Cons: none but the costs
I've used S100 products for 20 years and like all of them. I like the S100 engine brightener for my BMW R1200RT which has airoil cooled cylinders that stick our on each side. It is hard to get all of the cylinder clean in a normal washing. I use the engine brightener to put a nice shine on the black parts and it helps the cylinders stay clean. Getting road dirt off is a lot easier with consistent use of this product after washing the bike.
