick and soft. Plenty of vents. removable liner. substantial armor. plenty of stretch panels make it easy to move in.
Cons: could use adjusters on the ends of the cuff as they are kinda tight on my wrist I have this problem with dress shirts too . Black is the only color option.

I was so excited when this jacket was delivered and I pulled it out of the box. Looked great, seemed very well made, lots of perforations compared to some of the other ones I've looked at. And the price was unbeatableNow - That being said, Here's why I really don't like to buy clothes over the internet - I was looking for the Joe Rocket Sonic 2.0 or Phoenix 2.0. Tried one on at the store when I was in town. Went on the web to order it after sleeping on it for a while. But saw this one and just really couldn't pass it up when I saw the price.Well, after reading some of the reviews, I purchased one that I thought might actually be a bit on the large size. It wasn't even close Way too tight Almost couldn't even zip it up I don't know where it was made, but their idea of a 46 chest is closer to a 43 I have a 45 chest and like I said - Needed help from my wife to zip it up and we laughed our heads off.I would have re-ordered a couple sizes up, but the sleeves were already a little long.So - If you are 6'2, 120 pounds, with long skinny monkey arms, this is the jacket for youIf you're built like 80 of not-so-skinny Americans, pass on it unless you're prepared to pay return freight.
