Now there is no need to cut or splice wires in order to install a headlight module on your bike! With the Plug & Play Headlight Module, simply select
FEATURES:
Toggle Modulation ON and OFF - The modulation of the headlight can be toggled on and off by the user at any time. When the bike is started the default is modulation ON. To turn the modulation on or off simply switch your bikes high low beam switch to the opposite position, and then back to the original position within one second (this can be done with the switch in either the high or low beam position).
Auto Night Shut-Off - The Diamond Star™ Plug & Play Headlight Modulator is designed to automatically turn on and off at specific light levels in order to comply with the DOT's regulation of no night time modulation.
To Switch From Max to Min Mode - The Diamond Star™ Headlight Module is equipped with two levels of modulation to meet your visibility requirements. (Both are fully DOT compliant). The default level is "Max" when the bike is turned on, but can easily be toggled to "Min" or back to "Max" by simply pressing the horn button twice within one second.
Heads Up Alert - The Diamond Star Headlight Module can be connected to your bikes horn wire in order to add a visual alert to your horn's audible alert. Pressing the horn will cause your headlight to modulate for 3 seconds, then return to steady on; or toggle between min and max mode for 3 seconds if it is already modulating.
NOTE: In order to use the Diamond Star Plug and Play Headlight Module™ you MUST also purchase the appropriate adapter harness for your motorcycle (sold separately. If you are unsure of which adapter harness your motorcycle requires, please refer to your owner's manual or local dealership to verify the type of headlight bulb fitting your motorcycle uses, or click on the links below to see what most popular motorcycles will fit these adapter harnesses).

Works fine, easy to install - Fred in Pensacola FL

Pros: Easy install, did not have to remove any panels on my '07 VStrom 1000
Cons: Make sure you order the proper wiring harness for your bike
Seemed to be made of high quality materials. Had no trouble with wiring length provided in the harness. At first I tie-wrapped the daynight sensor back underneath my gauge cowling to get it out of potential rain. That turned out to be a mistake because it couldn't find daylight. I resorted to drilling a hole in the cowling and mounted it in a more appropriate light, and now works fine. The sensor looks like it belongs there, so I am happy. The pulsating light is great also, and the lights burn steady automatically when it gets to dusk.

Purchased the module without the proper adapter harness for my 2012 Yamaha VFR 1300. Website says the following NOTE In order to use the Diamond Star Plug and Play Headlight Module you MUST also purchase the appropriate adapter harness for your motorcycle sold separately. If you are unsure of which adapter harness your motorcycle requires, please refer to your owner's manual or local dealership to verify the type of headlight bulb fitting your motorcycle uses, or click on the links below to see what most popular motorcycles will fit these adapter harnesses. Problem is there is no link on Compacc to find the proper adapter. So I had to go online with SDC to determine which adapter to use. Called Compacc and told them of the deficiency in the ordering process. I told them that while I have no problem paying for the adapter, they should pay for shipping which they did with no arguement. Installed module and adapter to find that the adapter harness was wired wrong. Called SDC, figured out the problem and they sent me a new adapter no charge. While had some problems, both Compacc and SDC worked with me in a positive manner.I have and will continue to purchase from Compacc.
