For reference I have used a Cortech Sport Tail bag for years. Even with the sides expanded, the Saddlemen TS1450R bag has superior storage capabilities and features. The Saddlemen is well made with quality materials and assembly. I think it looks great on my RC51 and will work perfect for my commuting and weekend trip needs. I really like the availability of the d-rings all over the bag if I ever want to sling gear on top. This gives me a lot more possibilities to haul more stuff with a cargo net or bungees if needed.The bag does move a little more than I'd like when attached, but it's not excessive. Also, by design, the bag can rest on your tail fairing. Although the underside is non-abrasive and the d-rings are concealed, a heavy load can rub on your paint. I commute at night in the winter, so some reflective piping would have been welcome. Note that the integrated rain cover does have a reflective strip on it.Overall, this is a great bag and a welcome step up from the discontinued Cortech Sport tail bag. I imagine I will get a lot of miles and use from the Saddlemen TS1450R tunnel tail bag.
