Won't open with backrest - Won't open with backrest TX Recommended by Reviewer: No

Pros: It really will hold two full face helmets

Cons: Won't open withbackrest

When mounted on the bike with a backrest you cannot open it. I am going to get a drawer slide at the hardware store and figure out how to mount that to the luggage rack, then mount this to the slide. I will need to have a lock on the slide so it doesn't move while I'm driving, but then I can slide it away from the back rest so I can open it. If they designed it to open from the other end it would open just fine. Poor design.
