I drove from Atlanta to the Rock Hill store to buy this helmet. The staff was very helpful. I got a good helmet, with a good fit at a good price. It was well worth the drive. I was very happy to find that I can wear the helmet on the hottest summer days around Atlanta and not suffer. At 98 degrees it's hot but not unbearable because of the great airflow through the helmet. I'd buy another.

I really like the Hi- Viz color, but the down side is how much it fades within a year or 2. This is a fantastic helmet. It looks great, is made extremely well, and is a great buy for the priceLots of options are available from Scorpion to dress it up, keep it clean, and safely store it when you aren't riding.The comfort and fit are as good as any you will find. But the Scorpions fit a little bit smaller than standard. Order one size larger and you should have a perfect fit.I love my EXO700 and I'm sure you will too

i got 2 of these 229 helmets for 109 each with free shipping from Competition Accesories. One for me, and one for the wife and we couldn't be happier. This is a quality helmet. It stays secure on your head and is still comfortable. With the shield down and the optional chin curtain, it is extremely quiet. The shield has never fogged up on me. It is warm with all the vents clsoed and provides great ventilation with the vents open. If something were to happen to this helmet, I'd replace it with the same model. Fits true to size. My other helmets, Simpson open-face & Bell full coverage, are medium sized and fit fine. Based on reviews of this helmet I ordered a large and it fit as I like it. If in doubt, order two sizes larger. Uprated helmets....read ...can be ordered to fit the shape of your head, i.e. round, oval, semi-oval, etc. Their worth is a personal and financial decision. This helmet seems to nicely accomodate all these head sizes. The people that designed my head created an oval shape and the hat fits fine with plenty of ear room. The designed-in rubber nose protectorbafflewhatever-it-is called fits a touch close but does a great job of directing outside air to the nose & mouth area. The helmet is tagged as a M2005 which accounts for the sale price. If you plan on using this hat in competition then check with the rule book. This helmet maybe already out-of-date per some orginization's rules. Very lightweight. Lining snaps out for cleaning. Visor easy to flip up. Excellent ventilation especially in the nosemouth area. Good ventilation in the forehead area. All full coverage helmets make me feel claustrophobic but the ventilation system flows enough air to partially overcome that problem. Noise deadening meets my needs. I like a certain amount of air, wind and road noise. Helmet strap is traditional strap through two buckles and is the usual semi-pain-in-the-kiester to operate. I ordered the Dark Silver which is a nice alternative to black and turns out to be metallic. Removing the stylized silver S on the front of the helmet is a snap. Pop it off with the pocket knife and remove the glue with Goo-Gone or rubbing alcohol. Really cleans up the front of the helmet....sorry Scorpion but your logo had to go. Impressive helmet for the money.

I got the Hi-Viz and it is BRIGHT.... Great fitting helmet. I only have a EXO 1000 to compare it to, this one is feather lite and it fits very well. My EXO-1000 is a XXL and this one is a XL and fits great. And this is also a very quiet helmet too. I think I'll get another one for a back up. These are well worth the price and then some.

Scorpion EXO-700 - I was looking for a full face plain styled helmet with good fit for a oval shape head under 200, not easy. Aside from the expensive brands Arai and Shoei and Arai the Scorpion EXO was affordable and fit my needs. I even got another for my wife who liked it and who says lets go for a ride .

I broke down and ordered the Hi-Vis yellow and it certainly is hi-visIt almost glows in the darkI watched the video that C.A. has on this helmet and its very good.Initally I thought it to bee to tight,but its conformed to my face now and is comfortable,light and the screen does not fog.I realize now my previous helmets were loose,altho I have recently lost weight and this my be a factor.All in all a very good value.

This helmet appears to be made well considering the price. However, the Hi-Vis YELLOW helmet is in fact Neon GREEN. Furthermore, I ordered a Large even though my head size is 58cm and 7 1/4 hat size which requires a M based on the sizing chart. Even a large is too small.
