Jacket is well made. Actually I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the leather. I would highly recommend this jacket.
Unbelievable Value - Steve Snowmass Village, CO CO

Pros: Well made, Great fit
Cons: A couple of back vents would make it perfect
Perhaps the best value for the of anything I have purchased in a long time. Heavy duty, well-made...not a stitch out of place. I am 5' 10 with a 44 chest and the fit is perfect. With the liner in, there is just enough room for a thin extra layer. Arm shape is excellent, with the fit improving in riding position. Decent length drop-tail keeps things covered well for the riding position on my Street Triple R. Neck circumference is ok, although I have a kind of thick neck...I have every confidence as the jacket breaks in and get softer that it will be just fine. Zippers are burley, and I expect long life from them. I have to disagree somewhat with another reviewer about the quality of the liner. Mine is just fine and I would characterize it as better then average compared to other jackets I've owned. I live high in the Colorado Rockies where temps range from desert heat to very crisp mornings days during some of the riding season. I would expect this jacket to be comfortable at highway speeds down to about the high 40 degree range without the need for an additional insulating layer. On the high end, this jacket probably has a comfort peak in the high 70's with the liner out...at that point, the mesh jacket is going to take its' place anyway.Although not armored, this jacket is heavy and tough. Plenty of protection for normal street road riding. My only wish for this jacket would be a couple of zippered back vents Classic style, great quality and an unbelievable value at under 150 bucks Buy it

Rider: Size 38 Short Suits/14.5-32 Shirts/30-32 Waist bought Size 38. 5'7" 155 lbs. I have a small belly
Two opinions...
1. Based on price purchased for 4.5 Stars: Very Good Overall. Leather is a bit stiff initially, but slowly loosening up after a dozen sessions. Waist is a good fit and rides at the hip bone up front and a few inches lower in the rear which works for sport bikes like I have, but sitting up standard/cruisers causes it to bunch/bubble up the rear AND front due to stiff leather. Neck opening is too large for me, but likely good for a 16.5-17" neck. When sitting the front pushes up to my lips neck opening is THAT big.
Arm length is perfect for me when riding a little long when relaxed, the way it should be Although hips to belly area is a nice fit, the chest is HUGE, especially when considering proportions to the arm openings I have small biceps, but it was a snug fit with the liner on. This huge chest and neck area emphasizes the "bubbling/ride up" effect when sitting down in a cruiser position.
Jacket without the liner is nice and warm, good enough for riding into the 50's, maybe 40's with layering underneath. With the liner, you better hope you don't ride above 60 degrees... It gets HOT in there... Liner fabric is a little cheap though and snags on EVERYTHING. Expect at most a dozen remove/replace times before the threads completely fall apart. Not sure how it'll hold up in the washing machine I don't plan on getting sweaty so shouldn't be a problem.
Note for the large chest area... Might be useful if you always ride with a chest/back protector, but I don't see riders who like this style of jacket wearing those type of protectors... Also note that if you remove the liner, it feels even more roomy up top. The liner stops just below the belly button so removing it doesn't give more room at the hips.
2. Based on it being a leather riding jacket 3.5 stars: Although the leather is substantial feeling, it came with some quality issues. There were 4 places where I had to self-trim loose threads about 2-4" in length, the sleeve stitching folded over the leather, the left arm had 5 RAZOR THIN cuts in a small area... Almost like someone was trying to commit suicide through the jacket. It was shallow enough that I didn't feel it was worth the return shipping fees note review based on price
Jacket had 3 areas where the leather "grain" was rubbed off. They were about 1/8" to 1/4" round. Expect to easily get visible scuffs when leaning against rough surfaces.
Although the jacket was very stiff at first, it loosened up after a few sessions... maybe a little too quickly. Not sure how this leather will hold up in rough use as I've been babying it gently on/off, always hanged or loosely draped on a flat surface, never folded over anything, etc..
Zippers are heavy duty, but the tabs are VERY THIN leather tabs credit card thin and 2-3mm wide at the zipper. Don't pull too hard! Neck snap lines up well and if only it wasn't so loose, it would be a "snap" to work it... Right now, requires two hands because of the loose neck opening.
"Adjustable" side straps are just for show. Try to make it smaller and you wouldn't be able to zipper up unless you have a 26-28" waist. At the normal position, it fits just right.
Overall Assessment: If you're a cheapo like me that goes for function/value fully expect it to hold up in a low side over form/fashion although this does look good, this is an EXCELLENT value. Just don't necessarily expect the "Quality Assurance" employee to be sober when your jacket came across their area. Think "outlet" version and you'll be happy with what you get at this price.
Hope this review helps those debating the price/quality ratio.
Side note: CompAcc had the cheapest price I won't state how much in case it changes compared to any other site. Even if you did have to exchange for resizing, it would've been the same as other sites with free exchanges. If only there was a size 36...

Bought this jacket in the fall of 2010. It is a good overall jacket and a great option to other higher priced jackets. Much better quality that the cheap crap you see for 100 all over the internet.. good buy for sure. Sizing was good. 48 fit great.
