Well I think that Rapid Transit has a winner here. The volume is equivalent to two half gallons of milk and can expand up to include two dozen eggs. To give you a useful comparison of volume I don't use the Head stem strap, the magnets are more then adequate. It doesn't flop around in turns. The map pocket is just shy of an 8.5 x 11 map printed from your computer but fold the edges and your good. The hand at the top and the shoulder strap are handy as well.
