Good Pants, No regrets - K1200 SC

Pros: [None]
Cons: [None]
Overall the Ranger 3 design is excellent. Everything seems very well thought out - no afterthoughts. Quality is excellent. I am much happier with these pants than other brands I have bought in the past. Now I just need to get a good pair of pants for warmer weather. I might try the Sliders All-Seasons that they other review mentions.
Love the pants, go great with AST 2 Jacket - Martin SC

Pros: comfortable, sized right, good protection
Cons: There are no through pockets
The Ranger 3 Overpants are substantial, sturdy and very warm, even without the thermal liner in place. I wear them over my sliders khakis and sliders jeans in temps ranging from 40F to 60F. When I get off the bike I start sweating and it is not long before I have to take them off. While riding, nothing gets into them air, coldness, water. It all stays out. Great for cold weather, but would not work well at all in warm temps. I have Sliders All-Season 2 pants for that.A few cons minor Not sure why there are no through pockets You have to remember to move your wallet, phone, gum etc. to the ranger 3 overpant pockets. It would also be nice to have some stretch panels or an adjustable waist. I find the waist a bit tight, but I know the next size up would be too big. Finally, the interior mesh seems like it will get shredded over time from my boots going in and out, but who knows. It is pretty common to have mesh on the inside to cut down on the perspiration.
