I received the basic "Scala-Rider" with a Tom Tom Rider 2, But on long trips the GPS is silent most of the time, So I purchased the Q2 because of the FM capability. Now I use this headset all the time. It's great for my ride to and from work & I can now communicate with other riders in a group if they have a Scala-Rider too.
I was going to purchase just the control unit from Cardo Systems, but Competition Accesessories offered the complete package for the same price. Now I have 2 complete head-sets that I can install on both of my helmets.
This is a much less expensive way to go, without having to buy a complete radio for your ride and having to install speakers on your bike
