Love my Sena - Tom W NY

Pros: Easy to install, plenty loud, easy to use while riding, looooong battery life
Cons: Can get in the way of modular sunshield flip-up levers
I've had this for about a year now. Originally installed it on a Bell Revolver Modular. Works great. There is only one possible place to install it so you can use the sun shield lever, but it's in a reasonable spot, although I would have mounted it a few mm's forward if I could so the mic was centered on my face. Instead, it's slightly to the left of my mouth. No problems talking and listening up to street legal speeds. Your helmet will decide whether you can talk beyond that. The revolver is not a quiet helmet, I've since used it on a more expensive helmet and the experience was even better. Quieter helmets definitely extend the speed range for talking, but even on the Bell I could hear GPS and music up to the speed I wanted to go, it's the talking that goes first.I combined this with my iPhone and a ram mount and got the TomTom app for 50 and it's the most amazing setup I can imagine. You could use Apple or Google maps too, but they pull loads of data while you ride, the TomTom app has the maps already installed so no huge data bills. Siri works through the Sena too, so you can get weather reports, find the nearest dealer or shop if you have problems, etc. I've gone well over 6 hours of actual riding with GPS prompts and sometimes music and the Sena's battery never complains. No range anxiety whatsoever

Pros: Excellent reception and sound
Cons: large size - makes helmet hard to fit on bike cases
Great bluetooth headset. Changing from a Scala Rider -much better sound and easier operation, especially when switching between 3 riders. The only minor downside is that it is a large unit and the helmet A Nolan won't fit on my K1600GTL's luggage without removing it.
