I am pleased w headset also - Fast Eddie

Pros: Love the modular design, dark visor built into helmet
Cons: a little noisy around closed visor
I agree with previous this helmet is sized small. I normally wear medLg, but have an XL in this.I added a Chatterbox X1 Slim . Using the Chatterbox speakers mounted inside as they should and the helmet is FUN FUN to ride with. The VOX works well but at high speed, this helmet does whistle around the top edge of the visor.. setting the VOX off in my helmet. Its not enough trouble to fret about. I'm a bigger fan owner of Arai or Shoei... but for the price I got on this helmet ANDChatterbox made it an easy decision. I don't even use the pump-up air bags.Ride Safe... See ya in the Blue RidgeFast Eddie

Overall the helmet is everything that is hyped about it. Easily converts to a 3/4 helmet. It does not fit true to size, I am a medium and ordered a large, it's still a little tight. Besides that the helmet is comfortable.

Great helmet. I like how you can easily convert it from a full-face to a open-face in just a minute. Very easy to do. Yes it does have wind noise but I think most modulars do. If you wear glasses like I do, a modular is the best way to go. Love that sunvisor. Sometimes i can't even tell it is down. Quality made!

All I can say is Terriffic, have purchased many helmets over the years, But the Scorpion EXO-900 bets them all. Feels like it was made for my head. The folks that are having a hard time with fit is because of the shape of their head.
So buy one, you won't be disappointed, unless your head is shaped like a basketball. Ride safe.. Neon is the best color for safety is thats important too you.

Love this helmet!!! I never thought I'd wear a full face but this one is great, it's got a wider opening which is perfect. Very comfortable and I don't notice ANY wind noise, seals nicely under your chin for quite riding. Compacc was the best price and shipping was good.

Pros: Comfortable, lots of features, build quality
Cons: A bit noisy
Needed a new full face helmet to accomodate prescription eyeglasses. Picked this up in white. For the price this helmet is high quality. Everything seems very sturdy. The built in drop down visor is nice, the modular face works smoothly. The air pump bladder to further the fit is awesome I added UClear bluetooth, and this Scorpion is pre molded to accomadate speakers and a bluetooth unit. Only negative is that the helmet is a bit noisy but no more than most helmets.

good helmet. ventilation only adequate. very noticeable wind noise. pump-up system stopped working after about 3 months. it was a pain to use anyway because i kept forgetting to deflate it before removing helmet. i don't miss it. i like sun-shield- i only wish it was darker. good fit and finish on helmet

This Helmet has a lot of wind noise using the top vent . Also it would be nice if the sun visor came down a little more . I hope that they come out with mirrored shields soon .

The fit and finish are very nice. Mechanically it is fine, as well. I could live with the little extra wind noise vs my old Shoei, but this helmet buffets real bad at high speeds. I have a double bubble on my CBR1100XX and my Shoei never buffets, but this EXO 900 does at about 80 mph. On my buddies VFR800, with stock shield, the buffeting doesn't start until after 90 mph. Now, you may say "slow down", yah sure. This should be a fine helmet for someone that has a tall windshield, like a touring bike or youre FJRs and Concoures', but not a sportbike. I'm really disappointed that this cool looking helmet was a waste of money for me.
Forget the wired headset - Will FL

Pros: Quiet for a modular, good airflow
Cons: Impossible to use any clamp-on type headset
I bought this helmet to replace an HJC Symax 2 I use when riding my Harley FLTRU. Big mistake. Due to the clever and unique neck pad design of the EXO-900, it is impossible to use any type of clamp-on headset -- such as the Harley or J&M sets -- on this helmet. You can buy the helmet from J&M with their headset built in, AT FULL RETAIL, but you can't buy the parts to do it yourself. Otherwise, this is a great helmet.
